as you probably know the CAN$ skyrocketed (up to 1.10US$) lately and canadian poker player lost a lot of money.
a couple days ago the CAN$ dropped from 1.07US$ to 1.04US$ (+500$ for me without doing anything) and right now the CAN$ is at 1.015US$ !! so probably another +500$ at the end of the day.
i received today via FED-EX a 4.2K US$ check and i'm wondering if i should cash it in right now or wait a couple more days ?? i need opinions

I'd wait, i bet the us $ will be stronger in a couple of months, they can't let it go down like this, its bad for their economy. |

Yeah I was thinking the same thing(Canadian here), and I think its probably best to wait, since north america runs on what the u.s dollar is doing, and we wont be stronger for too long. I aint no pro at economy though |

The U.S. dollar was reported to be making a short term comeback and then be heading downward again. At least from what I've been reading about it. However these guys are honestly not any better at predicting what is going to happen than you or I am most of the time. The market can and will always be very unpredictable, hence why people can make money from it. For instance nobody predicted the fed doubling its interest rate cut which was the reason the U.S. dollar went down so rapidly in the first place.
I don't really have any advice other than to take the money as soon as you feel satisfied with the value.
