Strong mind needed

So major downsings in the poker world for me. Basically those hands up there has been my everyday bread for the past 3 weeks (they hurted a lot more at NL100 and NL50 though).

You may wonder why I play NL25 now, no I havent lost my mind and lost most of my BR luckily. My account at ipoker was closed for helping a friend transfering some money (dumb me). So I was really bored without poker for couple days and then decided to deposit 400$ to Party just for fun. Maybe that would change my luck.

Yeah right.

Anyway, given that its NL25 AND Party, im up 30$ so 430$ that should cover the cashout expenses so im virtually at 0$ gain. I did play just 2 days and very few hands though so I guess its ok.

Anyone has the answer?

How long can a really bad run last? I know I just have to be patient and an AMAZINGLY GOOD RUN its just around the corner, oh well ill just wait and wait , keep up the spirit!!.

Good luck to all

David.

The most amazing thing in the first hand is that, if you look closely, if he had QJ he wouldve won me, if he had AA too >.<, the system is just making SURE i wont win lol

A good player doesn't have to wait for good runs to win money. He hovers over even during bad runs, makes money on average days, and sky rockets when running good.

well that's a perfect player anyway...

Your blog hand was just a cooler.

Hand 2 you should fold 9-J. It's these marginal "oh-I-think-I-might-hit-a-flop-sent-from-the-heavens" hands that actually detract from your long run winnings. You've got a better chance of winning the lottery. This is a lesson you must learn or you will never be a winning player, just average. I know because I used to do this and just take my word for it, I needed a winning coach to point this out to me. You're getting this advice for free

Hand 3 badbeeeeat. I rarely never ever post bad beats unless they're amusing. Some people do it because they're whiny attention desparate bitches when in reality it happens to everybody. It's the equivilent of being an emo kid. Please stop for fucks sake

Hand 4 check/call sets on blaring red-alert boards ftw

Hand 5 you should really raise that flop or you're just asking for it. It's a straight-drawy board with 2 suits. Don't bring bad luck upon yourself.

theres no such thing as a bad run, it's all in your mind

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

lol vegetable, I know thats a bad beat, thats why bad runs are bad runs >.<, I dont wanna whine so much but :

Im basically scared to death of putting all my money on the line on a set at the flop cuz I know I will lose to straight, flush or a bigger set

I can make money when I dont have terrible luck, and ofc like any other person can make lots of money when I hit everyflop.

The bad thing comes when you hit a lot of flops but the enemy hits them harder, or you hit hard flops and turns and get it all in, just to get outdrawn at the river
