I had my worst out of the money streak in mtts last night. I ran 30 of em and missed the money in 29. I cashed in a $20 180 man for like a $20 profit and lost 300 in hu cash... pretty ugly night, -2800. Today went okay... played some hu cash and recorded. I was up about 800 and then I got coolered in two hands to end down -100
QJ I open to 12 it's 2/4 opponent makes it 36 I call flop Q55 two spades he bets 3/4ths pot I call, turn is a T he bets about 2/3rds I call, river is a brick, he shoves I call he has 35. I don't think I played this hand very well. It would have been better to raise his flop bet and get it all in there if he wanted. I probably should have folded to his turn bet as I read it for strength. It's really important to follow your gut and not just play your hand strength. Tough to do 100% of the time though. Also if you play a wierd line and your opponent starts betting big, it can be a bluff sometimes but don't convince yourself that your gut says he is bluffing. You are hoping he is bluffing.
Had a nice Passover tonight. I'm not religious... at all but I got to eat good food and drink on a school night. Not too bad.
