200 deep HU

IP 3x
OOP 3bet to 12x
IP 4bet to 36x

Can OOP call here with a hand like 65s? Intuitively I think the answer is yes, but it could also be no.

If the answer is no, how would we balance our range on boards that favor 65? (66x, 55x, any kind of board where 6 and/or 5 is a straight). Is it not something to worry about at all, since these kinds of boards are rare enough and the SPR is low enough for 65 to not matter?

If at 200 deep we can't call, there is surely a stack depth at which we can (and must?) call, despite being OOP and facing a rather large 4bet. However I often feel like a fish for calling big 4bets OOP with a drawing hand. I guess it really depends exactly how deep players are?

(65s is mostly just an example hand, it could be anything from 22 to AK, although with 22 or AK I feel a little better making the call than with 65s.)

I agree with you that it is reasonable, though it's close. 65s should have very close to 1/3 equity against a 4-bet range, which is what you would need in raw equity to call. You are at a positional disadvantage, but have a hand with a playability advantage, so are going to have a good idea about where you are in the hand. I do not know for sure but I would guess that the playability advantage is the more significant of the 2, and should at least be enough to balance out villains positional advantage.

OOP deepstack is something I also fail to get. You would think 65s is good enough at a bigger stack depth but it also carries so many negative implied odds with it that the correct strategy would probably be employing a substantial amount of donkbets on any street (this is my assumption, would love to have a better player express if this can be wrong)

I think a mix of calling and folding is pretty good. The more likely my opponent is to play passively on flops the better the call becomes. If he has really high cbet % on flop in 3 bet pots you probably want to be folding more often.
I rarely lead but in 200bb I am not sure if its right or wrong. I usually only donk lead as counter to my opponents lack of a proper cbetting strategy

I don't play HU so my ranges might be off here and it's also a very rough estimation/math

I think it's fold , you will have to realize 85+% of your equity and oop... it is very optimistic
