Maybe I've had a few too many drinks but this blog is hard to understand.
What does cowed mean?
Not completing projects I'd say is pretty damn wussy (especially if you agreed/gave your word you would complete a project)
Then you talk about 1 rep maxes...
I am not trying to talk negatively about 1 rep maxes but in circles outside of powerlifting 1 rep maxes don't really mean shit. I mean if a bad bitch in some tights sees you getting stapled by the bar or something like that yeah that's a bad look but if you showered up and changed into some prada and asked her if she would like to take a ride in your lambo the former kind of ceases to exist. |

lol i think the same thing every time i read one of your blogs (still like them though). cowed kind of means like to get bullied or intimidated.

Yeah. I understand. My blogs are typically just shoot from the hip, stream of consciousness, vomit some thoughts and click "Submit Post." I feel like many times I am communicating in a language only I understand. Sometimes I care, sometimes I don't.
IRT this blog:
Getting cowed is = to being a wuss
Not completing projects when you give your word to complete them is being a wuss

Nice blag. I kinda think the same, gotta have balls and just do it. Like swimming in a moat Still, can't expect yourself to leap to the perfection, like you say these are deeply ingrained habits from childhood. Even taking a small step of not being cowed when making eye contact; that could be something to be happy about. Getting into weight training is great for boosting confidence. noice.
Tonight as I was running home through the city and passing alot of cuties I would like to talk to, I was thinking: what would it take to be so confident, that I can just approach all night along the street here. Obviously would get rejected over and over, but still meet a ton of people, and handful of whom would get along with me and want to go on cute dates and/or talk about big ideas. Its evening and there are alot of laid-back bars along the street of this hipster main-road, people would be open to talk, and I've done a few conversations here before (60% bomb rate, naturally) , but to go BIG and meet 50 people in a night but I'd need to have a huge lake of confidence in me, self sufficing and untroubled by akward, with a ton of good things to talk about, and quick mind to get to conversations that gel with the person I am talking to.
Def want to read and memorize some more taleb stories, but I don't have much time anymore. hah.
by the way, did you ever get to read 59seconds by Richard Wiseman? |

not sure if it'd be enjoyable to cope with 388 different end notes though, does it like.. become a positive part of the experience of reading the book? |
it's supposed to apparently, still feels really cumbersome for me. i actually found this guide on how to read IJ and it kind of gives me hope that things will come together. definitely not something i can half-ass my way through i guess t.t |
