thanks everyone, we just stopped play at 9:30 PM tonight.

We moved 10 handed to the (final table) and played til 9 left.

few hands in, I pick up KK in sb, seat 5 opens for 28k at 5/10k, seat 6 stationary pre, strong player post flats (live pro), i 3bet to 28 + 57k.

seat 5 folds, seat 6 calls.

J94ccc flop. I lead 80k, (villians standard cbet) - he calls. (I held no club)

Turn is like a 6h.

with 3 clubs on board, and my image against this particular villian, I opt to rep the Ac and put out a semipot bet (242k) - he timebanks forever....I try to put out a few false tells since we've played about 10 hours together, and he reships.

I snapcall committed, he flips KJo with no club. no Jack on river.

Few hands later, AQ vs AK, AJTQx, road to the final table is complete.

lets get top 3 and then first one time!

I believe in my dreams, my path has been a long, hard road, and I'm very excited to have this opportunity.

This is my 2nd 1k BI in the past year or two. Last time, I had JJ vs QQ vs Tonkaa for 7th for 11k @ stars on a field of 179. Hopefully this time in the field of 171, I Can take it down!

With a win, first order of business is to skype anyone I owe a penny to, go to western union and start sending.

going to relax for the rest of the night, Final Table Starts at 1PM tomorrow.

I'm chipleader at 1.3 Mil, blinds 500/1k. many stacks are moderate around 250-500k, and 1 960k stack, his names Adam, we had a good half hour chat after the game, real cool guy.

One of my best buddies from the tourney busted 10th, hes a software engineer that plays part time, and played one hell of a tournament, was with him at a few tables.

My best hand played so far was when it got to final 18. Which was ITM.

a guy with over 1m and a hyperlag image flats my open with 98o in the big blind. I had 69hh.

He was drinking alcohol and some shots, and running over the table before I arrived everyone said.

Flop comes 722dd. I cbet, he flats. Hes on the worst board to rep ever..

turn T. he leads 45k or so, i repop 90k ontop. He thinks about 5 seconds and says 250k on top.

I hesitate for a second, could he really have a 2 vs me here? douuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuubtful. We're both 100bb deep going into the hand.

I announce allin. 22679T. he shows and folds and flips out when i show my 69hh. he then proceeds to take his 1 million chips and lose them all within 10 or so hands, he was drinking, the show put him on full all out tilt, his face was so flushed, was truly my best play in a long, long time, for whats at stake for me and my father and my debts that I aim to clear and future BR booooooooooost.

Was alot of coasting, value betting, tons of 6max play today which suits me best imo, and roll into tomorrow with a really strong image and about a 35bb chiplead over 2nd. (950k is 2nd)

My low point was around 650kish after losing sb AQ v co KK, and got back to 1.3 with the KK vs KJ, thankfully.

Looking forward to playing my best tomorrow and getting a nice W.

9th is like 5k, 1st is 45kish. 2nd is 28kish.

Thats all for tonight folks, wish me luck, I hope to high heavens that I have lady luck on my shoulders tomorrow.

Going to go sit in the Jacuzzi, watch a movie and call it a night.

Thats for your support, and rooting me on guys, I appreciate it.

Byrn, I know you're right about a lot of things, yet you tend to be so cynical and re hash so much stuff from the past, when you truly have no idea of what I'm really like, which is why I do get agitated with you're trolling (13k posts hehe)

I'm very optimistic, have been broke or damn near for a few years now working my ass off (staked, had bills paid) to rectify my past mistakes. Took 40k in debts down to around 10k while doing that at 50%, keeping very little if anything for myself.

I'm not looking for a pat on the back, sympathy or anything, but please do understand, this has been the plan again for a long, long time. Clear my debts, continue to keep rolling and continue to grind out any games that im +EV in..

Obviously, I wasn't good enough in 2009 to play in all those games I was in, but that also boosted my learning curve a ton and got me to be able to win at the rate I've been winning at the last couple years.

I know its been a long ass road, I've matured through LP and the LP members, was just a green kid from the suburbs when I started with no business knowledge at all, just the fact that I was an alright player until Jlost88 and Woodbrave took me under there wings, along with DooMeRFD and Sean Nolan and Baza88. If I get this win, which I have the full intention of doing, they have a large part to do with it.

Wish me luck, thats what happened, my thoughts, and have really high hopes for tomorrow.

GL LP,
I wish, I wish, upon a star, to be #1 in buffalo tomorrow.

RYan

I really hope you win so the people you owe money to get paid back.

Just remember that your dad paid your entry, your accommodation and this months rent.

You listed some pretty big names that helped you "get where you are today" (whatever that means) - Yet they most noticeable by their absence, and its not surprising that a family member is now your financial backer. Your reputation is in tatters and people don't want to risk another one of your "botched stakes" that take close to a decade to be paid back.

Its also the reason people will only lend you small amounts for living expenses at 2:1, and that was the best offer you got because that was the one you took.

This really is a double edged sword, but since you aren't interested in being helped, for the greater good I hope you win and pay back the money you owe. Unfortunately the price you will pay is that it will further cement your belief that you will make any money from poker.

What will happen if you don't win?

Are you going to pay your entire share to those you owe? Or are you going to keep it as a "bankroll" and keep playing with it?

Where are you now?

You're close to a $45k win that will net you $0.

A few months ago you had a $20k win that netted you $0

I look forward to your upcoming cash game graph.

gl man. Hope you get the win and cushion yourself a mtt bankroll and learn to stick to your game and within limits. This seems to be a real opportunity to make that happen.

NeillyJQ: I really wanted to prove to myself I could beat NL200, I did over a small sample, and believe Ill be crushing there in the future.

Byrne stop trolling to raise your "internet popularity" to the level of "hilarious".

Haven't read this blog for a while because basically I think you're a delusional pos but it's still good for some fucked up lulz I see.

Only hope you win so the people you owe can finally be paid.

/"cynic".

BYRN, YOU ARE CORRECT ON ALOT THERE SIR.

My dad didn't really pay my rent etc this month, he lent me the monies til I pay him back.

Its amazing how closely you follow my life, go back in my blogs etc, must have a lot of spare time

I have numerous people that would back me in a snapcall heartbeat. I was getting 1:1 loans for the last 6 months on the stake with baza88, my name is highly reputable for being a solid grinder, responsible with his monies.

I've only played poker for the last 7-9 years, working like 5 days of normal jobs during that time. Making money off poker is what I do.

I've had a few botched stakes before I understood the business end of the game, I definitely give you that one.

My reputation is only in tatters in a few peoples eyes (mostly greedy cashgame players).

My reputation is extremely good on the MTT circuit among mid to high limit MTTers.

I have no idea what would happen if I don't win. I don't think like that.

I'm sure payments would be made, and I'm sure I'd keep around 2k for a bankroll to grind up if 1st isn't the case, although I truly believe 1st is the case with solid focused poker.

You talk about my scores and what I netted, but forget the fact that I'm winning these scores, and now on my own dime per say, although my dad did snapcall to put me in this MTT. This room is Free and Comped for him because hes a chairman.

I haven't asked for a loan from the poker community in years, and trust me, theres many that would in a heartbeat, if I truly needed it.

The 45k win will net me way more than 0 lol, it will net me around 10k after debts are paid.

there ya go byrn, took my time to actually read one of your posts and responded to your trollness.

Wish me luck, Starts in 36 minutes.
