Their fraud support is on it but the guy said they can't usually do much in this case because the perpetrator shit it away to multiple regs, not just chip dump to one guy.

i do think that there is some merit to filing a suit against the poker site. they should have to take measures against these sort of actions, like having you enter some personal information if you're using a different IP address than last time or something. but such demands will probably never be implemented until someone replaces these ridiculous gaming commissions with proper government institutions. really feeling with you, and hoping it will work out.

I think having an Email that is strictly for your poker account is also a good idea.

Definitely gotta get a token. Hard to even feel sorry for you without one. Just makes me mad that someone could/would hack your account, and then just piss the money away to fuck you. Like why even do that shit?

I am actually very surprised that Poker clients do not have a system that is similar to Steam. If you login to your Steam account on a different computer, it asks you for a code which is emailed to you. (I understand your email was hacked too), but it must be pretty simple to do, and its just one extra security measure to prevent people hacking into your account.

I used to use the same password for almost every website I visited, I eventually started adding new passwords as years went on when I would register at new sites.

Sometime in 2010 or 2011, my Hotmail account caught someone trying to login multiple times, and it locked my account and I had to provide information from when I opened it, which was in 1999 or something. I eventually got back in a week later, but the most important thing I did was to tick the box that says "Have your password reset every 3 months", which basically auto-resets and I have to choose a new password every 3 months.

I also changed all of my passwords for all the websites I use, which is sick cuz it's at least 15 different passwords.

I'm pretty sure my original problem was because I wouldn't clean/virus scan my computer that often, and I would visit various MMA stream sites at the time, now I use 2 different scanners to catch different things on the 1st of every month, and I also only use 1 website to view MMA streams, which is reliable and non-sketchy/hacker`ish.
