Lol. I was kinda expecting this after lucksacking a supernova tourney. but it's ok really. still down about 7bi total but really just 1bi if i deduct the rb i can convert now. its just tough not being able to win a decent amoung after almost playing perfectly at FR but results just keep raping and raping me over. tokeweed and i have been thinking of what business or investment to go into early next year just so that i dont have to play more of this stupid game i really cant beat at a site that lets me win money but just fucks me up in the head adn ruins my mood IRL. i still cant make those big superstar folds especially when im on a little tilt mode. Its been a great year still and ive been able to pull off a decent amount despite having some huge personal problems to deal with even up to this day, id like to think that once ive settled this shit,i can finally be stable enough emotionally to deal with downswings and variance and make like 3 times what i made this year, i really feel my game is a lot stronger now and i only have to let go of some nittiness and release some of that gamble i really have inherent in me, especially now that i have a good amount of money saved in the bank for next year's business plans. i really am very optimistic about next year for me, i think it will finally be my breakthrough year and im planning to quit poker after next year and be financially stable enough to not rely on such a mindfucking trade. lol.

Think i make blog post when win / lose a level...i run bad...and it doesnt really have to stop......which sucks....good news is when i run bad / tilt im still profitable...this is seriously the worst run of cards / situations i have had in HUSNG's...at least is filled with like bingo / checkers players...

I'm doing pretty well on the SNGs on FTP and i'm nearly up to $200, in my last 24 i've placed in the money 18 times i believe so i'm quite happy and will be moving up to the next buy in level soon.

Anyway, all these tournaments have given me just over 500 full tilt points. I'm not entirely sure of the best way to spend these. I see a few MTTs i can use them for but i don't really know which ones would be the best to invest in. Does anyone have any input of what i should be trying to achieve with these points?

Hey all, sorry for the few days with no update, was trying to get my password from here for a few days but never got the email they send you. About to go to bed for the night right now and at about 369k hands for the month, 11k off pace.

Finally got a new desktop today because stars kept freezing for like 20 seconds once an hour, then I would get sat out at a bunch of tables, and miss blinds/hands and was putting me on super tilt. So went to Best Buy and decided to just ship a new desktop without much thought. So now I can use the new one for just poker related stuff and I might finally be able to 24 table with a HUD now for the first time ever lol, excited about that actually.

what started as a terrible day turned into a pleasant one. i started off by losing 40 on my cake account, took a break, then lost 25 on my pstars account, bringing me to just under what i started off with. however things changed while i tilted into some tournaments. on stars i played in two, out within the first 5 people on both of them...45 person and 27 person. then on cake i registered late for a 6 dollar 1.5k guaranteed tournament, with 1st taking 270 bucks. i got 3rd out of about 330 for 130, which i am pleased with. along with bounty it totaled around 150 bucks.

So I took some of the profit from stars and went for a road trip. I got to vegas on the 12th and stayed till friday. First night went ok spent a couple hours in the casino played some black jack just cause I had to waste some time so in about 3 hours I was up about 550 so pretty sweet. Went out and partied a little bit and went with some others I went there with. So the luckiest lady I've ever known to ever win on slots all the time everytime was down a little bit. So I went to sit with her told her I was going to make it a better night. With in 5 mins she hits big and that was it for the gambling for the night. WOOHOO party hard.
Next day wake up early go see the town. Went to a couple different casino's seen what they were all like. Got a call early for some breakfast and decided to play some more blackjack for 10 mins till they got down to meet me to go eat. lost 100 waiting for 10 mins haha. Got something to eat and on to poker. Joined a tourney with nothing but fish, yeah got to the FT and busted in 6th no money. con't getting shit on all day hit top set aces twice and still down 700 or so that night. just ran bad hit top two and someone ran runner runner flush. oh well. got some killer weed there and smoked the shit out of it nothing as quality as out there. it was some awesome shit. lost like 550 overall being out there after everything i bought and all the partying planning to go back soon next year. drove all the way back to pa from vegas it was a long drive home and some shitty hotels just on the ride but we had a huge bag of sweet buds and i was cool with that. some states are really cool to hang out in. but we made good time almost wrecked in a snow storm but other than that it was all good. got back a day earlier and made 200 online in the last two days so made up for some losses. over all great time would avise anyone that has never been to vegas to go see it the lifestyle is like no other

So Snider's post made me remember that I made an excel sheet for Pokerstars that can instantly show everything about your bonuses and total income for playing a stake for x amount of hands. If I knew how to put the actual file on here I would.

My example below shows a 200 nl 3 pt/bb winner that plays 30k hands a week... pretty sick how much someone could make if they stuck with it for a year, they wouldnt even have to be that great (which makes this sheet perfect motivation for me).

NOTE* - Assumes you are a supernova. I think vpp per hand at 200 nl is like .57 and at 100 nl is like .39

Looks like I lied about quitting 6max in my previous post since I did play some 6max today and will probably continue to play it.

I guess I played fairly well today at 6max except for 1 hand against an assumed fish ( 1 tabling sporting goldstar etc. )
After my little 6max session I played Bioshock on xbox360 that I bought a week or 2 ago along with Gears of war / Assassin's Creed / Halo 3
Last but not least I played a little HU 2 tabling vs some reg(??) and he quit me after he busted on both tables.

Today has been full of fail.

I am going to go all emo, so bear with me. First of all, I had 4 hours of sleep. I had a dental appointment at 8:30, and normally it takes 30 minutes to drive there. I left at 7:45 anyway just to make sure I'm not late, becoz last time I was late the dentist got really fkn angry at me and forced me to make an additional appointment. I end up being late ANYWAY because traffic fucking sucked and really retarded shit happened like a semi-trailer blocking an intersection totally for 4 minutes.

Dental appointment was shit (standard). Afterwards I have to go to the shithole lab where I'm stuck for a year being as a research-student gimp who is essentially slave labor (I don't get paid for a single thing I do there, and my boss constant makes me do things that aren't 'required' of me becoz hes too fucking cheap to employ an actual scientist).

First I drop a box of frozen antibody tubes all over the floor. That's not such a bad fail. Later on I was emptying used jars of xylene (a toxic chemical) for disposal, and the bottle I'm pouring into begins to overflow (I can't see the level rising coz the bottle is really dark brown glass). So my supervisor gets all pissed off at me becoz of this huge spill of toxic shit and thinks I'm a retard. Then the lab work I'm doing fails anyway, becoz the slides dried out hence ruining the staining procedure. Bye bye 2 days of work. Basically my entire day at the lab was fail.

Oh well, I'll go home and life will be EZ. HO HO think again sucker. It's raining like crazy so I have to run to my car. My demister isn't working so as I drive home, I'm constant wiping the windshield with my sleeve so I can see where I'm going. Then the biggest fail of all (and not even my fault): as I'm driving along, a semitrailer comes to merge into my lane to do a left-hand turn, but it doesn't see me. Result: I have to slam the breaks to avoid getting crushed, and the back of the truck still hits the front of my car anyway. Fucking retarded son of a bitch.

So I continue driving, and then 5 minutes later another suicidal fucking spastic driver pulls out infront of me from a park spot and forces me to slam the breaks YET AGAIN. So WTF I'm just fucking hungry, I haven't eaten a single bit of food all day and its 3pm, so I go to Maccas to get Big Mac Meal with BBQ sauce (Win). Unfortunately, stupid bitch forgets to put sauce in the bag (fail). I'm so pissed off at this stage that I just parked and walked in, asking for sauce. Normally when they forget I don't care, but goddamn it I'm getting my fukn sauce one time! Thankfully the manager was really nice and gave me 2 sauces (victory of the day).

I finally get home with my food and change into my PJ's (yay). Strangely no one seems to be around, which is rare because my parents are retired and one of them is basically always home. So I go look for my parents and then wtf happens? I walk in on them having sex. Seriously what the fucking hell. I have not walked in on them for years and years and years. I didn't even think they had sex any more. Seriously what the fucking hell fuck. I just want to say hi to them and get some steam off my chest. But noooo, I open the door and I hear "HANG ON!" and then "OH I HAVE A CRAMP". Seriously WHAT THE FUCK. Jesus fucking christ. So tilted.

I guarantee you if I played poker right now, I'd get dealt KK vs AA twice and lose, then AA vs KK and get sucked out on. That's how this day feels.

A bit of background on me:

I have been playing poker for around 6 months, SNGs/Tourneys and some cash. I have played a fair amount of NL100 HU in the past few months with good success, but am looking to get into the shorthanded games. Because of the success with HU, my bankroll on PokerStars is ~$4000.

So University has finished for the year and I have 3 months holidays. I really want to play alot and improve my game over this long break and try to move up through the limits, hopefully to midstakes. I figure the best way to do this is through obtaining coaching, preferably from a midstakes player who has moved up from SSNL to MSNL in the past few months or so. I'm probably looking to start at NL100 6-max, and hopefully move to NL200 and beyond by the end of the holidays.

omfg this is my new favorite show!!! They put these people through some horrible shit and they keep a scary vibe the entire time. There's no harnesses on high heights or helmets or any shit, and there's no clothing changes, but there are LOTS of snakes and spiders and extremely gross shit that they have to deal with. And the host is awesome cause he stays in character the entire time, which makes me laugh. I think I'd have a hard time with a lot of what they have people do, especially the really cramped places and sewers and so on.

I can't say for sure how I'll run, but I only see room for improvement by now, not tilt. I know I didn't drop limit but whatever it seems I'm a bit more confident after this and almost made everything back. Still down like 1.6k but I've got 700 in RB so it's nothing huge.

I was having that nasty 2.5k breakeven run which is the longest Ive had. I ended up down 40 BB on the day. I got up early today around 8:00am because I was tired last night and had a pretty long day so I crashed pretty early. Anyways the tables for some reason are really good early in the morning. The tables today had all the things I look for in them and it paid off very nicely.

Today I managed to have my biggest win this month. I won 56 BB playing $.25/$.50 6 Max LHE and another 15 BB at $.5/$1 HU LHE. Very good day and nice to finally come out way up after a shitty breakeven couple of days. I knew I wasnt playing bad or anything based on the big hands I lost. A lot of the hands were very standard. I was ahead in all of them but my hands just didnt hold up but it happens. I guess the best way to get through variance is to actually play a lot more.

Ive also always been very interested in LHE HU. It seems there really is a trick to becoming very good at this game and its evident in players like Matt Hawrilenko aka. Hoss_TBF and Bryce aka. Freedom25. These guys make a KILLING playing heads up alone. Ive seen them own guys for 100k+ in less then 30 minutes making very calculated calls and plays. (Yes I know Hoss just had a terrible session losing 1.1 Million to Ivey but Hoss still owns and well Ivey... he is the man) I really want to become a force one day in LHE HU but there are a few things stoping me right now.

1. Bankroll - Im almost rolled to be playing the first HU LHE levels which is $.5/$1. I want to be very well rolled before I start playing HU because I know it can be a very swingy event. I have been taking little shots here and there however and doing very well. Most people are sitting with only like 10BB and play so Nitty its very readable and exploitable. I dont think I really have run into a solid HU player but I dont think there is probably such thing at the lowest levels becaue of:

2. Rake - How sick is the rake at the low lvl HU games? I mean if you only have a slight edge over a guy at these levels the only real winner is going to be stars becauase the rake is so high. Ive been thinking of holding of HU until I am rolled atleast for $1/$2 but I need to get some practice in somewhere so I dont really know what I am going to do.

Ill probably just keep playing and taking shots here and there when the game is good and the guy is sitting short because I can put a lot of pressure on the guy which seems to be working at that level. If anyone knows any sites or anything with LHE HU tips or if you have tips yourself Id be ineterested in hearing them. I know a lot of you dont really play LHE so Im not expecting much.

Yesterday I went to London to look at houses for school. A lot of the houses I looked at were pretty shitty Id say. They are close to the school but there in a little village full of sketch bags and Id rather not live in there. The place that really caught my attention was a two bedroom apartment. It was really nice and pretty spacious. Perfect size and right within my budget. There are still a few places that Im going to look at when I head back down there on Friday, this time my room mate will be there so I can get his imput on what he thinks about the places Ive looked at so far. School is right around the corner so I really have to get on this and find a place.

I have to work tomorrow but I heard its slow again this week so I probably will be home before lunch and Ill put in some hands. Im pretty pumped about being able to move up to the next level soon. Hopefully things go well when I do and I crush at this level too. Right now Im beating the level Im playing at for 6BB/100 Tomorrow Im probably going to go back out again for another date with that girl I mentioned a few blogs ago. She wants to meet some of my buddies so Ill probably take her to doolies to play some pool. I told her to bring some friends for my buddies too lol. Hopefully everything goes well and my friends dont make an idiot out of me or themselves for that matter lol.

i donked of sum money on temp. tilt after another 2outer but overall im surprised how calm i stayed. and overall i jsut ran sick bad.when a shortstack beats ur KK/AA multiple times in a row with craphands from 5$ up to 40$ u know ur fucked.

also i started playing more and more tables over the session and at the end i was 18 tabling which went pretty good and helped me to reach my goal, ffps for giftcard for new monitor. seeing how many hands im atm putting in ill maybe try to go for platinum star.


so i reached my goal, new monitor this week, my bad run got only worse but could end it only down 15$ which makes it tolerable.
