Anyone here at LAPT chile? Looking for friendly faces

Hotel here is amazing, kinda in the sea, so yu feel like your in a ship, just a beautiful view.

Don't usually post tourney scores but sunday mill is an exception. So yesterday i luck sacked my way to the ft with over 8k users, ended up losing in 8th though. Lost to a pretty sick monkey who had in a few previous hands won AQ v AK ai, 99 vs JJ on flop ai and he finally beat me on a ep raiser, he sb flat, i bb raise, ep fold he flat call, flop 225 i bet he ca, turn 3 i bet he shove i call and he has a4 and i had AA.

Pretty sick to lose like this caue the table had only bad/scared money players . Oh well maybe the good luck will go to the lapt.

Anyways enough of brag/slit wrists, if anyone here i am in room 520.

Well since my small downswing a few weeks back, i've been playing well and running good in both poker & life! Spent the weekend at the beach with my gf and her family which was fun times, her family's pretty sweet and i get along well with them so that was good. Got my uni offer today which was science at melb university (one of the best uni's in aus), which is pretty much the best result i could've hoped for considering i didn't put all that much effort into school

As for poker tho, I litterally have not one complaint, running insanely good through the end of NL5 and for the entirety of my time at NL10, i feel pretty confident in my game and it's just a matter of grinding up the monehs to take a NL25 shot ^^. I switched from 6max to fullring (plan on switching back at NL50) just so its a bit more robotic for the microstake grind. I feel i understand ABC poker pretty well so grinding out 5-8 tables of 6-max just seems to be a chore against the loose passive fish at these stakes. Lately i've been playing 15 tables of fullring + 1 table of a random mtt on the side to keep me interested in the games.

Every bluff snapped off, guy l/calls a 3bet with JT and flops top pair, call 2 barrels all-in (thought he might have an underpair...?). I had overcards obv.

I've lost hundreds of dollars trying to "think" about what these guys have going on in their heads. Its a fucking waste of time. There is nothing happening in their heads. At all.

so i'm a very methodical calculating individual. i have not locked myself out of anything in 5 years. tonight, however, i get home and my neighbor is having a party. i say "sure i'll stop by, just lemme drop off my laptop." I drop it off and apparently leave my keys on the desk.

i call a fucking locksmith and he says its 35$ to come and 15$ to let me in. i say FUCK and say ok fine come over. he then proceeds to charge me 120 FUCKING DOLLARS JWKLFJAKLGJSA. i say WHAT THE FUCK NO YOU SAID 35+15 = 50. he says "no i said 15 and up." that fucking lying weasel. i obviously have no proof other than my word which is OBVIOUSLY FUCKING CORRECT since i have such an unrealistically good memory ESPECIALLY WITH NUMBERS.

i mean FUCK i don't program ANY PHONE NUMBERS INTO MY PHONE I REMEMBER ALL OF THEM BECAUSE I REMEMBER NUMBERS SO FUCKING WELL and this FUCKING SHITHEAD FAGGOT seems to think i would just let it slip by.

so now i lose 120$ that i cannot afford because of this fucking faggot

Ive been really busy this week with school and other stuff so I havent had any time to make some updates so heres what Ive been doing lately:

I got my first week of school under my belt. It went a lot better then I thought it would to be honest but that was probably because it was the first week. For the most part all that happened this week was I got to meet all my teachers, go over the course outline and thats it. Not much work or anything given out at all so Im expecting to get really busy in the next week or two. My 2 hardest classes have to be Math and Physics. Math has never been my specialty but Im sure Ill be able to get through it if I do all my work... thats usually been the down fall of me at school but Ive learned my lesson. My schedule is really all over the place. Some days I am out of school by noon, other days Im stuck there until 6:00 at night. This might make getting a part time job a little bit hard unless they are very flexible. I guess Im going to just put in some serious grind hours and get to a level where I can make some serious $$ lol.

Anyways on to the weekend. My buddies came down again for round 2. On friday we had a mean pre drink and watched the Leafs vs Atlanta game.... fuck the leafs suck lol. They were up 3-0 and ended up losing 4-3 in OT. I bet my buddy $20 that Atlanta was going to come back and win the game and since they did, he shipped it lol. By the time the game was over we were all just so sauced. We decided to go to Jacks which is a pretty nice bar. Its got 3 floors and is just crawling with hot girls. Sadly though I have no good stories about that night lol. Just a good night out with the boys.

Saturday we were all lazy fucks. Didnt do shit all day. We smoked bongs all day and then my one buddy started talkin shit saying he was amazing at poker because he just won a tourney last week for 1k... pretty nice. We ended up playing 3 games and he went out first in every one. Thought he would be a hero and make moves on everyone but he got caught every time it was hilarious. I actually ended up taking down 2/3 and came second in the 3rd one. So thanks to my buddies I drank free on Saturday lol.

After playing poker we were all in a gambling mood and got this heroic idea to get a $100 proline ticket. For those who dont know proline is Canadas way of betting on sports. In America you can just go and bet on one sports game but here in Canada that is illegal. Proline lets you bet on the games but the thing is you have to have atleast 3 pics. We all decided on waht the best bets would be and were ready to go out and get the ticket but we were all way to burnt out / still hung over and we all ended up crashing for a few hours. By the time any of us woke up it was to late to place the bet. i wasnt that upset that we didnt get the ticket. I saved some money but what kinda made me mad that we didnt get the ticket was the fact that we would have won! fuck! lol. We got all the games we picked right but because we are all fuckin pot heads we missed out lol. Oh well.

So when we all got up we started saucin the drinks again. We decided to head over to Michelles place and keep drinking there for a bit. Around 11:00 we went out. We wanted to go this bar called "The Ceeps" but when we got there the line up was huge and not moving at all so we ditched that idea. We ended up going to a bar called "The Barking Frog." To be honest I didnt really like the bar all that much. The crowd there was actually pretty old compared to everyone I went there with and it was just sooo packed in there. Everywhere you walked you were pretty much walking into people. Not to mention the price for drinks there was fucking rediculous too.

About half way through the night I was standing at the bar with my buddy. There was this sexy girl beside us and we were going to talk to her but this guy came up to her and started losing it on her. I dont know what she did but this guy was pissed! We were watching the bitching go down when all of the sudden the guy just throws a bomb at the girl and knocks her out! Obviously that isnt cool so my buddy and I ended up lacing this asshole with some fists to the face. The bouncers got there pretty quick and ended up kicking us all out. We told the bouncers why we were beating the shit out of this guy but they werent having it and they wouldnt let us back in.

It was fucking freezing out and snowing like a bitch so there was no way I wanted to stand around trying to get a cab so my buddy and I went over to antoher bar while the rest of the pepole we came with stayed at this bar. When we got to this bar I went to get a drink and I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was the girl who got got dropped friend. She told me she was sorry that we ended up getting in that fight but she also said she was happy that we stomped that guy. She also ends up telling me she thinks Im sexy. (nice) I ended up wheeling the shit outta this girl all night. She was loving what I was throwin at her lol. Her other friend though by the end of the night was just fucking bombed. She was a mess! She had to leave with her friend and I had to settle for digits. Whatever.

I honestly have had the worst luck when it comes to finishing since I moved down here. Its not that I cant its just I have shit luck and something ends up happening and I end up getting fucked over. Its seriously getting annoying. Whatever though the tides will be turning in my favour soon for sure.

All in all I had another sick weekend with my buddies. I ended up spending a little more money then I wanted to but whatever it was fucking worth it. Some of my buddies from my hockey team are going to come visit me next weekend so for sure I will have some stories for you guys. Cant wait.

I havent really been grinding online a lot lately though. This week I dont have any plans so if I dont get loaded with work from school then Im going to be putting in some serious sessions. Ive really been slacking lately online and Im mad at myself for this. Im going to need some more money soon so I might as well put in the hands. Hopefully by the end of the month if I dont make to many withdrawls I will be able to move up again.... hopefully lol. Ill do an update in the middle of the week with how things are going poker wise.

Anyways guys I gotta go finish doing my laundry and then crash because I have a lot of stuff to do tomorrow ughhhh lol. Take care guys. Hope you all had a great weekend.

Kinda interesting to see 99 at the top and bigger pairs like TT, JJ, and especially KK as some of my biggest losers. I wonder if this has anything to do with me treating 99 as a medium pair rather than a big one. It's at the top of my medium pair range, just like AA is at the top of my big pair range, and both of them are big winners. Prolly just luck though. Anyways after 12k~ hands my January graph looks quite retarded. Might as well be a horizontal line; you don't want to see it.

Haha , i was pretty sure i hate the game and only play it for money.
But now after 9 days of not 1 single hand of poker i think i would enjoy a session.

I dunno , i am playing poker for almost 2 years now. ( online cashgame for ~1year)
At first i enjoyed it a lot.
I really enjoyed to play this game.
But the last 4 month i didnt like it at all.

due to university stuff i am on a break atm.
I didnt miss poker at all the first 9 days
but today i woke up and felt like i might enjoy if i played a session



I ll be back to poker 2nd Februar

So yesterday I was down like 6-7k€ playing 10/20. I don't have 100bi for that level but I figured out that it's a stupid rule because if fish sit I want to sit. Maybe not if I'm downswinging, but otherwise it's all cool. Today a guy I know a bit came over and railed me a bit while I was playing cash. Played 5/10 and 3/6 and lost about 2k to begin with and I felt a bit annoyed about that. AK vs KK and AK vs QQ allin pre vs the same dude.

After that I started getting some hands, made another big suckout a little bit deep and suddenly I was even. The I started winning every hand for an hour and so and ended the session up almost 7k. I was up a bit in a session earlier today too so I'm recovered from that 10/20 session pretty good. Back on track to a 10k month which is my goal for the first 5 months this year. Obviously more is better, but I don't want to be too greedy.

From now one I'll play in any game I feel comfortable playing in as long as I can state a good reason to sit in it. I also think it's important to test my wings at decently high stakes from time to time. I learn a lot and with time I'll get used to it and hopefully be able to be a reg there sooner or later. I also think it helps in crushing lower limits.

Overall I feel good about my game right now. I'd say 7/10 or something where a 10 would be noticeably better then ever and a 5 would be somewhat uninspired but decent.

It's also great fun that a couple of my friends have some success. Could be a decent mid stake mafia here by next year, especially if Saki gets his head on straight and studies medicine here when he gets tired of living the dream in Canada.

Before I post anything, Arcology I got your $5.

Now on to the juicy subject. So I just got a bank account with my local bank, did all the nice stuff. Currently in my hand is a debit card with a "Visa" image at the lower right. So today I finally tried to deposit the minimum amount that you can with a Visa to Pokerstars, $10, and got an error. Everything entered was 100% accurate, but it is giving me the unfortunate error that there is a possibility my bank has a ban on online gambling and other misc problems.

(Also just to make sure to avoid my dumbness, I'm using a debit card, which to my understanding can be used anywhere a Visa can. Especially since I have a Visa image on my debit card. Although it is not credit; it is debit. I do have money in my checkings account and I've already attempted to buy a book on amazon.com that should be arriving in 3-5 business days with this card).

Anyhow, did anyone ever have this problem? If so, what other way can I deposit money? And I imagine if I could not withdraw money from my bank account to poker-affiliated sites that they most likely won't accept a cash out from a poker-affiliated site. Does this seem like an accurate assumption? Am I screwed?

I've owned a debit card and bank account for less than a month and just turned eighteen so there is no such thing as common sense since I'm basically retarded at the moment, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.
