Before I post anything, Arcology I got your $5.
Now on to the juicy subject. So I just got a bank account with my local bank, did all the nice stuff. Currently in my hand is a debit card with a "Visa" image at the lower right. So today I finally tried to deposit the minimum amount that you can with a Visa to Pokerstars, $10, and got an error. Everything entered was 100% accurate, but it is giving me the unfortunate error that there is a possibility my bank has a ban on online gambling and other misc problems.
(Also just to make sure to avoid my dumbness, I'm using a debit card, which to my understanding can be used anywhere a Visa can. Especially since I have a Visa image on my debit card. Although it is not credit; it is debit. I do have money in my checkings account and I've already attempted to buy a book on amazon.com that should be arriving in 3-5 business days with this card).
Anyhow, did anyone ever have this problem? If so, what other way can I deposit money? And I imagine if I could not withdraw money from my bank account to poker-affiliated sites that they most likely won't accept a cash out from a poker-affiliated site. Does this seem like an accurate assumption? Am I screwed?
I've owned a debit card and bank account for less than a month and just turned eighteen so there is no such thing as common sense since I'm basically retarded at the moment, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

You are from the US, you cannot deposit via card.

yeah most banks have it banned. I use "Comerica" bank which is one of the few that allows deposit threw debit. Chances are you are blocked..... how about you try googling next time. Seriously this question could have been answered in a millisecond on Google.
Try buying a "All Access Visa Giftcard" they work on all major poker sites. Also Western union and money orders work at Poker stars.

Do you think it'd be possible if, given I find the right person, I can hit them $10 via paypal and they hit me $10 on Pokerstars?

Well you only have 1 post so you need to find someone that would trust you. You'd also have to pay extra 2.9 + .30 for paypal fees.

use the echecks deposit/withdraw method from stars. that's how i do it, if you have a debit card you just need to find out your checking information (or get a checkbook, it'll have all the info you need on it).
you can cash out from stars so don't worry and your bank will accept their check, in fact it's just listed as a regular bank check not like "omg pokerstars check" or something.
The only hands a nit balances in his range are the nuts, the second nuts, and the third nuts.
