So our dreams was over due to a fucktard referee, most of the talk was about how most of the Swedish players played a much better game then most of the time. Mikael Nilsson didn't fuck up to bad more then once of twice, non of our central mid fielders was responsible for any Hungarian goals and I didn't want to kill any of our attackers to die during any point of the game. Even our goalie played good. Then with just seconds to go the Hungarians fucks up and gives Zlatan a free chance to win us the game.
Only a couple of more wins and then we might get to next stage.
Little poker, much more studyby killmepl, September 06
Hello,
thanks for comments, I really appreciate them
So, today I wanted to warn you all readers For next two weeks I must prepare to exams from differential equations ( I'm on Control engineering and Robotics, if I did good translation to English) so there will be no poker for me.
But still I got time to watch High Stakes (shame on me for not watching this earlier), and some other vids about poker.
But not playing really sucks :/
My thoughts on that would be that I'm little addicted to the game. But not like in some poor movie... I do not ever deposit again, that's not the point. I like this feeling that I'm sitting on the table with 5 fishes and omg winning their money. This adrenaline shots are something what I know only from poker. And it is good.
Recently I started to play with my friends live for low-low-micro like 5PLN (Wolfram says it's like $1.73) so very very low, but still +2bi up and I can buy cigarettes for free
Last time I was going home +5bi and it was pretty cool. The game with them is mega-simple, they are supercalling-stations so it's sooooo easy, and feels soooooo good to see that I have money from the game in my pocket, not only as a number on cashier window on stars. With that live game I realized that these money are real, and it really boost my morale up. And I want to play really bad,but I can't :<
As said, on Sep 18th I will go straight to my house from university, and take what is mine from random fishes (i hope).
And final word for today - I can't play poker now, so I wanted to show you all my biggest pot ever (both in cash and bb)- 558bb on nl5. Villan was like any other standard calling station from ultramicro.

Hi!
I created this blog for three reasons:
* to improve myself at poker
* to keep track of what I've been doing
* and to improve english writing skills.
About myself:
I'm from Poland, my whole life living in Cracow. I'm 20, and been playing poker for about one and a half year.
My friend RockingBastard first introduced me to this game, and gave me my first deposit. And second. ... And third.
For the first year I was like WTF I'M ALWAYS LOSING WTF WTF stupid game. But it was temporary frustration. Meantime I was in last class of school, and picking my university.
So when for the third time I have got broke I decided to deposit my money, with that thought that I will have more will to learn poker when I have something mine on the line.
So I deposited $23 on stars (like 9-10 months ago) and started to learn at nl2.
At the same time my classes started ad university, but uhmm poker>>>study.
It took me like 6-7 months to move up to nl5 permanently, but it's ok, I really don't care WHEN I move up, if only I will know that time will come.
This summer I managed to move to nl10, and as I write this words I have 20bi for that limit, so it's mine first achievement at poker.
Aside from poker i play on my guitars, reading books (fantasy and sci-fi mostly - The Witcher and Dune Chronicles are my favorite) and manga as well. I watch anime, and some tv series like House MD, Scrubs, Big Bang Theory, and Dexter. Also i play game of Go (Igo, Weiqi, Baduk), but I'm like 16-13 kyu so I'M pretty bad i think.
For games I played Starcraft, Counter-Strike, Heroes III and Diablo II. For now I wait for SCII
"I think it is only through education that we can eradicate poverty. We can eliminate diseases. If we invest now in education the world will be a much better place for our children and grandchildren. And actually it costs less. If we wait until the problem arises and we try to solve it, then it is too big. The cost would be much higher. If we invest in education in a third-world country in particular and also where there's lack of education, lack of health care, they will be able to culture themselves. They will be able to protect the environment. It will also create new markets [which] will sustain the economic development and growth all over the world. But the world has to realize that together we can do many things. And we all are affected. We all should be concerned. That's why we invest in education here and that's why I think the quality of life, the sustainability of our growth and economic development, will solely depend on human resources in education."

These are my results for this year. I played about half HU and half 6max. As you can see, running pretty well at the higher limits. Game selecting pretty well and playing when I feel mentally sharp and focused. Focusing on improving my game and building my br.
running hot at the start of this month playing $13 6max turbos with 42%ROI :D I'm def playing very good as I am now continuously 8 tabling instead of playing sets of 12-20 tables for all my sngs.
summer's end and back to schoolby Newblish, September 04
Well the summer once again nears its end. The summer was for the most part boring, though it had its moments.
This is the first summer in four years that i didnt have a summer job. I planned to only find a job in my field if anything and refused to work any $10/hr/minimum wage jobs that require no skill or brainpower. It didnt work out however, the federal govt offered me a position and then withdrew it after realizing they didnt have the proper funding to employ enough people to meet the job requirement standards over the summer.
Laziness took over with regard to the job search. My parents bitched at me constantly to get a job(even a shitty one) because otherwise i was doing "nothing" with my time. I eventually got an interview with farm boy.. and though i was quite sure i nailed it and couldnt have done a better job i ended up not getting a phone call back.
However, this deep down made me happy. I didnt want to waste my time with that shit. Why? Because poker over this summer has been more than i had hoped for. I am both very happy with my results and proud of myself for the work i put into grinding. I made more than i ever would with a shitty $10/hr job.
Here are my results over the 4 months since i got HEM(mid May to now).
My laptop broke in the middle of august, so it doesnt include around 1k of winnings. So im up roughly 11k over these four months. Poker has paid for both school and will most likely buy me a new computer soon. Very very happy with my progess thus far since starting a little over a year ago with a $50 bankroll on cake(not including random sng micro donkaments on PS before that ;o).
Used to be very results oriented in the past and always bitched about how bad i used to run. Some days i still try to fight the urge to bitch because i have some pretty shitty days, but its really nothing more than part of the game and i have no right to complain.
May this final semester at University not derail me completely from poker as i intend to play nl400 once my roll reaches 15k again(previously was 17k but i had to cash out 4k for school :[ ).
So in the past two weeks I've been attending some live poker events under the United Bar Poker Tour, where 5 nights a week they host free to play poker games at different bars every night. I've gotta say that playing live really kicks ass as far as the socialization part goes. They host two games a night, with two winners. Prizes as follows:
1st - 2500 chips
2nd - 1000 chips
3rd - 500 chips
Winners accumulate chips every night toward the huge winners tournament that is happening THIS SUNDay on september 6. I've been going for 2 weeks so other people have been accumulating for longer lol. so here are my results.
Finished 1st 4 nights in a row. One 2nd place finish. I've got a total of 9500 chips, with some chip technicality when I should have 11000. Chipleaders have about 15-20k. anyway, the players are pretty bad, others are pretty solid nits. With so little hands happening its hard to see what their full game plans are but over a 6 night sample things are beginning to get clear. I've kinda established myself as a monster on the table lol with people fucking flatting me in position n trying to win flops/outflop me. Even getting some hate/jealousy from the bad players while the tournament chipleaders are trying to befriend. The better players are definitely patient I'll give them that.
Its a $500 prize pool so first gets ~$250, 2nd $100 something, etc. I pretty much just attend for fun but winning will not be that easy. I'll let u guys know how it goes this sunday wish me luck!
Well I just finished my first week of work, it was a very long week (55hrs) which is good and bad, lots of ot for $$$ but tiring as hell, just come home and sleep then rinse and repeat. On the other hand somehow I managed to fit in a few hours of poker mon, tues, wed nights....
Oh ya I made just over $1100 cad this week @ work (~$1k USD) in those 55 hrs.
I keep telling myself that this job is good experience for an engineering student but in all honesty its not going to be relavent to any job I have in the future. Was thinking about playing poker for the fall (instead of taking a work term) after having a couple 10k+ months this summer while I was taking classes but didnt pull the trigger.. obv from pressure from my parents.
OH GOD I HATE WHEN I DO STUPID PLAYS
I SHOULD BE A 10000000000bb/100 WINNER INSTEAD OF JUST 11.5bb/100
I SHOULD BE RUNNING 5bi's UP INSTEAD OF JUST 3bi's ON THE SESSION THAT I'M PLAYING NOW
JUST LOST A WHOLE BI ON A FUCKING PLAY
THAT'S SO TILTING
