Did some work on my mix since last time. This is the intro to As I Lay Dying's "Losing Sight" by me.

Does it sound like a professional mix? ie can you tell it's just a humble home recording done with about 1k worth of gear?
Friday night + micro stakes = ?by killmepl, October 16
equals +10bi.
0wning.
2k hands in 4-5hours of non-stop playing. I'm exhausted, but it was worth it.
I move up tomorrow - nl10 second encounter. I will be playing at my homies so it will be another 0wning game.
[not very interesting part]
It's interesting that when I play I rarely feel tired. My mind concentrates on game at higher level then earlier. As I wrote last time - recording my game is working for me very well. I don't have that much free space on my HDD to record myself every time I play, also watching myself playing is boring (really really really boring), so I will record from time to time to teach myself concentrating on game.
Half of month passed, with today session I played 15k hands. Bye bye October goal to make 50k hands, but I will try to play as many as possible. [/not very interesting part]
I pm'ed to register in avatar lottery. Maybe something good will come from this.

So after messing around with the only live game in town I know of. I finally made enough connections to be invited to a few more. I now have 4 live NL200 games of my choosing to attend every single night of the week. Kinda neat driving around my city going from one game to another. All games have dealers + free food & drinks paid for by their 10% rake structure. So far I have not met anyone above NL50 level. Most people here who have played live in a casino or wherever know the typical adage, NL200 live plays like NL2 online. Nothing new there, they all limp garbage pre, chase any 4 outer draw, and call off 2 streets minimum with any pair. And a few think theyre hot shit buying in for $500 and bluffing 5x your bet with air.
Ran into 2 brutal coolers tonight. Family pot gave me an excuse to limp in with A2s, I flop the wheel and some cunt has 67 for the nut straight. Another hand I turn a flush with QJs and get rivered by a boat from A2o, but I managed to recover by simply having the best hand over and over lol. Few idiots tried to slowplay me with flopped sets checking even the river just to see me muck AK high etc.
I made some pretty proud laydowns, like folding TP on dry boards like T85 to severe counter-aggression, and everyone was nice enough to show me their aces every single time. Guess they were just so thrilled they had to let everyone know what they had. When donks werent slowplaying the nuts they were overplaying it, check-raising players with quads on random boards who were doing all the betting for them and just shutting them down, then being like "LOLZ I HAVE QUADS WHAT!!"
All in all pretty fun shit. Hard to keep track how much im up, since the last few times I just stopped by the ATM and deposited my earnings. Think im up like $400 maybe, so nothin much, but enough of a live roll to be able to play for a few weeks. I hate sacrificing my edge by not having enough to reload when I get coolered like in the aforementioned hands, but I can rebound with 50BB's and still have a good time.
Seems like in at least 60%+ of the MTTs I play in, I just stay at around or below average the whole time, and eventually lose due to a flip of some sort or get forced into pushing with unideal hands. Occasionally I'm able to muster up a decent stack and get ITM, but such times are rather rare. Also, I notice that many good tourney players, when able to get a huge stack from the get go, are able to pretty much guarantee their spot at final tables with their ability to continuously add to their growing stack. I'm oblivious in how to manage this and manage it well. I'm kind of an MTT newb, I play so many hands in similar ways as I would at cash tables, and I don't feel this is always ideal.
Also, I'm looking for someone to teach me how to make awesome flash animations. If you think you can help. AIM me at Firah88 and we can work something out.
some guy with the aim sw1x contacted me today. hes asking if he can have my esea account. this is an account i used for counterstrike over 6-7 years ago. he says he likes the name on it being stimmy and his handle was stimm. I'm not sure if hes trying to do this to try and get my email account or maybe hope i use the same password for it as i do my email or poker accounts.
obviously i just ignored him. but i figured id make a blog to warn others in case he is a scammer. he could just legitimately want it. not really sure. gonna ignore him either way.
Power hour - with the rule if you call out the name of the song or the artist you can give your drink to someone else.
Rubik's Cube Party - Everyone where 6 solid colors (like the rubik's cube) and try to trade until you're a solid color [lol probably not this one]
Mardi Gras in Fall Party - Basically for the hope of lots of chicks come and show boobs :
Toga Party - Pretty Self Explanatory
Any other ideas? It's pretty cold out now, 30~45 degrees Fahrenheit. So it'll have to be a theme that we can stay inside for. Anyways, what's your ideas? Girl to guy ratio will probably be pretty good... Usually is 3:1 or so... Keep that in mind xD
So far this month has been good. Started bad because of the major tilt on the end of september when I lost half of my NL25 month winnings on my frustated NL50 shots. First days I decided to play NL10 to build my confidence back again so I could feel better and grind a ton of NL25 again. I I cashed out $300 (my first cash out ever), my bankroll now is around $1.5K (yes, I'm a bankroll nit) and I decided that I'm only gonna give NL50 a shot again when I reach 2K and gonna move down again if I lose 10bi on it. I feel that I'm not playing nearly as much as I should be. I have to dicipline myself into playing long sessions when I'm winning and quit really fast when I'm losing. This month I had 3 losing sessions and they were the longest sessions I played this month so far. I guess this is a very common problem to poker players but not less important than any other, maybe even more important than a lot others that we have to deal with and improve. Now I'm also getting rakeback on FTP!
