Haven't busted out a multi-table session of NL100 FR in a REALLY long time. Looks like I still got it, although I ran pretty darn hot. Played somewhere like 26/22 but I started a few tables so HU stats got mixed in. I was playing more in the range of 20/16 or so. I feel that was somewhat close to optimal, and I don't think any of my pre-flop spots could be considered very -EV.
I feel like the games got softer, although I might just have improved a bit since playing HU. I have 30k vpps left till Supernova, so I'm contemplating playing some NL200 FR tables and grinding it out for the remainder of the year.

I've been playing poker lately, only focusing on HU NLHE. I am pretty sure I just suck at 6max. I think a lot of it has to do with attention issues. I find that HU keeps me much more focused on the game, and I find that I am able to adjust much easier. My results have been pretty meh, but I am becoming much more comfortable, and still actively trying to learn and improve.
One main issue I have is my graph, and how SD Winnings, Non SD Winnings, All In EV, and Total Winnings are all related. As you can see, my redline seems pretty atrocious. I know the sample is small, but this seems to potentially be a big flaw in my game. At the same time, my showdown winnings are pretty high. This leads me to believe maybe I am folding a good amount postflop, but seem to be doing ok when I do showdown my hands...? So maybe the redline is just HU variance? I dunno, what do you guys think? Maybe I need to be firing more 2nd barrels, c/ring more flops, doing more to win non sd pots?

Sup guys? Been super busy lately with school and shit but this week was a nice break from homework and all that garbage. I had alot of fun this week so yea here it is. (All the pics of Randy and Lahey I took from my schools website and no Im not in any of them)
On Monday Randy and Lahey from the Trailer Park Boys. The boys and me started drinking at my place before the show. We watched the Leafs game and to no surprise... they lost... again. God there fucking terrible lol. Anyways around 9:00 we went down to the show. The show was at my school (Fanshawe) and when we got there the line up was fucking huge...
So after seeing this line we were all a little bummed becasue it didnt look like we were going to be able to get in. We were walking outside when all the sudden I hear "Hey Mitch! What up bro?" It was my buddy Mooney from back home. He was a bouncer at the school pub where the show was and he let me and all my buddies in the side door. SICK! We got in at just the right time. Literally right after I got a beer from the bar Randy and Lahey started. They were absolutely hilarious. The whole crowd was dying laughing and I had a great time. Heres a few pictures from it:

On Thursday a couple of my buddies from back home came down to go see Stone Temple Pilots. Im a pretty big fan of these guys and they rock hard so I was pretty excited to see them. We sat around drinking and watching the leafs lose yet again! Around 8:00 we went down to the show. The show didnt start until around 9:00 but by then I was just shitfaced lol.It was a hell of a good show though. They played just hit after hit after hit. Last night (Friday) my room mates buddy got us all VIP at this bar called the London Tap House. Its a really nice bar that you gotta get dressed up to go to but its fucking retarted expensive. ($6 a beer which is a lot here) So were all over at my room mates buddies place when he gets a call from Tap House saying they had an opening and they were going to send us a party bus. We all thought it was a joke and someone was pulling our leg. So Im taking a piss in there bathroom and I look out the window and see a HUGE Grey hound sized bus pulling in. They werent joking. The best part was that it was free too lol. The bus was pretty crazy. Lots of lights, boose, big screens everywhere. Ive never been in one before but it was pretty cool.
When we got to Tap house it was pumpin! The line was huge but since we had VIP there was no waiting in that lol. Everyone pitched to get bottle service which I have no idea how much it was but it was prolly fucking rediculous. Besides Tap house being way over priced it also gets WAY to crowded in there. By 12:30 I could not get from one side of this place to the other without getting elbowed, toes stepped on etc. My one toe is fucked now cuz some slut stepped on it with her hooker boots. fuck lol. But when you put all that aside it really was a great night.
Soooo now to poker lol. Ive really been slacking this month when it comes to getting in the volume but thats mostly because of school. So many tests... so little time it seems like lately lol. Cant really complain that much though becasue Im having pretty good results so far (knock on wood)
Life is good! Tonight I probably wont end up doing much. Partied pretty hard this week and wouldnt mind a breater lol. Most likely I will go on lockdwon and put in a huge session tonight!

I know many of you like gororok suggested i quit poker. well, maybe you are right.
there is still nothing changed wih my plan of funding my studies through poker from next september, but still find it really hard not to spew when i am tired from work or because of other reasons.
This wold mean that I would play just weekends and a couple days during the week, some 20 k hands per month or so. it would suck as i wouldn't be puting the required hours in, but ot the other hand my thought process and knowledge are well above the required to be a winning nl50, even nl100 reg, its just the endless spews that started since i begun working full time that drag me down.
my goal is to be a nl200 reg by september next year and to do that i need to go from 2.4k plus 800 shipped soon to 10k,
this would be easily achieveable even with ridiculously low amount of 200k hands during the period(i played some 160 k hands in one month during my supernova quest)
id just play when i am not tired at all, some 12 hours per week and just play donkaments or watch vids when i am not at least at 90% of my energy.
id just pull huge sessions during holidays, otherwise its just strictly 4 tables.
tell me what you guys think, remember my oly goal is 10k roll in 10 months. I am starting to save some part of my salary and my parents wil hopefully help out a lil, so being a wining nl100 reg with 100bi taking shots at nl200 should help me to grind through my last year of uni when i come back from my placement.
I just have to set out the best strategy to get there.
P.S. I am loking for some longer term cooperation, if some of you NL100+ 6max regs would like to have a shot at coaching or frequent sweat sessions both ways, please pm me, and i just might buy a headset finally.

This is my month though, clearly running well with that gigantic upswing before. With rakeback and some other degen shit I'm up like 16k on the month so I'm 100% satisfied. If my prior run good can keep going on I can definitely make 100k on the year, but we'll see

Thanks to my uber donkament score I'm rolled for NL100. Today was my first session. This may sound funny but there are seriously more super fish at NL100 than at NL50. I didn't have any problems finding tables with 1-3 fish. It was awesome. I didn't run too good but I'm confident Ill be beating it soon.
When I restarted this blog I said my aim was to very quickly roll myself for 400nl and return there and grind as much $$$$ as I can in the coming months to set myself a cushion as I move onto other things. I have still been partying madly in that time however so as always booze, drugs and women slowed things down. In fact I think I'm drinking far too much and it shows on my skin which pisses me off, as I am a little bit vain.
Anyway, today's session really felt like a grind. Nothing went my way, but I didn't get completely screwed and it just didn't feel easy, but when I look at my results now, they are reasonable which is a surprise. I'm glad I kept my composure through the testing times. One of the hard things about playing a very aggressive game is the the difference between a tilty play and a standard one is often negligible, and only a read or a feeling can be the difference. This means that you can excuse a tilty play to yourself because it is fairly standard within the style. But you know inside which one you have done. I don't think I did more than half of one today which is nice.
So I'm now rolled for 400nl with 2k to spare which was the target to reach by this weekend.

Shit 3k hands from 2pm to half past midnight, but this session was on great plus.My roll recovered from big drop.
Sad thing that my studies take most of my time that was reserved for poker, so november goal of 30+k hands is impossible.
Good (for me at least) thing is that I'm doing pretty interesting program as project for Real-time System Programing. I am going to make weather model program (not as complicated as normal ones that runs on supercomputers) with all this shit, which I can't talk about because I don't know English that much.
I have to do another project - pneumatic gripping device - with technical drawings and this sort of shit.

I still play solid TAG ABC poker 90% of my session.
I only do this over agressive things like 5-8 times in 1000 hands after i got a very good picture of villain preflop and postflop play including different ranges + getting a picture of how he perceives me as a player.
So to some gayz it may look like the 5-8 % of bigger hands where i take an agressive line are my default lines T_T
well dont feel need to explain anything about my hands anymore in the future after what i wrote above.
Bottom line is
I am very happy right now + i have made a nice 748$ bucks this week allready
