So I made a new account on FTP and requested rakeback from rakebackpros. I wanna deposit 600$ and make use of the 100% sign up bonus and just play from there.

Problem is I have made an FTP acc in the past (without rb) but i dunno the details anymore and it's been quite some time since i played on that account. If FTP finds out will the shut down the old one or will the freeze my money? How big is the chance they find out or should I just mail FTP to close the old account?

I've quit poker. I'll still be playing sometimes but just for fun, it's a shame I spent so long trying to get good and never made it and it feels horrible to stop now after putting in so much time, but the more i play, the more time I waste... It's just not a good option for me. This site has been a great resource over the last 2 years, thanks a lot.

So what now? I am applying for some jobs and it is looking likely I will get a job for some telecomms franchisor, customer service - it will be fucking horrible but much better than wasting my life sat infront of a monitor trying to chase a dream. Hopefully having a job will help me improve my social and make some real life friends, maybe even get a girlfriend and lose my virginity sometime this year. I'm hoping I can come up with a good plan to eventually make money from my photography, because I really don't think I will enjoy this job - if anyone has any suggestions on this let me know... Creating a career out of photography is very hard nowadays since so many people are doing it (badly i might add) and it its generally just oversaturated like hell, you really have to pull off some special shit to get noticed or open up your own business. I'm entering real life after 3 years of sitting on my ass doing absolutely nothing, what a fucking waste. I've also started working out frequently and have improved my nutrition, running is good as its something I am actually improving on... Started this year running for like 2 mins then needing to take a break, now I can nearly run 5k without a break, fast improvements! I'm not fat or anything so thats probably why I'm improving so fast, just not used to exercising at all.

My advice for anyone who is beginning is to take comments like "anyone can beat nl100 easily" lightly and if you've invested like 6+ months into the game and you're still stuck below nl100, just quit. Unless you're playing this game PURELY for entertainment, which I doubt many people are.

Heres my lifetime graph for you all to laugh it, I believe I started late april/early may 2007, with a total of 2150 hours played. Cashed out about 4-5k, if i worked a minwage job I would've made like 40k probably and I would have a much better social life, work experience and everything. fml .

laptop lagging a lot with the dual screens. thought of buying a desktop but ended up spewing alot more than i should as expected lol
fpps will pay for this shit so it's really no problem anyway. getting coached past few days and it seems that first few sessions were kinda rough changing bad habits but lately ive been noticing that im starting to get used to it and having better results/ less spews and leaks. i dont have a heater yet but im pretty sure this purchase activates my life boomswitch since i notice everytime i spend on computer stuff i go on a crazy crazy heater haha.
im already using a 17inch hp laptop and razer salmosa mouse (which i bought in vegas last summer) and have 2 22inch samsungs and 1 26samsung tv monitor to pair with my new desktop and make my laptop just a backup or for when i travel which is around 4 months from now. here are the parts i bought and getting them tomorrow.

took a shot at the rush games and got doomswitched. fish everywhere but o well. i think i was 15 BI under EV?
couldnt care less actually. not even gonna bother with the whine HH and graphs etc.
it's kind of a relieving feeling.
gonna focus on university and working out, studies as well as my social life etc. all i lost was 50$, and that'll be it.
I can honestly say i had fun on liquidpoker.net and enjoyed the community as i was here. Thanks to everyone who offered friendship and advice. GL all.

I'm looking to get out of poker at least until the summer because engineering is hard! However, I only need 200 more FPPs on pstars to clear a $150 bonus. After that I'm going to withdraw some/all of my funds.

Im generally bad at cashgames, but still gave it a try. Since i had 50$ for a while i played a lot of nl10 to get the hang of it, then SUCCESFULLY transfered 200+ (ty lachlan!) so i played nl50 and ran pretty terrible but still had pretty cool result i guess

This is my first post!

I'll keep track of my attempts to become decent at Omaha here. This is my first attempt to maintain a bankroll. I have 7.8k hands of PLO5 logged so far. PLO5 games on Stars are deep stacked ($10 buyins), but hopefully that doesn't affect my play in higher stakes with smaller buyins. My goal is to get to $400 then move up to PLO10. Sitting at $140, long way to go.

Summary:

Overall I'm happy with my play. I do play too tight compared to what various online forums have suggested, and even though I've been trying to 3bet more / play more hands, my sessions have me at 19/10 with very little std dev. I'm not confident with 2/3 barreling, I will probably lose a couple buyins experimenting with my reads.

Graph:

The sudden $20 drop at around 3.2k hands was due to some tilt that lasted exactly 2 hands. Even with those hands I'm at a good 16bb/100, without them I would be at 21bb/100. Hope I can keep it up.

I have spring break from 2/27 to 3/7. The LAPC is wrapping up around that time, ending 3/2 I believe(the main event). I have heard the cash games are very juicy during the series. Will they be as strong near the end? I may also consider EPT Berlin which runs 3/2 to 3/7. Anyone considering either one of these?

I left FTP not long ago but decided to throw some money on there to play the rush games, which i figure will be fun plus im gonna make sick rakeback on top of what i win due to so many hands. Obviously FTP had not forgotten about me, and I came back just where I left off. FUKIN DOOMSWITCHED. I played 1.2k hands in about an hour and lost 5 buyins running 4 buyins below EV.
