Haven't played since November, which puts my playing time to roughly one year.
Unfortunately I no longer have the time to commit to improving my game, which has really sucked the joy out of the game since the improvement process was what really had me hooked. I have to be grateful that I have a job that allows me to be (hopefully) financially secure, even though the hours are truly brutal.
I managed to go from NL2 to NL100 when I was 100% committed to learning the game, so I can take this fact, and the few K I managed to rakeback pro .
Lost most of my gains towards the end as I started sucking and running bad as well, and it definitely helped that I managed to bink LP fantasy baseball
I still love the game, but I'm convinced it's the right thing to do.
Moving up to NL25. advice? graph inside.by dingking, January 22
After a good start to the year finally at a comfortable stage to move up to NL25.
This has been this month. Not as many hands as i wanted but have been working a bit extra but now i have plenty more time to grind. http://www.liquidpoker.net/user_pictures/55bd3.graph.jpg
I've only really taken one shot before and it was a bit ago and decided to just grind NL10 a bit more.
Anyone got any advice/tips for it?
Will all be useful and appreciated! Thanks!
Po po po poker has been going pretty well. Having some spew issues, calling strong lines too lightly, knowing already but trying to remember that people don't polarize their hand ranges with strong lines. Also sometimes when I am not planning out my hand I get rushed into a decision and end up making a mistake(usually calling too much). Fairly happy with the progress i'm making, feel like I am doing a good job preparing to play well everyday, and trying to focus the entire time i'm playing, not checking facebook, turning off IM, not checking HEM until i'm done with the session. One concern is my redline has tanked last 12000 hands, but I played a 4 table session to check my play and lines i'm taking and everything seemed fine. Goal is to be playing .5/1 fairly regularly, by the beginning of March. http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/6186/januaryupdate.jpg

Anyone go to Rutgers? Or in the NJ area? I am based in Edison (Home of teh Tom Dwan and the late Brittnay Murphy).
Anyway I am mostly looking to improve my poker game. Since I don't know anyone in real life who has any interest in poker, I thought it might be worth taking a shot to "Network" through LP.
I have ADD, although I haven't ever taken meds for it. i've been thinking about getting some for when I play poker (lol), dunno if it'll help.. im guessing it will
those of you who take meds for it and have ADD, does it help?
Well Finally 1/3 of a way through my stake. Got the first 2k games down which is awesome but I should have done it way faster... My laziness this month is annoying me lol.Anyways I have 4k more to go sooo still a long way. I don't think I ran that well in these so I'm expecting much better in the next 4k.. ANyways heres some stats graphs etc;P
