So I intentedly avoid playing on Stars and FTP but for some time now I've been getting increasingly curious about the rush poker on FTP.So I decided to deposit some money and try it out.I've played some 5NL and some 10NL and noticed 2 things - the swings are too huge for such a low limits, and strong pocket hands get cracked much more often. So I was wondering do you make some significant changes when you play 6max standart NL, and when you play 6max on rush. And what do you think are the most important differrncies b/w these 2 types of games. In my short experience I get to the conclusion that at least at the low limits raising and cbeting should be cut drasticly, and the relative strenght of the hands should be reconsider since, a TPTK at lest to me seems to lose too often in rush poker, much more than in standart NL.So...b/s this got too long I would appreciate any thoughts about this particular aspect of the game since i find it pretty interesting after all and want to try and improe my preformance at low stake rush poker. Thanks

I was really tired today, and played a too long session without break in the morning.
The result was that I simply Lagged it up hardcore, and was saved by the deck not to lose more than 3BI.
This went on for a couple hours before I took a break and pulled myself together. However as I do have a lot more energy since I don't work it never really got out of control, and I have surprisingly come out of this with a realization that I have been unnecessarily nitty all the time, especially in position.
I was raising every button, CO and like 50% hijacks when I was tilted, but I noticed that the regs don't adjust correctly at all, and the very frequent 3bets from blinds can be counterfeited by smaller PF raise size.
There was just one dude with LP Icon that adjusted correctly (who are you bitch), and was 3betting me 30%+ and there really is not much you can do about this apart from widening 4bet and calling ranges.
I just need to work on my 3betting in blinds, as with 30/28 and 10%+ 3bet stats I get called/played back at way too often.
Life update
I have luckily got an extension for submission of my student portfolio and 12k word report, I now have 8 more days for that and it takes a lot of my focus. Its first week at uni on Monday
Also, it was my GF's Birthday yesterday - we don't have families in here so it was just a cozy evening between the two of us.
I got her this auto rewinding watch (it rewinds as you wear it and move) http://www.mrwatch.com/thumbs/SVGK406-500-500.jpg, pretty sweet and a lil' expensive stuff.
I also bought her a cake, made dinner, blew some balloons, got her a card a game for her DS some bubbly and got her a big ass flower bouquet. So I should get away with being an asshole for next couple months hopefully.
The evening had a really bad dent though, as we went to see Resident Evil:Afterlife 3D. I kinda liked the first 3, mindless fun for a sci-fi geek like me. This movie was the BIGGEST CRAP EVER, seriously the story was so retarded I just want to punch something only when I have to thing about it. Furthermore, there was a French bitch sitting right above me who pretended she is a freaking A class movie critic, and was very loudly telling her friend how brilliant the previous movie was and how great and innovative this one is.
But I had to hear it as I had to sit there till the end because I didn't believe that bullshit scene that was inserted a minute after the first credits was the last one. It was. And I really wanted to kick something. Hell, thats probably the reason why I was still tilted today...PLEASE DONT WATCH THIS SHIT EVER
Ok I end my random rant and blog update, please do expect more as I fall deeper into the gambler world ;o
EDIT: WEEE IM GOING TO A PARTYYY TONITE
I haven't been to a club in a year, I can't wait to get drunk, dance in a club like a proper douche bag and have a huge headache tomorrow morning.
<3 student life
I used to play this game a lot during beta, but haven't since then. Does anyone want to sell me their account if they bought it and no longer play it, or just let me use it? Either way. Am just bored and want to play instead of SC2.
school has started, but im fucking sick atm. everytime i cough it feels like my lungs are collpasing on themselves, fml D:
Spent a little bit of time at nl50 6m rush, made 11 BI, moved up to nl100, made a few more bi. lost a couple, and today made like 190$.
I had to w/d some more stuff for RL, so im back down to a 15 BI BR, which is pretty annoying, since I generally like to play a bit more swingy pf, and i cant do that comfortably.
Currently on pace to hit my goal tho, so that's good.
Hopefully i get better, exercise, and do well. Hitting the tables again tmrw

Looking for someone to help me out getting some money onto my full tilt/ps account either is fine. Just lemme know, thanks alot! Will send first to rept. members.
is this impossible now? pls someone who can beat this take me up on coaching/profit sharing long term. i keep whining about rigged bullshit but my redline at 100nl can definitely make me a winner since im breakeven for the year at this limit so if i fix that ( redline is really bad at 100nl) i think i can become a solid winner. i only need a couple lessons a month, mostly just HH questions and just plain perspective from a coach who crushes this and does it with ease, i think that alone can really give me the confidence i need. i can beat 50nl so i dont think its really gonna be that hard to teach me to beat 100nl. free monies for like a couple of hours of your time a month? ive got some coaching offers before but i think theyre busy/changed their mind etc.
here are majority of my leaks ( as i have noticed over hands ) ::
blind vs blind (i am very uncomfortable most times here, ends up being a guessing game)
getting 3bet by an aggro guy in position ( i usually fold and tighten up , then i finally get a hand and fucking guy has aa/kk/aks/qq and i have to bet/call JJ/1010/ako )
bet sizing postflop, (when i have a hand)
single raised pots in general
REDLIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE (prob my worst leak)
I know these are fairly fundamental, and i have no problem at lower stakes since obv people respect my raises more lol. srsly an lper needs help here, and this can be mutually beneficial for both of us without too much hassle - you only lose some of your time

moved up to 100nl recently and found i couldnt really play more than 8 tables and continue having ok non showdown winnings. the first 5k hands are when i was 12 tabling so i decided to move down to 6-7. i really think this is a much better way of playing since it allows many more opportunities to learn more about the game.
Ive decided i want to keep winning at the same rate for another 50k hands or so before i start mixing some 200nl tables in.
