It's been a while since I posted anything here and that's mostly due to me being busy during the summer and obviously my lazy nature has been a factor too.
Before July started my cousin and my friend bet me I wouldn't play 125k hands in 3 months. I think before the bet I hadn't played more than 30k hands in a month so I accepted it in order to finally get used to playing more tables at once and put in more hours a day.
The beginning was great. I quickly won like 6k eur (all that on 200nl) + had 60% rb but after a few weeks variance knocked to my door and brought me back to reality. Constant ups and downs were driving me crazy. I was running bad, playing bad and tilting... All of it made me realize how awful I am at poker and that I need to learn a whole lot until I'll be able to proudly and honestly say: "I'm pretty good at poker". Before the bet started my plan was to watch one coaching video a day, analyze hands after every session and basically become a better poker player. I stopped watching the vids in August and just tried to play as much as possible. My bad run and play continued and I ended up breaking even in August (excluding rb).
There was one month left and 58k hands to be played. I hoped for a great month but still knew it was gonna be a grind. In the first days of September I won 10 buy-ins at 200nl and everything seemed perfect but then someone above decided to hit the doomswitch button. Not only was I tired of playing all the time, saying 'no' to almost everyone who wanted to hang out with me because I had to grind all the time, but also I was constantly losing and couldn't see the end of it. I gotta say I have never been so life-tilted.
I managed to win the bet and after summing everything up I ended up being +10k eur total in the last 3 months. Not that bad but it could've been way better if I had played good and hadn't tilted. I'm not gonna show you the graph cause it's fuckin embarassing. All I wanna say is that there's no fuckin way I will ever accept such a bet again - at least not during the summer.
I mentioned HHK in some previous posts as I was really looking forward to it. It actually was the only vacation I had during the summer and it was totally awesome. Check this website if you haven't heard about it.
It was heaven - 4 days full of booze, pot and hip hop music. I went bungee jumping while being high and it was out of this world I'll post a vid when I'll get it from my friends camera. Talib Kweli, Masta Ace and Edo G were the main stars and it was only the 9th edition of the festival. Wonder who they're gonna invite to their 10th anniversary.
When it comes to the uni, I'm studying BBA in Management at Kozminski University in Warsaw. I really like it cause I've got like 11 hours of class a week which is nothing. It also seems that I won't have to attend the business English class because apparently I'm close to being a native speaker. After reading my lame, short essay on why I've chosen to study BBA, they decided I can skip this class if I want to lol. I have no idea why they did so as I definitely am not that fluent in English, not to mention business English. Well, I can't complain about it I guess. I can just hope to pass the exams without any huge problems
The people are also really cool. There are some guys from France, Lebanon, Russia, USA, etc. etc. We'll see if I can make it to the 2nd year

I arrived in London on September 28th. My flights went surprisingly well as I slept pretty much the entire way. So I got in at around 10pm basically and just went right to sleep again because I had to wake up early, register for day 1b of the main, and then play.
My starting table (and only table) seemed pretty good at first glance but I soon found out otherwise lol. I had position on the 3 younger looking players who all seemed euro. Everyone one else seemed to be not the best for various reasons haha. I feel like I played very well overall. There are only 2 hands that stand out to me that I wish I would have played differently. I will share the one that I thought was kind of interesting and of course my bustout hand.

So I ended up playing in a 800 + 300 randomized bounty NL tourney which was actually lots of fun and a really cool tournament. Basically every 1 out of 10 players would get a bounty put on them (but still be hidden from the players) for 1000 pounds. Every other player would have a bounty of 100 pounds on themselves.
I ended up shipping 12kish with T6o from the sb at 400/800 and bb woke up with AQ and held (he had 8kish). Few hands later I ship the rest with 99 and get called by AT and QT and lose.
Today I played in the 1k PLO/NLHE mix, which was a cool tournament but very very annoying to play. I pretty much got into a lot of gay spots early on and had to make some semi-big folds, so I was shortstacked throughout the whole tourney. Eventually I doubled up in a pretty lol way in PLO when i had around 10bb's at 150/300/25 when I potted pre with AKsJ9. the bb tanked forever and ended up flatting pre (haha) then checked a 247 rainbow flop to me. I immediately throw my remaining 1400 or so into the pot and he tanks forever again and ends up calling with A662hhh.
However the turn came a 9, as well as the river.
So I then have around 20bb's or so and play tight and hover around that area for awhile. I then get into a pretty weird hand...
I raise QQJ9 double suited from MP to 700 at 150/300/25, mexico pokerstars pro flats from button and the guy I doubled off of pots it from sb to 3200 or so. I look where his stack should be and ask him if he has anything left and he shakes his head and holds up like a few chips or something (i dont remember exactly what happened). Anyway I ended up re potting to iso assuming he only had like a few 100 chips left behind but he actually had about 6.7k total or something. Anyway we get it in and he has AA3cc5. Flop is Qx2cc turn is offsuit 3 and river is offsuit A
I'm not sure if re potting in that spot with my hand is OK or not but I sort've thinking folding would be better now because I had a workable stack and the NL level was coming up soon, so I'd prob be able to get in much more +ev spots in that, rather than taking a PLO gamble. So right after that hand I get moved tables and ended up making a very marginal shove with A4o utg with 4.3k in chips at 200/400/50 (it was also 7 handed at that time). I think that's also probably a fold in retrospect and it'd be better to shove something like 89s in that spot imo but oh welll.
Overall I've been pretty satisfied with my play and I feel like I'm really on top of it right now, so I'm hoping to make a run soon. My best events to do that in are all still to come, so we will see.
Anyway, I really need to get some sleep because I'm playing the 1500 NL event tommorrow. I will make a much better and more detailed update soon but I wanted to go ahead and post something for now.

What's up guys, as the people that have read some of my previous posts know I have a prop bet to get SNE this year. I started this month at 535k VPP after slacking pretty hard in September (I feel like mentally it was going to be too easy to get so I wanted to give myself a challenge, this was all Subconsciously I think lol idk just a theory)
That would basically leave me needed about 155k VPP for the last 3 months of the year. Well I told myself, once October 1st gets here, there is no fucking around Joe, no sleeping in, no cuddling all day on bed with GF, no doing jack shit for no reason. So I got on the ball today and had a great start to the month earning 12k VPP, well on pace for a 300k VPP month. Got in the groove with some nl100 fr lol and then popped out 10k hands at 1/2 PLO, did not run that well (obv no one does at plo) but thougth I played pretty well once my sessions went along. I stuck with only 20-50bb games for todays 2 sessions and seemed to average a pretty good vpp/hand rate. I figure to play in these games with 24 going I will need to readjust my sleep schedule to playing noon-midnightish since overnight usa time not that many 1-2 shallow games run. My results at 1/2 are less then stellar to say the least so far, from my play long ago and my play for the last few months. Hopefully I can keep improving my game and turn it around and put in a few more winning days like today!!
O yeaa I never did blog about my PLO session last week, I played for a little over 23 hours and put in 32k hands, actually was my longest online session ever!!! Was down sooo much money at plo100 but finally ended up!!

After a massive cooler finally swing back into the green again. Played about 6 Hrs of .25/.5 HU on UB +520ish. Very happy to be back in the positive and the BBJPs that ive been getting lucky on will give me some nice spending money in Vegas for my upcoming 21st.
Day 3 I did nothing, slept a bunch. today was day 4. I got up late (aka 12:30ish gotta get up earlier). I did a bunch of stuff around the house, went into town and got groceries, cooked meals, blah blah blah. Was pretty productive except on the poker front. I don't know where the time goes but I only got 3 hours in today.
I played pretty much everything, 100bb max/250bb max 6max/FR NL25 and some 50bb max 6max NL50 which is suuuuuuuuuuuuper fishy but I felt a bit uncomfortable playing it.

so I've kinda fucked up big time on this wiehgt loss bet. I've lost 9 lbs in the mont of september but I've gottne drunk about 7x so that's 700 bucks I put in the fucking account...
It sucks because my brother only got durnk once with me... So he only put in 100.
So I NEED TO WIN THIS BGET NOW and he is already looking kinda ripped even though his body fat % goal is crazy.
If I get drunk 7x a month that's fucking 4200 buccks I could lose at the end of this which is kinda ghey and would pretty much busto my roll at this time.

Went to the John Legend concert with my girlfriend. It was a real treat. A friend hooked up some tickets because his sister didn't want em anymore so she was just givin em away. As I suspected John Legend is a real artist and he really does bring it live. Niggas got some talent.

As for poker It had it's ups and downs. I broke even at 2/4 rush over 80K hands (lol). The standard brutal stuff happening. I lost count of the KK vs AA situations past the 40 mark. And I folded KK pf more times this month than the entire year. Ya I know that sounds bad but I feel pretty good about those ones. It seemed like I was getting great hands, Just my opponents got even better ones. So what can I do except just stop being a pussy and take my coolers like a man. I finished off the final day with another -9-10 buyin day.
I would say about 40-50% of my losses were actually my own damn fault of me being either an idiot who's mal-adjusting to the wider ranges and increased aggression or just plain monkey tilt due to not being able to handle the much bigger swings of rush and the fact that the money was starting to get to my head.
Gonna probably take a couple days off to clear my head and reeval my hands/play and rego.
I couldn't play much this month because of computer problems..but I ran well and played pretty good through out the month. Hopefully i'll be taking another shot at nl200 by the end of this month, im just looking to get a 10k roll first.
