so lately i've felt like i'm really not playing my A game at all in mtt's, for like the last 3 weeks. i'm playing bad and running worse, and my confidence is pretty low

i need a little bit of a change, and my schedule doesn't allow much mtt playing at this time, so heres what i did:

sent back the remainder of the stake to my staker, essentially put the stake on pause..

and im going to deposit about 2k to play $27 sngs and maybe 50NL... but probably just SNGs

so if you are a sng player, ill be donating at a table near you

Well got a BR of 330 and 40$ of rakeback. Gonna grind NL10 untill ive got 400. Shouldn't take too long=)

Well ok it wasn´t a complete week but whatever. Played roughly 5000 hands of NL10, up 15 buyins atm. Weekend was bad, i dropped 6 buyins while playing slightly drunk and angry after getting my bike stolen, but i made it all back today.

I´d like to keep better track at my progress and find any leaks, and i´ve been thinking about getting one of those programs you people keep flashin´ about here. Which program(s) is it? Does it cost money? Where do i get it?

ok..if u read my yesterday´s blog post u ll know that i was goin down to nl20...ok so i made 1 session i just hated it and destroyed some donks.

im goin back to nl50 but only 3 tabling now. yeah i know its kinda under rolled but if i go down to 750 its over.
if i have to go back again im gonna cashout the monnies and re evaluate my poker life.

I started uploading my DB cache on Pahud cuz I thought its a good thing,soon i realized it isn't.

After my last 400 hands went so shitty, losing flips and stuff, I decided to take a break for the night. Went downstairs, ate some food, watched the new Family Guy episode. Eating gave me some time to cool off, and I decided I wanted to play some more.

All of the following happened in a span of 48 hands:

Best hand wins!

Thin calldown FTW!

Pair + nut flush draw

Good turn / river (was probably ahead anyways)

Value push is goot

Decent recovery . Now I can go to bed happy .

I passed my thesis defense on Friday. It was surprisingly easy. Best day of my life.

So how did I celebrate?

Answer: By moving up multiple levels in stakes

I lost like $700 playing 2/4 and 3/6 (full ring) on Friday. But it was still the best day in my life.

Recovered like 400 tonight playing 2/4

I swear these high stake tables are anything but rock gardens. Every session I recognize at least 1 fish per table.

Somehow I didn't feel too focused, either. I couldn't take full advantage on either day.

I also played some casino blackjack earlier today. Bought in for $100, mostly $10 per hand, counting cards attentively, adjusting bet-sizes and deviating from basic strategy when necessary. I was up $1300 at one point. Eventually lost a bunch at craps, left with $850.

Can't complain too much.

I've been 12-tabling NL25 and NL50 for the past few days and I think this is one of my problems. I've cut it down to eight tables and I can notice a huge difference already in my play. When I was 12-tabling I was in mega robot mode and didn't have any reads on villains. I can write notes much easier now with eight tables and do some better reads. Couple hands into the session I already got two extreme badbeats but I'm up two buy-ins or so already. I'll post my progress later.

Found an insanely huge whale sitting with 5 BI's , playing extremely passive stationy, waited a few orbits before ended up bowling him over and getting all his money after waiting a couple hours :<

Well haven't gained much money but I've picked up quite a lot of knowledge in the last few days and weeks. Still grinding away at NL2 FR. I realized that I only really make any money when I'm bluffing or c-betting the flop and turn and that the best people to bluff are the regulars as you never know when a donk is going to push all in with his midpair of flush draw.

Iv also noticed that I stop thinking when I have a set with no flush on the table.

I've also moved from playing 4 or 6 tables to 10. I'm still board at times but I don't want to tile my tables in case I miss-click. Done it once, don't want to do it again. And if I did do anymore Id have no money to play with as I'm hovering around $65 atm.

I played some stud the other day using Daut's guide. I managed to break even but would slowly have been killed by the rake. It was a lot more fun than just grinding NLHE and made me think a lot more about what my opposition were playing. A lot of thinking and memory is needed so multi-tabling seems to be out of the question. But hopefully the brain work will help me in all forms of poker.

I'm also leaning to play Limit Hold 'em. which seems to be mostly about slow playing till the turn and then unleashing your monster on the population MUHAHAHAHA.... sorry got carried away. This is for EverestPoker as the SnG's that have a 10c prize pool are limit games.

On the note of Everest I'm playing there when I'm to lazy to care about playing well or on tilt. So I'm slowly building up some easy money to play with. One day I may make it to a cash game...

Well, During the holidays I've been waking up around 1pm-3pm everyday and just chilling,however after a good cash in the $2 tournament last week, i decided today i was going to woke up at 7am Australian time to play the hundred grand guaranteed. I managed to get to the 2nd level of money, earning myself $30 profit and pushing my bankroll over $200!

However, this is where the hard part comes in, i always planned on using the 20 BI rule when it came to ring games. However, I've only played about 500 hands total at NL5, and whilst i feel comfortable that i could beat it, i don't think I've necessarily improved my game that much from when i played NL2 (except for giving people a little more credit for hands).

So i need some suggestions from people with experience, is creeping up to NL10 really that bad and that much harder then NL5 that its worth getting a bit more experience there before jumping up? And how much experience should i need?!?!?!

I'm happy to say that I've made some adjustments to my game in 50nl fr and it somehow worked out well for me. Won back the 6bi downswing last weekend (it was all set over sets anyway). I just couldn't believe that I had that sick, sick graph that was embarrassing to say the least, I know I'm not a break even player at 50nl ffs. Now I've decided to stay at 50nl, still mass tabling more than ever.
session started with another set over set LOLOL lost a stack but never lost my cool and came out to win 4bi solid - just like in 25nl sessions.

well since i started nl50 rly crazy things happened.
i met f4zi and started talkin in msn and he told me some advices that improved a lot my game, ty very much f4zi. <3

i started this month in 1.2k
then i have a downswing and went to 800$ (b4 talkin w f4zi)
after his advice i get it to 1.3k

but this weekend was so hilarious, i mean 4 times top2pairs vs set...its rly shitty and kinda put my in very bad mood..
KK vs gs all in in turn...fun

so idk if its variance or what but it sucks, my br now is 850$ again and i feel like shit b/c i dont know if its my game or what but it rly sucks.

so im gonna go back to nl20 for this week, untill my confidence get back, i dont care bout the monnies so much, i care bout my game and im trying to fix all my leaks.

i have no shame in admit that maybe i was tilting and that i made some rly dumb moves.

i have no shame too in admit that i proly need help to make my game better.
i cant pay a coach now..so if any1 is interested in teaching me nl50 6max (lag style, im tired of bein a nit) i d rly appreciate it, i can pay profit over hands or make a gentlemen promise of payin back when i profit.
so i hope i become a better player b/c i feel like i was only takin buyins from rly donk people and not from decent players..it feels like shit.
