First of all I'm a very bad investment to be staked, i fucked some people out of money and I have every intention of paying them back even though it wasn't part of the deal I'm an honest person.
Second of all I want all of you to know that you should never long term stake me, I'm too shitty with my emotions sometimes.
All of this said, I'm pretty safe for some very short term investments.
Will any of you stake me to play like one session of $4.40 180 mans (Talking like 12 or so of them) The terms of the stake are you get the initial money back that you sent me (or whatever is left) + 50% profits
you can see my stats in for them on sharkscope, i used all of my searches out of boredom already but im pretty sure my ROI in them is ~90% or so
I'm running like... well i dont know who or what, just insanely. I cleared the deposit bonus, sso i got my 50 bucks. Bankroll at 400. Ok, lets take a shot at 25NL, cuz im bored. Just 4 tables, cuz im at my gf's place, and the comp sux hard /P2, lol?/. I played ~250 hands. I got stacked at the very first hand, AA vs QQ, fucker hit his quenn on the river. Oh well, if i loose another buyin, i quit, and rebuild @ evening. I didnt quit, i didnt have to. I won 5 buyins, bankroll at 499.88$. Ty, my Lord! I mailed to the support for the hand histories, if i get them, i'll post the graph. It's beautiful I guess no more poker today, cuz i'll take Andi /gf/ to a restaurant, go to a cinema, and after it, i will have a better program than poker
For the last three months I played a lot of poker on Stars with a 2ptBB/100 winrate (NL50 & NL100) and read a lot of stuff here, at LP.net. I have never been a poker genius, just a decent grinder with a dream of becoming a successful player one day. I have been fully concentrated on my game since mid November and grinded my roll up to 6300.
The other day I deposited $400 on Everest, cause I was staying at my friend's house and he's playing NL50 6-max on that site. I decided to join him while being there. Everest was my first room ever and the last time I played there was in August last year. Having in mind that I improved a lot during the last few months I decided to play there a bit. Games are a lot easier than on Stars so I actually did expect good results. At first I played NL50 SH until I boosted my roll up to $1k. Then I started 6-tabling NL100 SH and now my roll there is about $2750, after less than 2 weeks of play.
I honestly feel that it's the best time for me to finally build a good roll. Even though I have the Supernova status at Stars I'm not going to play this site for now, because I don't think I can beat the games there with a higher winrate than 2ptBB/100. I'm gonna stick to Everest for some time and grind NL100 until I reach 18k there. I know that's one strict BM rule, but I have to open up my game and start making moves and even now, despite having over $6k on-line, I'm scared to do it :[. Hopefully I'll stop playing 17/14 sooner than later and I'll switch to a more profitable style as soon as I feel totally comfortable with my roll at .5/1.
I'm definitely going to play at Stars again, but I'll probably start from NL200 there with a really decent bankroll .
To make this blog entry entertaining, here's a song:
after my sick sick downswing last month at 10NL FR i moved down all the way back to 2NL playing only 6 max.
after about four weeks of 8tabling 2NL I'm back up to my inital deposit of 200 =DD. my lowest point was having 10 dollars left in my br + two 1.75 18 man turbo sngs but i won out on both and never looked back since. the entire time i was probably playing somewhere around 26/18/4 so i've definitely gotten better at picking spots/playing standard for the most part. i'm continuing this grind up to 250 and then i'll take another shot at 10NL on stars. in the last couple of weeks i ran extremely hot at 25BB/100 but i hope i don't get too too comfortable playing here =)
Coming up in a few days, i have an internship interview with Ernst & Young and BDO, a couple of the most prestigious accounting/consulting firms in the world. if i make it on one of those two, i'll be working in New York over the summer, so that's definitely something to look forward to.
stomped all over me today. it was the single most humiliating thing that has ever happened to me, much like being verbally outwitted by a mentally challenged person.
I deposited $300 into doyles room and played a bit. hated the software so I degen'ed it up and hit the blackjack tables. I was going to martingale the sucker starting at $25.
First hand I'm dealt 19. I stand, dealer hits for 20.
Second hand I bet $50 and am dealt 11. I doublt down obv, and lose to the dealer who hits a miracle 21
Third hand dealer shows an ace and I'm dealt 16. "Would you like to buy insurance vegable? You might get fucked over!" I click no and dealer swipes my chips away showing AQ.
Fourth hand I bet my last $100 because of their dumb increment rules and I am dealt 14. I'm too scared to hit and bust, I just want to get even at this point! So dealer shows 16 and hits a 4, for a total of 20.
Now I look at my cashier screen and see $36 I want to cash out. Their minimum to cash out is $50 obv and I just said fuck it. put it all on 1 hand and ran it up to $120. I've learned HARD from previous blackjack sessions to quit while you still can. I take it and try to cash out within less than an hour of depositing. Then I receive this glorious e-mail :

-----Epic life tilt. I mean if you're gonna take my money, at least have the decency to not give me a chore to do. Fucking facist chodes. Lesson: Stay away from those tiny poker rooms! they're more trouble than they're worth.
This isn't something new, it's a theory I've been working on for the last 12years of my life. I started working in the family business of landscaping and construction when I was 8years old. Hey it was about the only quality time I could ever get with my father and the money at the time seemed great. When you're a kid 200-300 a week seems like a million. Now I'm 20 and unloading trucks on the graveyard shift for little more. I have the back problems of a 50year old and the moral of a 65year old that just realized he going to have to work till he's 75 if he ever wants to retire without losing everything he owns to bills. Oh well more on this later, due at work in 13mins.
So as my downswing continues, I was hoping I might put up some of the screen shots I got from Poker EV and PokerGrapher so that some kind soul who actually knows how to read the things might interpret them for me in lamen's terms. I took as many different screen shots as I could, hopefully somebody can help me out and explain to me what they mean. Thanks so much...
The only thing missing is roughly 10k hands I played on my laptop at the PCA where I dropped about 8 grand. I tried to have pokerstars e-mail me the hand histories, but for some reason poker tracker wasn't able to handle importing that many files at once, so I wasn't able to get them included.
Anyways, I appreciate any responses as to the interpretation of these graphs.
I played a ~1500 hand session today morning. I don't want to waste any words on it, i broke even, it could've been much worse... Went to the university, the new semester just started. I will have some sick classes, my favourite one will be Genetical algorithms. I'm really interrested in those, i hope it will go well.
Anyway, i spent the afternoon & evening with my girlfriend, wathced some movies. If u want to see a SICK /i mean it, sick!/ movie, watch Taxidermia! torrent It's one of the few hungarian films, but it's really mind-blowing. I won't spoiler it, it's worth a try.
My gf sleeps now (it's 1:26 AM here), and i decided to play an other session. Let the pictures tell everything:

Haven't updated this blog for a while. I seem to be in the habbit of updating it once a month which i don't think its a good thing to do, so i'm going to try to post once a week. So were do I begin, oh yeah, i didn't have the nicest January when it came to my win rate, and i ran below my win rate but who the heck doesn't somethimes. This month started off pretty sweet so far, so i hope it keeps up. Ummm... I'm a little pissed because my main hard drive on my computer completely fucked up, meaning all my pokertracker dabatases and my stars notes of players are all gone Man do i hate when that happen, so i had to install a fresh windows on my other hard drive. I had a lot of important files on that hard drive, and now it wont even boot, its completely fried. Oh well, thats technology for ya.
I did ok on my exams and got some tests coming up with i want to do well in so studying for those. TO tell you the truth, i'm starting to love nursing, because its just so darn interesting. My plan was to move back to 200nl on Feb1 but plans change and i'll stick to 100nl for a bit longer since i don't have that much time to play these days.
Valantines day is coming up. Guys, don't want for special occasions to tell your lady you love them and care about them. Valentines day is such a corporate holiday that just wants to spend money. Open doors for them and and pull out their seet so they can sit down when your eating dinner, give them hugs and kisses year around and make them feel special every time you see them. All the little things add up and go a long way. Give your lady the respect and love she deserves. Don't take them for granted. Being a dick year around, and getting them something nice on Valentines day isn't going to cut it. Anywho, those are my 2 cents.
I would also like to thank my brother for all his help and suggestions towards my game. That knows his poker and he knows it very very well. So thanks again.
For laughs and giggles, i got borred and i took a picture of my bro with my iphone and i edited it on my phone as well. Sorry Tom, i still love ya.
P.S., sorry for all the spelling mistakes, downloading MS office atm. Take care.
I was tired playing 10nl so i just played some hu on 50nl yeah its neilly time all over again. But this is not the main thing i want you to say.
About 30 minutes ago "AlgeSeetang" sits in and he starts to go allin. After the second hand he does the same. Then the third hand etc. So every hand he went allin. I just waited to call the premium hands and by doing this i ended up 525 bucks for only 20 minutes play. I also chat with the guy he seems to me a very decent guy that just was bored. Normally he played at 400NL he said.
Yesterday I just ran like shit and spewed quite a bit losing $230. Today I played better and ran decent. The result was pretty good ended +$105 after a hour and 10 minutes. Heres some of the hands I lost/won today.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/378514 This guy was playing pretty tag and everytime he's had QQ+/AK he 4bet pf or just shoved. Also I've 3bet him and raised him on flop a lot also stacking him twice before this happened.

This is just a calling station but I've seen him minraise bluff or with a weak hand. When he bluffed he just checked behind on turn and he'd bet really weak with 2nd pair or tpnk. Since I hit an ace I knew I had the best hand and was gonna shove river anyway the 10 just made it more difficult for him to call but he did anyway.
