Selling coaching hours for low limit players!by BigRed0000, February 29
Hello potential clients,
I have decided to try to help the micro stakes players here, and maybe make some rent money while i'm at it . I am selling hour long coaching sessions at NL 50 and NL 100, we can play Full Ring or 6-max, but my FR game is better than my 6m just so everyone knows.
Why should you buy lessons from me? Well, I may be a lowly 1/2 FR player, but I have beaten NL 100 and NL 200 FR for a good amount over a large (125k+) sample size. I've also beaten NL 50 6max for quite some time.
I am currently being coached by none other than LP's low stakes hero advice giver [vital]Myth, and have been for the past few months. So most, if not all, the advice you get from me will be practically straight from him!
Prices are as follows :
NL 100 - 1 hour of coaching - 80$
NL 100 - 2 hours of coaching - 150$
NL 50 - 1 hour of coaching - 40$
NL 50 - 2 hours of coaching - 70$
Coaching will be done over Skype and unyte links. If anyone is interested you can PM me here on LP.net. I look forward to helping many of you. Thanks.
Well no graph since i've played without PT many times, many hands didn't record so it wouldn't be accurate at all.
I've played more 6max than HU i think this month actually, I'm up ~17k, in the meantime I have 40k stuck on Battlefield Poker, boohoohoo, I hope everything is going to be fine. I probably played only about 60k hands this month, I've been truly lazy, gotta put some more next month.
80k hands for March! and hopefully win at 5/10 lmao
Hi, these will be the last time I post any stats for the month. I just don’t find the relevance in posting how well/bad I do each month. It doesn't make me a better poker player by any means, if anything it’s just to brag so this will be my last results stats post. I didn't play many hands this month as you can see because I was studying for tests and focusing on school, but i still tried my best to play as many hands as possible while my mind was focused ( no point playing when your tired = bad decisions ). I also plan to move back to 200NL in Mid March, and my brothers been teaching me so much over the past couple of months, so I would like to thank him for that since hes trully an amazing player. So a million thanks to Tom, if you read this. From now on I’m going to focus on hands and decisions that were difficult or that I had trouble with and post those instead of stats. Sorry guys.
I'm going to help one of my good friends move tomorrow to his new house, and going to watch the UFC fight later that night, getting some people over. Who do you think will win?
Today is double VPP day so i played 8.5k hands.. i cant play more or i'd be goin insane. poker isnt like any other jobs obv. gotta focus every second. lol
this month is pretty harsh. i went on a 30k breakeven stretch at beginnin of month. and i just got out of a 20k breakeven stretch tonight. lol. i think thats the reason i didnt get 100k hands this month. i dont play when i think im playin bad or tilting
repulsive don't read if ur a pssyby Cro)Deadman, February 29
at 23:45 i cracked my tooth which was open for some time,it literally cracked but didnt break cuz its a six with has 4 legs (if you know what i mean),apparently on the side where it cracked in that cannal blood piled up.
Unecessary to say this was tilting me since im a huge pussy and I can't stand if something or someone is annoying me I absollutely need to get rid of it.
So at about 3:30 am (10 mins ago) I sucessfully pulled out the part of the tooth that cracked with using a sick combination of toothpicks, pincers and mirrors.
I obviously missed my profession, shoulda been a dentist.
P.S. it really hurts like hell lol :D,but relief feels so good, fuck monday and visiting the dentist can't hurt more then this what i just did.
Just wanted to world to know,Im actually extremely proud.
Well not so Fab
But it started of me raping NL50, but then as usual ive reached 1900 dollars n started to loose again, fucking mind block. http://spets1.googlepages.com/08FebStats.JPG
As you can see ive played headsup. Ill look more into that. Next month.
Went broke end of january cus i was playing tournaments and sngs way outta my stake... took a week off then got a stake from a friend to start actually grinding up correctly. So Here is how i did im happy to say i got from 5NL to 25NL in 1month that made me happy here is my PT. Kinda brag im proud i actually had some dicipline. Hopefully these are signs of a bright poker future
Since cash games don't go my way recently i've decided to switch to tourneys and mtts (standard). I feel like there's a goal to attain: be the last man standing and overcome a large field of players.
While i think there's a huge part of luck involved, i find them mathematically interesting, you have to seize your stack every hand relatively to the pot and the other players' and some decisions are made that you would never make at cash games. What's very interesting is when you have a large stack and you start to bully the whole table this is really fun, reminds me when i was in school as a kid and i used to bully that poor skinny guy ... good ol' times.
So i think im gonna focus on these and if i feel like going to the casino i will probably go back in the coming weeks since it's so profitable. I really love this game, it's such a complex and interesting game i think a lifetime wouldn't guarantee you know everything about it. Millions of situations, choices and outcomes possibles it fucking blow my mind. I can't stand how some players are gifted at it but im obviously not but i don't care since im having a lot of fun.
Anyways here in Canada the snow is still annoying the shit out of me and put me on perma-tilt and when i think it will last for an additionnal month i want to fucking blow my head off, my wife and me think we won't stay here and probably go back in France in a couple of years since this country is so damn snowy and cold, we are not used to 5 months of it. We'll be french-canadians so we will be able to switch whenever we feel like, which sounds good imo (taking the best of both).
If we have kids meanwhile, they'll have both nationalities and will be able to do the same. Now i need to get out of my house because my lovely half needs to make some grocery, but first i need to fucking remove all the snow in front of the house so i can drive her to town... fuck you winter.
Here are some stats of my tourneys adventures, i think i have an edge (small) at 180s 4$ and plan to grind them for a bit just out of curiosity.
NL200 was mix of beats ( beginning of the month )and some bad play at the end of the month when i wasn't so concentrated as i should be and i was playing cause i just wanted for a change to play on PS
Finally played a respectable amount of hands for a month. Made about 20-22 buyins @ 50nl over 16k hands or so. I plan to start playing at least 30k hands a month
Hit goldstar, and am just going to do the point cash in as much as possible
Looking at apartments with friends right now, found a really nice one right on campus for 310/month(sick price).
Hello guys my name is Mark P... I started playing poker 6 months ago with 5 dollar SnG's then started playing 25NL for 4 months and hte last 2 months ive switched to 50NL. The last 7 days i think i can crush 50NL now, i think i won like 75% of my sessions 4tabling.
I played 25nl for about 4 months before switching to 50nl, also lots of cashing out buying in etc going broke bad BRM. I've gotten past that and im starting to build my roll without cashing out.
Im following a 10 buyin rule but i always buyin for half the stack, so in reality i have 20 buyins... i think when i reach 1k ill start buying in for fullstack and then move up in stakes. I reached my first grand and thought i owned 50NL very quickly. But i cashed out and lent around 400 bux and then lost the rest of my BR slowly on tournaments/cashgames. I rebought for 50 last week and ive been crushing 50nl since then. My roll is at 600 and im not gonna cahs out till i get my br going more.
my goals in poker is to become a high stakes player 2000NL++ etc...... and be sucessful. I know im gonna need a ton of luck and skill but were gonna find out how far i can go. Two things that stand in my way are my Parents and School. I've done really well on 5 -15 dollar tournaments of 100-150 players but I rarely play those now cuz of school (16 units) plus parents interrupting etc when im 3 hrs in!!! I always paly at friends house now just to get away from my parents. My parents are not fully aware im playing with any money... but hopefully ill convince them this summer to let me move out, by getting a part time job.
All in all, I'm happy with my results and the amount of hands I played. On Everest I'm able to play 6 tables at once so to make 2k hands in one day I have to play over 5hrs. I started off really great, but eventually I had to encounter some downswings, thus the 2nd part of the month is swingy as hell.
On a side note, my roll reached over $7200 and I'm eagerly awaiting March (I hope I'll reach 10k by the end of the month, yay!).
Non poker-wise, tomorrow in the morning I'm going to Mikolow (a small town in Poland) to play in a nation-wide pool billiards tournament. I still play A LOT and improve greatly so I have a little higher expectations of my performance in the tournament. Hopefully I'll reach the play-off stage, which would be a great achievement (it means advancing to the top 64). Regardless if I make it or not, the most important thing is to play my best. If the opposition will be too tough for me - no big deal, not my fault . I'll just have to keep on "grinding" at the local pool hall and try again in April .
