So my best friend woke me up at 9:00 today to go into the city on a quest that was a total failure. so we ended up drinking lots of coffee in the café's. lounging outside on the cushions at the terrace. eating readymade sandwiches. reading magazines and papers. it felt good to get up early for a change, fail at something (standard) and still have a very relaxed morning. it was very much what we always do , except it was @$%(&@#%((&2 before lunch.

so i started playing around 13:00 which is pretty standard. only thing is. i had 2 cups of espresso before starting on the sandwiches and 1 after. this is not cool. i'm so anxious. i know this is not very manly. believe me i can hold my coffee but having them on the empty stomach is apparently a big NONO for me..
..it just makes me want to stack off so bad.. so i only played a couple of hyperaggressive shortsessions. like 15 minutes and decided to work on other stuff. i have a few small projects that i want to get going. a little online shop for socks - will tell more later - and i'm trying to pick up some writing jobs, which is what i'm supposed to be qualified for (i'm doing it not because i ran bad but because i miss some creative outlet). probably what lead to this daily torture of you guys in the first place. so clearly it would be good medicine for me.

Getting FPPs at microstakes is a total pain in the ass. It's bullshit. I played for a few hours today (first proper session in a long time). How many FPPs did I have? 226. How many did I have after 2k hands? 226. What the fuck is going on? I was under the impression that when you participate in a pot that is a certain size, you qualify to get FPPs. Fuck PS they can lick my nuts. I'm not even half way to unlocking my first deposit bonus after playing some 30k hands. Can anyone say WTF with me?
Anyway, like I said this was my first proper session (i.e. playing many hands and me actually winning) in a long time (couple of weeks or more possibly). In those last few weeks I was running like total dog shit and could not win for the life of me. I lost some ~10 buy ins at NL5. You all may think that is a joke because its like 50 bucks, but to me it means a lot. It's a significant fucking part of my BR. So now I'm back down to NL2. I digress. Like I was saying, today was the first fucking day that I've started winning again. After maybe 3 hours I was up ~5 buyins (at NL2. lol?). I grind grind grind building slowly but surely, and then it's all taken away before I can blink. Waste of fucking time? Maybe? Get my game more under control? Yes, I should definitely. Know when to quit? I usually do, but not today. So I ended with +1.5 buyins. Which is good considering I'm actually + for once. But it's also ultra gay because I could have had +5. Seems my journey to NL10 is going to take much longer than I anticipated.

I got a few very bad coolers and generally things were just NOT going my way. getting my bets raised by nits in an annoying frequency
and by idiots with hands. i probably got bluffed a few times too. in the end i wasn't playing that well anymore. ended up a little down thanks to some big donations (calling my 3bet with 79o in position and shoving the JQx flop over the c-bet and such).
Then a girl i like a lot called me and asked what i was thinking about her essay. So i tried to help out and go over it but it was a fucking difficult subject and she's a little difficult (stubborn) and all of it was giving me a big headache and i guess i was still tilted (and not very patient), cause now she's mad at me. so as we say: i'm running pretty bad today.
to end thing on a better note. i got a t-shirt customized with this print (see below) and hope it get's shipped next week. it was rather expensive to get this done. but i want to check what kind of quality they can print. if it's good work, i'll get more custom designs and do a lot of t-shirts at once.
K, enough of this useless whine nobody gives a shit about. I have some good news too. Yesterday I noticed that George Carlin performed a new HBO Special :D. Not as funny as the old ones (especially "Playing with your head" - IT'S A FUCKING MUST, IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT YOUR LIFE CANNOT BE EVER COMPLETE), but still worth a look IMO.

Right now I am sitting at the university in Nuremberg, waiting for some friends to finish their presentation so I can get a ride home to Erlangen, so this will rather be a bad uninteresting blog entry.
Poker has been going soso in the last time. No graphs avaible here, but my overall winrate at NL200 is only like 2BB/100 over 50k hands. I definately have some minor tilt issues, but the main reason is probably the lack of fish.
I really try to table-select, but in a long session the fish usually get busto and the tables fill up with regs. I really don't like playing against regs since I don't have a huge edge over them and they are hard to extract value from.
Now, I am not a degenerate, but I self-excluded myself from playing on stars over the time shift of 30 days. Reason is that my exams are coming up and I really need to concentrate on the university stuff right now, because till now I rather was chilling, hanging around, partying, doing sports and of course playing poker . The semester already is running 8 weeks and I am up about 11k USD which is nice as hell, but still do I consider my degree more important, and poker distracted me a lot.

-made new database/cleaned up comp/started looking into new desktops
-played elsewhere (not gonna go into detail about other sites except maybe playing live sometimes)
-came back to stars and debated but decided again not to deposit
-started back up and ran good at stars
