so i graduate university in a few weeks, still hasn't really set in though.
i just finally finished what was a week-long moving process to a new apartment in a more rural part of New England. I'm pretty excited about it. I have to take a summer class to complete my graduation (but I still walk/get diploma etc., its sort of on the honor system), and I decided in an effort to make my life and the world better that I would bike to campus. Where I now live is about 16mi. away and it's going to be tough at first but I'm fairly good about routines and I presume that after the first month the "route" to class will become easy on me physically.
I have a good friend who's into cycling so on his tip I picked up this bike a couple weeks ago:
A Cannondale Synage. It's the only company left that hand-makes bikes inside the USA, which I appreciate, and it has a sick good warranty program (unlimited lifetime work at the place of purchase), so basically I should never have to buy another bike unless somehow this one gets mega outdated or the bike shop I bought it from closes down, which is unlikely in New Hampshire (healthiest state in the Union!)
I've been doing some 10 mile rides around town getting more familiarized with my surroundings to get used to it, and it's been pretty fun. The weather has been great which has of course helped. The bike ran me $1,400 including a pump, locks, and riding shorts. I hope that with the gas money I save by riding the bike should "pay for itself" by the time next winter rolls around. I also must admit that I'm not 100% on when to switch my gears for the front and back but I'm hoping with experience I'll figure it out.
Pokerwise I didn't put in too many hands this month and experimented with a lot of different game types. I'm mega bombed with school given finals are comping up and I just want to do it right and get out of here so I can start my life. My results were (as per usual lately?) lackluster, but to be honest I think I probably did better than I should of given my mindstate and approach to the hands I played this month. Here's a graph:
This summer I'm hoping to hit up Vegas, Toronto, San Antonio and Nantucket for some vacationing/family visits. If anyone is into cycling in the area and wants to go for a ride I'll probably rent a bike in a few of the locations, and am definitely brining my bike with me to Nantucket.
ya so i ran $75 into $10600 before losing it in 48 hrs, im a retard.
so heres what happened, w/ a 5k roll i sat at nl1k with 1k on two different tables. on one table i get stacked over and over by a good tag reg, and on the other a player named raiden030340934 sat in.
i crushed raiden for roughly 10k in that hour, and since he was making such marginal plays and seemed to be on tilt i asked if he wanted to go to 25/50, hoping to get a huge score on this day.
Well, when we got to 25/50 he hits a set of two's vs my TPTK, a set vs my FD which i had alot of FE vs his reraising range...
all in all i would say that my hu game has become 20x stronger than ever.

Funny thing is i dont feel bad at all about losing that money, I grasped alot of new concepts in the past couple days that will make me alot of money in the long run.
so since i won that MTT, i was more or less rolled for nl25. but! i lost like 5 BIs and was like "man fuck this..i'm not gonna win anything". so instead i started playing SnGs instead (plus you don't get raped by rake, this is on ftp). anyways, i played 12 games tonight and i'm up $68 (i lost 2 $6 HUs on flips)
I put my last $75 onto stars yesterday and have ran it up very well.
I'm paying atleast 1-2 people off each day until my debts are gone.

I don't remember what happened with that but after paying back debts + running bad initially I was down to $50 and i thought my standard poker practice of going busto was eminent but i hero grinded nl25 with my remaining money at a max of 4 tables until I had $350 or something, lost that down to $100 or something again by being my fucking worthless degen self. I won a $2 6max tournament somewhere in there, and from that day I've been grinding and taking the game seriously.
I'm currently uncomfortable with nl100 because I can feel myself begin to tilt when i play there and tilt for me could result in a catastrophic collapse of my br. I'm just gonna keep taking shots there till i have a roll that comforts me. My stats are pretty much as expected from all of my previous experience at them. I crush the game hardcore and if I can just apply some good old fashioned discipline I know im good enough to beat nl200 or higher for a living and not fucking have a job.

Damn I'm so tired right now. I really want my vacation time to arrive soon. I don't think I can continue like this for many more time.
Right now I have two job, thanks god I love both. But I'm quitting the one in the tourism agency to start working with advocacy in my father's office.
My 'side' job, that I really like, is liquidpoker. I doing some services for the brazilian site, like translations (lot's of them), taking care of the forums, trying to come up with new stuff and other things to make the site more attractive for whoever visits it. I'm probably going to do some minor stuff for lp.net as well, but the focus is the brazilian one.
I'm glad because like 1 month ago the site was kinda dead, it had visitors but they pretty much didn't post. Now they are posting a little bit more. Not as much as I'd like them to, but I'm definitely with good hopes for the best.
Appart from those two jobs I study law and practise tennis and tai chi (iaaaaa!). So everyday I get up 5h30am, then alternatively practise tennis/taichi. After that I prepare breakfast for my family, and study or do some stuff for the site. Then I head to the tourism agency and stay there until 2pm. After that I go home and do stuff for the site again. Around 6h30 our 7pm I go to college. When I arrive home around 10pm I do some more stuff for the site or study for college, depending on the needs. Then I sleep and wake up at 05h30 again.
The problem is that I can't really control myself to sleep at like 10h30pm or 11pm. I usually go to sleep by 12. Then it's a vicious exhausting circle that I don't know how to stop.
On top of that, on the weekends I'm so fucking used to waking up early that even if I arrive 4am from a party I wake up at MAXXXXXXXXXXXX 10am. And If I don't go out I wake up 6h30 or 7am. It's sick. I mean, I really like all the things I do, but it's so exhausting.
When I move from the tourism job to the office job I'm definitely going to have more time for myself, and a little rest too, because I won't have a rigid schedule on the law office.

Last week has been great funwise. There was an event that lasted a week called FENART in my city. So lot's of parties everyday (yes, instead of working/studying after college I went to FENART). Had lot's of fun with my friends. It's so fucking funny to hang with them.
One of them tolds us this history:
He was together with his brother buying some dvd's in a small box on the street. It was a "DVD store". Okei, little after an oldman (you can pic him like this) arrived and asked:

Been grinding online once again, trying to log in enough hands this month so I can keep my supernova status going on PokerStars. It's really weird to be grinding online again after playing in some of the softest games ever in Vegas. Been doing fairly well for the most part. Today I decided to be a semi-tournament donk and entered the Sunday Million ($530) and my first WSOP Main Event package satellite. The Sunday Million went as usual, I got about 2 hours deep in it then got a bad beat to lose half my stack and proceeded to think it was a good idea to just punt off my last 15bb's instead of waiting for a hand like I am suppose to. Whatever. My main event satellite went a little bit better...
Ship it? Sucked out early to stay alive (K9 vs AQ), and from there all my hands held. For the last hour and a half of the tournament I had yellowsub86 with the chip lead to my direct left. It was gross, since once he got a hold of a big enough chip lead he started to open shove every hand for shits and giggles. The bubble lasted a solid 30+ minutes, and finally ended when it was folded around to the small blind who was the shortest stack at the table as he shoved right into my QQ. Sickest hold ever ftw~! Cool thing about this entire thing is that peachy is still going to be staking me for the main event (he's staking me for the entire WSOP series) so I get to pocket the cash. Sweet bankroll booster.
Other than that, things have been chill in my life. I surfed around today and found that I am still in the top 100 Player of the Year on Cardplayer.com, ranked 54th for Bluff Magazine's Player of the Year, and I'm 39th in Bluff Magazine's "Hot" Players. Reminds me of the my starcraft days when I use to care about my ladder rankings on WGTour. Hopefully WSOP will boost me up these "ladders". One last thing before I go...

well, since my last update im down like 700 in cashgames playing nl100 heads up and being a stupid degen with no br management.
Down $100 from $16 sng because my internet went out... just as i had started the 15th one and when i got it back up i had 2-3 bb on every table and managed to scrape together only a 100 dollar loss.
everything is crashing down around me and i dont even wanna play anymore, so im just gonna play some light poker for a while.
In more exciting and cool news I'm back at my home and have been having a great time with family/friends. I've been doing a lot of cool stuff and fishing a lot which is sick relaxing and de-tilting.
Today after losing $25 playing random things in poker i decided to go fishing and work on my pale ass skin and go towards my summer tan. So I took my shirt off, I grabbed my phannypack-esque tackle box, I grabbed my fishing pole and I headed to my favorite local pond that I've fished at since i was 14 or so.
I got there and fish were popping around EVERYWHERE on top of the water but i couldnt figure out wtf they were, i could see what they were eating which was some type of small bug but besides that i was really lost. So i instantly tied on a top water lure called a buzzbait and got nothing. This convinced me it was something like a perch or something, but i was still curious so I tied on a spook which mimics a dying fish on top of the water. The perch went crazy on this thing and they kept snagging themselves on the hooks which was HILARIOUS but really annoying and I don't fish for perch anyway because they are stupid/gay/worthless/notbragworthy/ugly/easy/etcetcetcetc. I also wasnt catching anything later on with spinnerbaits or anything so i gave up and decided to head home.

So as im leaving im about 4 feet away from the gravel road that leads me out of the place and my truck starts to sink into the mud and fuck i knew my fate before i even stopped moving. I popped it into reverse and sure enough FUCK i'm stuck. I started slamming it into 1st gear and then into reverse wrapping the fuck out of my engine but no luck, i'm stuck. I call my buddy and he comes and we tie a chain to his hitch and the hooks on my bumper and I finally get out.

So it's been an year since I went to this beach of the post below. It's fucking awesome there. If you wanna go to a paradise beach without spendind what you would spend in Caribe for example, then go to Fernando de Noronha in Brazil.
I'm not studying as much as I'd like to. I'm very very very busy right now, but things are going to get better around may, when I'm quitting my current job (I work in a tourism agency) to focus on college, working with my father and working for lpnet.
Ya, I started doing some work for lpnet a couple weeks ago, and hopefully I'm gonna be able to help them as planned.
Dunno if I'll post again soon but I felt like doing so today and thats it.
