since i gave myself a 1 week ban on stars, i decided to play in the easiest home game ever. of course blinds are .25/.50 so people buy in for around the $10-$15 range. i buy in for $35 and i brought my brother along and he bought in for $20. we both more or less nitted it up while they were putting %50 of their chips in to fold on a blank turn. basically me and my brother cleaned out the table and we were the only ones who left with money (one other person cashed out but he was -$20
when i'm playing vs super agro retards who raises/3bet pushes every hand, i finally get a hand like 88-1010 or something and get it all in preflop only for them to have KK/AA
So here are all the details on the laptop I am thinking about buying. If anyone has any great last minute suggestions that would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise at the end of tomorrow I'm going to down kick the $4,000 to get this baby built and shipped to me.
On another note, congrats to mig.com for getting 4th in the $5k at Bellagio. Also congrats to peachy_keen for getting so deep at Monte Carlo. Still got a friend doing well in Monte Carlo right now, so everyone better sway all your luck to Micheal Martin (Martine23) for tomorrow's final table. I know mig, Daut, and Nazgul are going to want to see their horse pick up that $3million+ score.
I played my first session of online poker in like 3 weeks today... boy it felt weird. Just kind of strange playing with regulars that actually know what they are doing. I think I'm going back to Vegas this weekend and try and satellite into the $25k main event. If I don't win myself a seat I'll probably end up playing the 10/20 NL since those games are probably going to be so sick soft. Hopefully things will continue to go my way. Wish me luck! Decided to make a random blog post caz it really tilts the shit out of me everytime I log onto LP.net and I have to see milkman's ugly mug on the featured blog front page. The man doesn't even smile! Who wants to look at that, let alone read his random crap! GG ur life milkman. So anyways, more on topic, I need a laptop for the summer and I really want to get a good high end one so if anyone can direct me to a good website where I can order one please let me know. I'm looking into Dell right now and am kind of curious about their 20" laptops that look sick baller (kind of like a mini-desktop pc). Alienware also has some pretty sick looking laptops as well. I've never been a big fan of apple computers, but the MacPowerBook might also be an option I'm looking into. I'd like to know what you guys think. If you can, please post comments / links or whatever to laptops would fit my needs. All I want is something that I can carry around my media on and play poker easily.

I might go back to Vegas to play some of the 10/20 while the main event runs, or if peachy is willing to put me in it, play in the main event myself. That would be one hell of an experience. I got a lot of options but some are less attractive than others, probably will end up getting a chill place with Lyric and Pavel or do something like stay at the Wynn for a month and a half.

Ok so when i started with 8 dollars left on my acct from april 2005 i got back on stars in nov to try it out again with the 8 dollars i started grinding the small tables and tourneys from nov to current my profit is 960 i placed 8th in a 25k tourney last night and made a profit of 593.83 i bought in once and did the add on after the first hour of rebuys i was very dissapointed i didnt get first place in the tourney but hey 70 dollars an hour for 8 hours is cool with me for now im sure ill have my first place in that tourney soon to come when i get the chances to play it my final hand that i got knocked out with was a coin flip and this was the coin flip i lost on the final table it sucked but oh well thats poker...time to move on up in levels and continue to play my best and be one of the best grinders from my little 8 dollar stack please leave comments i would love to hear from everyone

God, I haven’t updated in ages. So basically I shaved my head, I had pretty long hair before, so there is a difference:
I went over to visit my dad in Munich, Germany (No he’s not from Germany – he is ½ American ½ British). Which makes me ¼ American and ¼ British and ½ Swedish. Anyways it was alot of fun seeing my little brother and my twin sisters again, and ofcourse my dad and my stepmom too. My dad and I have alot of things in common, one of them is wine, so I brought a Margaux from 97 which we drank together – which was a decent wine, nothing very very fancy and I think it was around $100. I got a nice Bvlgari (read Bulgari) perfume for my stepmother, and some Wii sports rackets for my little brother.
Btw, if people want I can start blogging about various wines that I enjoy, and stuff to look for.
So I had a pretty strange night out in Munich. I went to meet a friend and his girlfriend (they are swedish, but his parents live in Munich – and we just happened to be in Munich at the same time). The two to the left
– the picture is taken from a swedish holiday called ”Valborg” when I celebrated in Uppsala, a univeristy city an hour away from Stockholm. It’s very big in Uppsala and in Lund, and the drinking is crazy. Its basically drinking 16 hours a day for like 3-4 days straight. This was from the ”Champagne” evening, where you buy Champagne and not really drink it but pour it over people. A really sick holiday in Sweden.
Anyways about the night out, so I went and met them and we started to drink some beer in an irish/australian pub in town. After a few beers I find myself needing to go the toilet, so I stand up and go over to the toilet, and outside of the toilet I see an old friend of mine whom I went to school with in Munich, so I say ”Hey – how are you doing”. He answers pretty casually ”alright”. So I was like, jeez what a dick. So I proceed to say it again, ”Hey man how are you”. Now he thinks I’m there to pick a fight with him, and I am a pretty big guy, and I was wearing an adidas England sweater/jacket. So I finally say, ”Alex, don’t you recognize me” – and then we started to drink together. So after a few hours my friends from Sweden go home, and I somehow meet this other swedish guy who is like 4-5 years older than me, and we went to the same school back in the days. So we’re standing in the stairs at the pub and out of the blue this swedish comes and says in swedish ”What – are you guys speaking swedish?? With a WTF expression on her face”. So we’re like yeah, and she says ”I’m here with two other swedish girls, come and sit with us”. So I’m like: ship it, and proceed to follow her to their table. My swedish friend seems to go to some other place and leaves me. So the girl in the stairs had a german boyfriends, but she was pretty ugly so it didnt really matter, and the other two were ok too. One was above decent and the other one decent (mind you – swedish standards). So I end up taking these girls to like 2-3 nightclubs and paying for their evening. So about $700 down for the evening I’m on my way back to my dads house, and I tell myself ”Chris, dont fall asleep like you always do, cos you got to go the airport soon”. 45 mins later I wake up on the train really satisfied when I look out of the window, because its my home town obviously. That happy feeling lasts for about 10 seconds when I realize I am at the last fucking station of my train line. So still fairly drunk and fairly pissed off of not shipping at least one of the girls (because of me having to leave for the airport), and being in a shithole town outside of Munich. I walk to the taxi that is closest and tell her to drive me home. My dad calls me and says that we have to leave for the airport in 30 mins. I explained the situation, and told him where I was and that I would be home in about 30 mins. I get home, go down to the cellar and get my bag, and leave for the airport with a cup of tea in the car.
This weekend was really sick too, I’ve been drunk since last Friday, and I woke uptoday pretty hungover, I missed out on the hangovers the other days since I started drinking as soon as I woke up. Ill update you guys about the weekend another day.
I think I’m getting into an iffy situation regarding the opposite sex, once again I’ll update more on that sistuation when I know more.
