April has been terrible for me. I'm exactly $3600 down this month with cash games and tournaments combined. I've been running really bad but the thing is that I believe I've been playing very decent.

It's like becoming a pattern that I run good one month and the next one bad. I don't know why because It's not like I change my style every month or something like that...

I don't remember having a session like today's before... It was just weird, tons of setups and suckouts. Had a few NL200 and NL400 tables going and I was very calmed down. Played about 1k hands but things just didn't work out.

I've been playing with Sweet.kr for a long long time and I remember him as a huge huge nit. This month, he has loosen up a little and plays 22/20. He was 3betting me light the whole day and insta 4betting me a lot of times... I've seen him make bad calls preflop like this time and the results are not different. He is a poker God.

I was 3betting this guy often enough for him to make a 4bet-tilt raise. I had him running at 24/21 so its not like I put my money in vs a huge nit. Plus his 4bet was huge so I was sure I had him preflop. Flop sucked, cause the only hands I beat were AQ+ and 99. Turn was awesome, AQ made the nutstraight and AK TPTK.

Standard and very gay I have to say it. Guy had like 10hands in the table and his luck to the max gave him a set over set when his seat was still cold.

UTG nit playing 10/10 over 120hands raises with AA and because of his nittyness, I 3bet him 4xhis raise with AA too. Very LAG player that I have a history with 4bets and puts half his stacks in. UTG instacalls and my thoughts were, because of my bad run and kinda dissapointed for the last beats, "AAvsKKvsQQ yay, lets see a KQx flop". Close.

I guess I'm gonna have to stop playing in April and play non-stop at May when my good run returns. Or stop at Stars and give other sites a try like Titan/ipoker. Definitely not FTP lol :D

Last month I played a very low volume of hands and got good results in some aspects.

I roughly played 18K hands this month and barely mantained my Platinum Star status (10200VPPs). After winning some buyins at my tourney scores, I gave NL400 a real shot and even though I didn't get good results, I can say that I improved my game a lot, enough to destroy NL200. NL400 is way way harder than NL200 so I'm done with NL400 at least for April. Going to play NL200 6max and nothing else. In the last 2 days of March, I played about 5-6K hands and won $2.2K, so its cool

I also played some NL600 hands but left when my KK got cracked by A8s in a QJx, allin on flop, guy hit a flush. Standard.

So as for cash games, I'm really happy with my results cause my level has increased thanks to my NL400 experience.


In tourneys I did good this month. Could have done better at the Sunday Warm-up last week but my mom put me on super tilt when we were down to the last 2 tables and totally lost control of myself and I made a lot of mistakes when I had an amazing stack. She just didn't understand the situation that winning $120K was a very huge possibility. For her it was better to clean the fucking bathroom that was accidentally flooded (I don't know why) when we were sleeping. When we woke up it was flooded, lucky us with clean water. Anyway, Fuck bathroom problems and thanks mom for making me lose my chance to win $120k...

Some friends went with me to the mall to hang out and buy things. I bought a bunch of stuff because of my bday and we had fun. Then we had pizza while watching a soccer game.

During the night we head up to this club named "Studio" that I like a lot. I had tremendous fun joking and talking with my buddys. It ended a little early though (at around 2am) and I told a friend to drive my car cause I wasn't in the best conditions :D

Today, March 22th, is my 20th birthday. I'm gonna go to the mall and buy some things and in the night I'm going to get fucking wasted with a lot of friends at a club.

March has been awesome so far. I've played a very low volume of tournaments and cash games and they seem to be going on my way all the time. For some reason, I've been getting super bored of playing cash games that my sessions have not lasted more than 200-300 hands lately... Thats not good, I may need to speed things up because I have only made 3500VPPs this month and I don't want to lose my Platinum status.

Today I finished 5th at the $55 NLHE [1Rebuy/1Addon] for $1381 . My bustout hand was terrible and I regret for making that play. I guess I was playing way to fast because of all the suckouts I did to other players and the suckouts they did to me in just a few minutes. Anyway, it is still a nice cash.

I also finished 7th at a $16.50 Freezeout at Stars yesterday for $342 . I didn't run good at the FT, joined 5/9 with 25BBs and I got suckedout a few times, enough times to devastate my stack. Whatever, ship it!

I'm done with school and I will be on vacations until Monday 24th. Great.

I'm gonna have fun this weekend and play some intense MTT and cash sessions from next monday to next thursday, then i'll party the weekend and face my reality to go back to school.

It's good to be finally off school, this semester has been very difficult for me, subjects are hard and I haven't cared enough for them and I've failed a few months.

I'm trying to get into LAPT via steps and things have been going decent, Im in for like $150 and currently on Step 4.

My predictions were correct, March has been a good month so far. I've been very busy with school lately and I haven't played much because of this.

Also because I've been going out almost every weekend instead of staying home and play the Nightly 100k for example. I have also found the balance in life/poker/school I was looking for at the beginning of the year and that has improved my game a little.

As you can see in my PT stats, I only have 3000 hands lol but I have played them with joy, motivation and concentration, I've stopped playing just because I have to but because I want to.



I ran very good this weekend at tourneys. Finished 4th at the Daily Fify Grand for $5439 and almost bubbled the Sunday Warmup Final table. $3331 for a respectable 12th place finish. $8770 is very nice for a weekend uh :D Thanks to this, I'm breaking even now with my February results and a few cash outs I made. With PokerStars launching LAPT (Latin American Poker Tour), I would love to travel to one of their events and feel the experience involved in them. I don't care if I'm a fish or whatever, I know It'll be fun. The buyin is pretty low ($2500), compared to the U.S. or european tournaments, so I'm gonna try to satellite and If I don't make it in a given period of time, I'm gonna have to buy-in with my money. If I was planning to go to europe for vacations with my parents then I don't see why would spending money here would be a problem.

March has started good so far. Was $800 up at some point but made some very stupid plays and lost a couple of buyins. Putting that aside, I feel awesome, doomswitch free :D. Gonna put in a few hours tonight to watch CR videos to avoid making bad plays/calls.
