Not that amazing until you here how it happened. On Saturday she found a $20 bill crumpled up on the side of a the road. On Sunday she found another $20 in a bush in a store parking lot. This morning she found a gift card in a store parking lot that had $34.97 on it. Yes, three days in a row. Time to play the lotto?

Any Omaha grinders wanna exchange AIM/MSN names so we can chat about hands/strategy/spots etc. Not looking for a coach or someone to coach, just someone around my level, at least a breakeven player at PLO25 - PLO100 level. I'd also prefer someone that almost exclusively plays PLO.
About me:
I started playing Omaha 2 X-mas's ago and started online with a $10 bankroll at PLO2 in January '09. Moved up to PLO25 in May and PLO50 in July. I've been on a crummy downswing (20 buyins) since last Thanksgiving. I play on PS and FTP if that's relevant.

Let's say there is a situation in poker where it's something like $1 in the pot with a royal flush on the board and you're heads up. You're first to act. If you shove, a call from your opponent will be -EV since he pays more in rake than he will get from the chop.
Do you shove and hope he makes the +EV play so that you can pick up the free pot?
Or, if you check, do you fold if your opponent shoves or do you call out of spite?
I could never fold in this spot, even if a call is -EV. I'd probably lose more from the tilt of letting the guy get away with that.

I've had this problem with my internet a few months back where I would get lag spikes and disconnects like every 10 minutes. They sent a guy out and it seem fixed for a while. It started up about a week ago and has deteriorated very rapidly and now it's at the point where I disconnect every 2 minutes and takes up to 15 seconds to reconnect. I've been openmucking some quality hands preflop, so far AKhh, TT, 99, etc. Once I drop AA I'm gonna go Phil Helmuth on my ISP
P.S. yes I know it's dumb to play under these conditions. I'm only playing NL10 on Rush poker and I don't lose that much of an edge.
P.P.S. That's another awesome thing about Rush poker, if you time out you only time out at a few tables instead of a dozen tables.

How to not get scammed on paypal?

I hear that you should never do a transfer with someone that wants to give you paypal money in exchange for poker money. Can someone tell me how this scam works and if it can ever be done safely? There has to be some time frame that I can have the money for that eliminates the possibility of getting it back? Anyway I need to make such a trade and I need advice on how to not get scammed because it's been said constantly on this board not to deal with paypal.

That was kind of dramatic for my first car accident. Was riding home with my brother and his girlfriend for Thanksgiving on Tuesday. Along the way we hear this rattling and stop at a rest stop to see what it is. The best I could tell it looked like some paneling between the bumper and tire came lose and it was vibrating against the bumper. About an hour later we are on the turnpike in the left lane (2 lane road) and the car starts making this extremely loud noise like a jackhammer but more metalic (turns out a tire blew out). Kind of like if you put a piece of sheet metal in between gears that start grinding on it (saw this in some movie). Two seconds later we are veering off the road sideways at full speed knowing that we're not going to stop until we hit something. Fortunately there was very nice brush instead of trees or guardrail to stop us. We hit it and rolled a couple times and landed upside down.
After stopping I immediately unbuckle my seatbelt, completely forgetting about gravity and land on my head. I crawl to the backseat to help my brother's girlfriend, who is freaking out, get out of her seatbelt. I try to open the door but the brush is wrapped around the car keeping the door pinned in. My brother calls 911 and we chill for a couple minutes until a passerby who stopped opens the driver's door and we all crawl out. None of us had a scratch on us.
The first guy that stopped was actually in front of us and saw it through his rearview mirror and said everyone behind us just kept on driving. wtf is wrong with people.. He also took some pictures that he emailed me
Unstable internet

Anyone ever had an issue with unstable internet? Mine has been going in and out every few minutes when I play poker, pokerstars lists my connection as 20%-80% for most of the time when it usually sits at 100%. It's been doing this for about a week now, tech support didn't offer any help other than to reset my modem. Anyone know what this could be? my ISP is COX
Also, does this have to be a problem with the internet or could this be caused somehow by my computer with a virus or a lack of RAM or something?
