I guess at the very least, I'm pretty confident that I can stay here or very close to it.
really weird graph however you look at it X__X
Ended first session at around 2K hands, grinded my way back to almost breakeven.
Thanks to my new aim buddy (lol) edzwoo for extensive chatting/help, gororokgororok and Neilly for moral support, Tenbagger (who refuses to add me on aim ), Red9, Snider, dogmeat, and collegesucks (who thinks I'm a complete weirdo after I pm'ed him like a lunatic) for input on HH's that I posted. Very much appreciated <3
Also shoutout to Tenbagger, MiPwnYa and RainyDay who raped me on the tables today hahaha
I think overall I was playing pretty well, although bluffing stations a tad too much for my liking as well.
Currently struggling dealing with stations when I miss. OOP if I dont cbet they bet and I obv have to fold. IP if I dont cbet they lead into me on turn and I fold. Mmmmm, probably need to tighten up and play more broadway type hands and call down for value more often? Stop opening / isolating with tons of junky small sc type hands? See flop for cheap then build pot when I hit? Guess I'll keep experimenting.
I also suck when someone limps, folds to me in the bb, I have air and check, they take down pot on flop. Not sure if I should just let them have it, or whether I should be bluffin'... but honestly this isn't as big a deal to me as the station problem. I'm not even sure how I suck so hard vs 90/10's and 60/20's.
Anyways, here's the graph. Played from 4:30 am to 10am'ish with a break in between, then brain crashed and I slept from 11am -7pm then started watching SC with a friend so couldn't get an evening session in but w/e. Hopefully I'll wake up early again and get 4-5 hours in before noon tomorrow.
I intended to start NL100 today, but having taken a 4 hour exam and reviewed my errors, needing to do an assignment in the next hour, and having a 2 hour class thing right after that, I've concluded that this really isn't the time to be challenging my game.
I dont think I've taken a single day off in February, my sleep schedule is all out of whack, I think I'm going to take the day off and try to get my sleep back in order and try to wake up in the AM for once and start the day early tomorrow, esp since I actually like playing in the mornings.
At the most, I'll play a 1-2 hr session at NL50 tonight, but I highly doubt my mind will be sharp enough to handle even that.
Grinded out some ups and downs throughout my session today. At times I was too passive, at times I was a donkey, and at other times I played pretty well. All in all, a +4.5bi day which I sincerely do think could have been better had I played my best throughout the day.
Today
Week 2
February so far
Moving on to NL100 tomorrow when/if I can find the time, kinda busy tomorrow with RL commitments . Also gotta upgrade my HEM haha~
First session where I was raping every living creature was interrupted by parents, which kinda sucked . (+5bi / 800 hands)
Stopped session 2 b/c I felt like I wasnt playing particularly well (in fact I think I was playing like shit, bluffing these 80/10 stations way too much), esp towards the end . (+1.5bi 1400 hands)
Results are nothing to complain about ofc :3
Will probably enter NL100 on monday, b/c I generally hate weekend play.
Cooler/Suckout/Monkeytiltspew session. Decided to just stop for today and resume tomorrow =/
NL50 lifetime
edit: talked a bunch with YK over aim, I'm ashamed to have tilted and moaned in such epic fashion =/. Leaving this up as a reminder (aka public humiliation) to hopefully restrain myself in the future.
I think my game's getting somewhere, despite the mixed results. I obviously have retarded parts of my game, exemplified by this hand, but I'm doing my best to open up more LP, and raise in spots I used to be weak money.
I think the main challenges will be:
* Dealing with steals when I'm in sb/bb
* Dealing with light 3betters(7-8%) when I'm oop (I'm MP, and BU 3bets, etc)
* Opening up to about 26/23'ish from CO/BU
Today's Graph
I was spazzing out so hard when these hands came within like 30 hands of each other right after I started 2nd session (resulting in that cliff)
