competitiveness
voodoouser, May 10 2008
I started playing poker 1 year ago and always been a "winning player", on UB i was winning and now on PS i'm still winning at a good BB/100. But i'm not a competitive person, i would like to be real more combative, having an iron will, dont give up that fast when i'm not confortable, simply my parents made me like that or that's how i made myself years after years... and i think that is why i will never be good at this game.
I start a session, if i win 1.5~2 buyin i say to myself "it's enough, dont risk losing what you already won" and most of the time i quit.
It's just so pathetic to think this way and i'm aware of it. I want to fix this but how? i have no clue, otherwise i would waste my time playing poker, that's so sure...
Maybe it's silly to fight against his own personality, i should just let it go but it's kind of weak to think this way.
I'm not whining at all, i thought about it during last days and just wanted to write it somewhere.
If you want to give me your opinion go ahead it might help me.
Bye.

voodoouser, Apr 06 2008
I try to build a bankroll on pokerstars, i want to leave UB as soon as possible, not that i do bad results on UB but the pokerstars software/offers/fpp/rake%/multitabling is just too good.
Week1 nl5:

I hope i could move up in 2 days and maybe reach nl25 at the end of the month (who knows?).

% of wining vs losing players
voodoouser, Feb 11 2008
Do we know exactly what's the global % of wining and losing players at NL holdem in the long run?
I'm curious to know it.
I searched on google but i didnt found a solid number, some websites says 10%, others more or less.

I think i get it now... i'm not a poker genius so why make stupid bluff/moves?
Just playing ABC poker is the key for beginners imo.
Shit happens of course but in the long run ABC poker > bad beats.
1300 hands, never played that long before.
I need a good sleep
