  lachlan, Jan 04 2008

im moving up hopefully for good. but i guess i should shouldnt count my chickens before they hatch

yay fuck that shit, fuck that shit to hell. fuck bad beats and fuck coolers. and spew too

also beat this noob swing ^_^

also:

i was driving myself to work this morning in a car that is like this: white magna wagon

at this intersection not far away i had to turn right so i checked left and then right. no one was coming so i drove out. then i looked in the rearvision mirror and suddenly a car was really close behind, and it turned out to be my boss.

since i had to drop my sister off to work first, i went a different way then came back to work. when i got there my boss was complaining about this "fucking p plate driver" who had cut him off at an intersection. i didnt know if he was serious or not or whether he knew it was me but he was actually serious so i didnt tell him haha.

Hi LPizzle.net

im posting because im embarassed as fuck. this month i've played nearly 50k hands yet im not even up. most of it was NL10 but at the start it was NL25 aswell.

im starting to get really pissed off at losing on NL10 and i lost another 6 buyins today which has me really wanting to reconsider my game and so on. i think i was just running fine and so became lazy and stacked off with any overpair, etc.

so i am asking... no begging... no.. pleading that some of you who have annihilated NL10 before have a look at some of my hands and tell me your thoughts!

graph of december:

EV graph:

OK. Hands. for hands, i was thinking about picking out some good ones. but then i thought fuck it, i'll just post the top 10 losing hands with greatest net $ lost. but then i realised most of them are coolers or suckouts so here are the ones that i have myself to blame for (top 10).

Any comments on these hands i will treasure, thanks. just need to get my confidence back and try to see if im doing anything stupid and not realising it. also should stop selling my friend Pstars money for real cash, kind of hindering me and my mission to stay at 25nl

-exams this month. i battled a little... didnt do much work during semester so had to cram like crazy. got my results back and got one pass (4) two credits (5) and 1 distinction (6) so pretty happy, GPA of 5

-POKER this month. hmmm. made another $180 playing full ring NL10 but the biggest poker event was moving up to NL25. i think i did pretty good, but got jewed by variance... see this graph for proof!!

its no big deal i just wish i was running neutral

Whines!

This one pissed me off, i thought i made a real good call and still got river'd lol :|

October Reporting (>^_^>)
  lachlan, Oct 30 2007

played a fair bit this month, especially in the middle. had the biggest shitter of a down-up-down-up-down-up swing, just seemed to never end. my BR swung between $350 and $290 so many times it was pretty frustrating.

but i think i'm getting better now, folding alot more in the right spots, and not just donking away a buyin because i have KK on a board of lower cards.

i'd like to thank that northface guy as my inspiration to play every day.

October only:

Overall:

how do my stats look? i've been working on raising alot more.

OVERALL:

SINCE 2 WEEKS AGO:

any advice on what to aim for, with intent being TAG.

NL25 around the corner, PS BR at 430, going to wait til 500.

big thanks to the following people:

deadman, exalted, yugless, northface, kimseongchan, SugoGosu, Sakisaki, byrnesam, T8Suited, traxamillion, Kapol, pplusad.

and good luck to oddeye and his bankroll, bye for now

have had a massive downswing, KK vs AA so many times, and probably some bad plays and leaks as well. at my peak i was at $380 BR, now at $310, from a low of $280. hopefully i'll get better luck now and also get out of marginal equity situations.

Biggest pot #2
  lachlan, Oct 04 2007

I'm keeping a record of my biggest pot of all time, and so each time i break the record i'll post it here. My first post was in NL2, can be found here.

I've sinced moved up to NL5, then onto NL10, so it was only a matter of time. Pretty standard hand but ah well.

oh and by the way, i'd almost always raise preflop here, for whatever reason i didnt though as I was 12 tabling. However i think if i had raised pre-flop he would be less likely to call my all-in on the river

September summary
  lachlan, Sep 30 2007

Graduated from NL2 this month, managed 46k hands, went pretty good.

September specific graph:

The bit where it starts to go a bit more up-and-down is when i started NL5 lol. Managed to turn my downswing around though.

Overall graph (not much different since i started late August):

Haven't broken my biggest pot yet in NL5 but have come really close, since i'm 12 tabling NL5 with $10 on each table.

Aim for October: don't play too much since I have uni exams in about a months time. But I probably will play a bit anyway so wouldn't mind making my BR on pokerstars at $400, its currently at $225.
