hey guys, today we did the 270+30 wynn, got really deep but couldnt hit AJhh on 566hh board, took some time off and booked my first winnin session so far @ CG's. not huge but goin in the right direction.

Tried out the Mirage, loved it. nice $2 comp bonuses too

said fuck it, take live serious, took out a few bills intead of 1bi and yeah that worked well. lets keep it rollin.

1 hand i wanna go over, im not 100% sure how you guys would play this.

ep limps (hes quite tight) - limper behind, i decide to limp A6ss on 200bb cuz well hes tight as hell and betting almost every board. idk if he even has a raise range..

so flop comes Q92cc, i have A6cc, he pots the flop, i was in CO but had the button, i opted to flat the pot bet, turn 4d, he bets $45, he has $300 behind, i have him covered, whats your play?? call raise fold? all seemed good, calling bloats a huge pot and well i can still bluff TJ if i miss, folding is fine since im 19 invested and if i hit i probably wont get paid on clubs too often, atleast not for a large bet since its pretty transparent imo.. raising gives me options altho the texture sux, so i think flop reraise is best.

honestly i just folded cuz i didn't see myself getting paid off if i hit.

what are your thoughts, we were both about 200bb deep, he just went pot pot, i had NFD in MP, reward was good but risk seemed high..

Hey guys, been here for about 36 hours so far.

Last night I made my way over to the venetian, seems like the best 1/2 in town.

early on we had a nicedouble up, then get stacked on a J66ss 3d(2flush turn) Qx river he bombs...
he bets every hand.... i have to call turn n river.. 46o. ++ BI for 150, peak 325,finish 86. fml.

day 2,feeling way better today things lookin good, get the thevenetianaround 11am.

grind it out,150 to about 250,then this handhappens.

lol gotta hold those, what u guys think about the KK 3 way (player A wasa fishplayer Bseemed solid reg, he wasby far the most aggro at the table,me being #2 or #3 aggro on the table.

just bet fold? i had 150or so i think start of hand - otb had 100, he had 400, so that changes his allin a lot since its vs 75bb and a 50bb station, but that stations range was really wide.

How are the games? Similar to Bovada I imagine?

Where you guys think the softest 1/2 games are?

Anyone know of any great cheaper MTT series that has great ROI I should be in?

Misleading title - After further analysis its more important to focus on CG at the moment.

The stream will be mostly cashgames this month, planning on way more CG than MTT in LV.

Played tons of cash so far this year, pretty much a great tool for people looking how to build rolls up on bovada and the leaks each limit has and how to exploit it.

Hey guys, happy Black Friday anniversary, I know how different and the life changes everyone had to make has been pretty good. I'd love to hear about what you guys are up to a few years after

(americans obv but feel free to chime in from other countries)

Got back from Vancouver pretty unhealthy, had lost about 25-30 lbs. Got back home and been grinding out my rent on acr for a while.

I want to say a big THANK YOU TO LP.

You guys pushed for me to move to Bovada.

I finally did. A big THANK YOU. games are night and day compared to ACR with so much more action, ACR only kept me there cuz that 345debit, not worth playin vs regs non stop all day tho

On this end, since BF I've spent about 6 months a year in the states and have traveled to Vancouver 2 times, had a solid 50k month up there, 3 months in Costa Rica where i moved into 109rs 162s etc and did very well, but as most of you guys know, Iwas always staked. I did Ottawa for 6 months as well, was in "Hunt Club" and had a great group of friends, was killing it. then I moved downtown and just got slaughtered everyday, friends were to far and was a huge learning experience, that trip was really bad for me. I did ok that trip, think i only went home with a few grand though. made some great friends and relations there though. Its really beautiful, castles everywhere, ppl are in general very nice, and the weathers very similar to my hometown (near buffalo) ++ big lesson learned was keeping good friends around and making sure I stay healthy, and don't be insanely high 24/7 just cuz the greens so cheap up there. Its like I live in some sort of fear or something when I'm not surrounded by friends, gotta keep em close during these trips. Traveling alone on those trips or living alone when I relocate kinda sucks. Costa Rica is the exception cuz its just amazing 24/7.

Costa Rica was insane, I'd like to do it all over again since I was doing drugs and other bad stuff back then, not to say I don't smoke green or anything, but the lifes been ship shaped up hard, seems like a great place for me now. Not so much in my 20s tho.

Van City is amazing, and amazingly expensive.
Live poker in Vancouver is very loose and ppl even think at lower stakes like 1/2, everyones deep, ppl stack off quite light its a very solid game. vegas is better but vancouvers 1/2 runs like vegas 2/5 which was cool for my br since most 1/2 is ugh, bingo.

I've spent some time making up bankroll guidelines that I personally need to follow, and got on Bovada. After playing vs some recreational players and fish on tons of tables, I am now entirely convinced Bovada is the best software by far. Thank you everyone for pushing me to move my action there.

Next step : 5/1 - Have a room waiting for me in NJ with a poker student and his friend, they are doing really well and I can help them progress, quite new players that are makin a few grand a month, taught them some of the keys to the kingdom already.

after that : 6/1-6/15 - Las Vegas, Grind out Cashgames non stop all day everyday, do 1-3 MTTs a week as well.

Build up there, then prolly bounce out to Cali or Florida, I hear the games are best there, or maybe just stay in LV or move back to NJ.

Wasted months of my time on ACR but thankful to be off there, theres my 2015, I made a 5 year plan and im following through with it. Seems a lot more calm and relaxed.

What kinda jobs did you guys get that opted out?

I may go up to Hunt Club OTtawa to grind a lil this summer, maybe even in May, but as it looks, I think NJ is the best option by far (lease is up so timing is good)

Hey guys, After Caesars blackballed Pokerstars for a few years keeping them out of the US, they have teamed up with them now that they are under Amaya. They are going to aggressively be pursuing many bills etc.

Also on Pokernews you can see that Cali is doing a lot having 3 tribes now willing to allow pokerstars and 2 opposed, when it was 0-5, things are progressing, and another bill was put in today although its just a start for the year as it won't do much imo.

Hey LP, so my cash game hiatus for the year is on standby

After spending tons of time going through all the game selections I have at my fingertips
MTT's and On Demand SNG's look really good.

I decided to give them a run.

I've won the 3r 2x and the 6r and a couple $11s so far building up last week, those on demand sngs are really great games too and tend to win my fair share.

Finally got to 1k from the 100 I started in there with. I wasted like 2 weeks playing cash games.

I've changed my tourney game around some, still have a lot of work to do, right now im rebuilding from the bottom levels, so things will be coming back to me as they do, and studying a lot.

I forgot I was a student of the game for a while there. I'm 100% just looking to soak everything up like a sponge and keep crushing.

The comments sections of my blogs are all derailed. I'm quite happy in my life, those comments are just distractions and mostly about things my bipolar mind was doing last week which is like moot now ;P

Prolly won't post more than 1-2x a year, no reason to, no positivity comes out of it. Just trolls.

Hey guys, I wanted to let the LP know that 888 poker and WSOP.com just merged in NJ, my friend told me last night.

Going a week every month to grind there now myself. CG's run to 5/10+, MTT pools are now finally right solid.

Also, I asked Tony (AC pokerbuddyetc), if this was true. He said on the website, it says "coming early 2015" He confirmed this is all real. (got image off twitter)



In the start of 2014, they said nothing would happen with online poker, but in 2015 we should expect big things in the USA. This is a very good sign.

New Jerseys not too far from me, be there Feb 6-13th, if any LPers are near AC, let me know.

Playing a mixture of anything profitable these days, nothin to brag about, been consistently..... bad! KJss, grinding up ACR from $100, should be in some good games really soon Its been a fun grind, had a really swingy tough month.

I was too stubborn in one of my sessions...I took at shot at 25 w/ like 385 and left with 190ish, that was my one mistake this month, that was like a week ago... started on the 10th this month (moving sucks in the winter)

found a great game selection,
Cheap MTTs and those cheap on demand SNG's, with rb and the beast on that, its actually a really good route for me to take. Solid daily, low risk, high reward, stack the cash, then play big again whenevz, no rush. stakers there if i need em. they rape ya tho, time to do 100% to the tip top.

I was playing WAYYYY to loose, and I needed to play a month of CG's, this has definitely been a month where I've learned more than I feel I've ever taken in, in months past.

Patched a few big leaks in my game that were bad habits for about 2 years and they just worked for the last 1.5 years and feel really good with where my game is and where its heading.

time to get back among the top players.

Hey guys,

A couple weeks ago, I moved back from Vancouver. It was alright up there, I did 1 month not staked and won like 7k that month, didn't do much else, hung out with lostaccount (Johnnylaydownboy) a lot, Vancouver's one helluva city, was a great time. Won 4.2 in another and a bunch of 1ks, the prize pools are 50% now, it sucks playing for 1/2 of what your used to.

So I got back home, got myself a nice place and am just gonna grind the casino here and ACR for now, prolly add bodog in a couple weeks.

Game selection has been 100% cashgames since November with the exception of that 215 5m gntd and 1-2 other mtt's.

Starting to want to play them again a little bit, I'll play em when I desire them again a lil bit, never for a living again though.

Plan is NL25 + NL200 + Homegames for making a living in the states, stack cash off 25 til June, then most to nl50 very overrolled and just crush out 40-80 hours a week w/ the beast.

Things have been going ok so far, I took december off for the most part and the first week of this month just hangin with mah girl

I played a lil cash games in Canada, but mostly just MTTs and relaxed a lot, John spent tons of time teaching me a new perspective, I see the game totally different now business wise and hourly wise, it was definitely one of the most enlightening poker trips of my life, although one of the toughest, the games were also a lil tough, I just didn't care to grind on stars, I should have left after about 2.5 months I had no passion to play up there anymore, its just not worth it for me leaving the country, loved ones and friends to play poker.

I had like $109.55 in my account when I got home.
No reason to redeposit a penny, I had to pay for a place, all that kinda stuff. Got expensive fast.
Restarted at NL10.

Here is last years cashgame play - im a BR nit now u guys have no idea, ask john, i wont play some shit with tons of bi's... my only degen moves now are re jamming rivers.







oh some screen shots for records and yah im gonna devote this year to cashgames, NL25 (nl50 by June hopefully) - 6-9 hours a day, look to make top of beast a few times and just grind out the hourly. I tend to do very well in the NL10/NL25 games so far, I'm very confident I should be beating 50 now after the Canada trip, my game has come a long way, as it always does on a poker trip. Its like a hyperbolic time chamber. Fastest 4 months of my life.

John was awesome as a host, he helped me with rides like everywhere, was very cool caring and there when I was in a city where you can't trust anyone. He had my back, let me play on my own for a while, then i won a nice mtt and he rebacked me so I could pay him off and put away $ for when I needed to go home.

Now I'm back on my own again lol

John and I worked together like 5 years, If I ever wanted to MTT again, like had he passion to care to do it, we would work together, theres just 0% passion for MTT's after so many years of not making it to the 10k scene etc, struggling past the 162s online, and having my biggest scores being 20ks etc, so many chances at so many big scores, mtts just fucking suck. lol. stupid that i got off track with them so long, but they kept me afloat long enough to learn to actually play, so its all +ev I guess.

Did a few live sessions in Vancouver, pretty much just crushed every session, although I didn't play many sessions. John sat with me one day, he just said I was to determined, pretty much unbeatable lol. i don't care the stakes. we had some fun bluffs that day. hes one silent ninja. i talk non stop and keep ppl off there game with my mouth edge + hands played in career etc, usually know my flop turn riv actions ahead where they have to think, its a good weapon if u use it right... I'm still learning to use it right though. So much shit you can do to people and exploit later with the power of words. My table presence is at an all time high. That always feels good.

The real reason I just love grinding CG's is every hour I put in online, The local 1/2-2/5 games (hopefully be in these soon), where you can make roughly 5 bills a day at 1/2 just sittin grinding around 9 hours. Its a very good game, I'm lucky to have the poker room so close to my house.


No rush with the online BR, but def wanna get to 1k asap so I can move up to 25.

Still be doing the big mtts like the $500 1m gntd etc, not gonna miss stuff like that, just insanely tired of all the years of 15 hours a day, not worth trading my life for anymore lol I'll load one up when I' really want to take one down I imagine as well.

Actually like ACR MTT's since the fields are so small.
They haven't been hitting overlays, I've looked, just haven't cared to play one yet.
