Gawuss is bankin !

June is over and there are only 3 days left to my 18th birthday. I have already got myself a gift, which is a small upgrade of my 'nerding point' (or 'nerding station', whatever you like better). Here's a pic:



I bought new speakers - Logitech Z-5500 plus mouse/keyboard MX5500 Revolution pack.
Speakers are AMAZING, let alone the keyboard and the mouse, which feel really nice.

Summer has been great so far. In the 2nd half (well, basically the end) of June I won back some money and am now confident enough to play and (hopefully) win more in July. I need to build up my BR a little so that I could splash out some money later in London I'm sooo looking forward to this trip. One of my main goals there is to gamble it up in a casino for the first time in my life.
Speaking of trips, today we were canoeing in Zwierzyniec. Nothing hardcore, small river, couple of beers, it was fun

Played only on 11 days - mostly due to school, parties and laziness. Overall I ended up $5k which is fine

I haven't posted anything here for a while and since I don't really feel like playing or doing anything else today I'll write sth.
I don't want to write about poker that much so here's a brief info: haven't played much this month - maybe 3-4k hands. Including rb from May I'm down like 1-1,2k euros. I'm going to start playing full time again since I had my last school day on Friday and now I've got 2 month-long vacation.

Speaking of bday parties my friends had theirs on Friday. I ate pizza and drank 2 bears plus maybe 100ml of vodka. My stomach kinda hurt and I started vomiting in the morning and had diarrhea... That's how I looked like after throwing up.
I ended up getting an i.v. I felt better for a while but it got worse later. Now after sleeping for 13 hours I feel great. I'm a bit hungry though.

In exactly 2 weeks I turn 18 5th July that is !! Can't wait !
I'm planning on visiting my friends in London in the middle of July and it turns out that there's going to be a Unibet Open tournament while I'll be there. 16-19th July. If anyone would like to meet or sth let me know.

Ok, let's start with meh. Poker gods were not good for me this month. I had managed to get even after my 1st little downswing but then I lost like 5k euros in 3 days and I'm down $6,2k for the month. Well, it's really doable to win it back and I'll do my best to win twice as much in June - the month, in which I'm going to pwn everyone !!!!! I started reading The Poker Mindset, I'm gonna rewatch lessons with Dzoo once again, on Tuesday I'm getting a gym membership and my aim is to visit it at least twice a week.
Now, what's up with YEAH ?!
Obv the part with the gym and starting to get things together again is included in it but 2 things, that I'm super excited about are coming: my b-day party and EMOP with Dusty and others in Barcelona
So when it comes to the party, I and one of my best friends are throwing it together in a club. It's like a super sweet 18 party but with two hosts We invited over 300 ppl and I'm so looking forward to it - it's tomorrow !!!! I'll definitely post some pics if only is anyone sober enough to take them lol. EMOP in Barcelona starts in the end of July and it'll be my first live tournament I've legally taken part in It's bound this trip will be awesome ! Not only are we planning on playing the ME (which is 1050 euros) but also we're gonna do the bungee-jumping and skydiving Hopefully we'll pull all of this off :D

EDIT: DAMMIT, I forgot to mention new shoes I finally ordered - I couldn't find my size, but my patience paid off and I got them.

So last month was not entirely about poker, I had to do some stuff for school, I did some rehab (by the way, I've got only 2 visits left, my leg is almost 100% fine now. I'll have to practice by myself to keep it strong) but I also had 7 lessons with D_Zoo and played some poker (17k hands only though). When it comes to those lessons, I'm glad I record them because I must say there's plenty of things for me to learn and I'll need to rewatch each of them a couple of times until I get the most of what my great coach has told me - during the lessons I'm like 'yea, yea, yea, ok, I get it' and there's not much left to ask because he talks about everything and gets into details. I guess I'll write down a list of questions for our next lesson to ask him cause sometimes while playing an idea comes to my mind and then I simply forget it.

In April I'm up about ~$5,6k. It's not that bad but it could have definitely been better if I didn't have those sick swings like every day.

Last week I had this dream which I wrote down after waking up. I'm trying to improve my skill of remembering dreams in order to learn to control them easier (I'm talking about lucid dreaming)

I was sitting in front of my computer and I wanted to open LiquidPoker webpage but some gangsters were standing behind me and I knew that they weren't members of LP so I couldn't reveal its address. They made several attempts to get it from me but I didn't let them to, I covered LiquidPoker's logo and WWW address with my entire body so they couldn't see it. Then it turned out that LiquidPoker is hidden in the middle of a book and all pages where it was 'written', were yellow. I've not idea why and how, but after a while LP got its secret hiding place in some building - it looked like this secret organisation's place from Harry Potter. New people wanted to sign up - from what I recall there was some little guy - a noob, and two of my friends - Konrad and Mati. They had a task to do in order to become LP members. LP's boss was an old guy - the master, who had given me a car key fob when I was still a noob. I gave it to the little guy who had to push it so, that it drives around him. The boss noticed it was my car. I felt and pretty much knew that I was some kind of a special student of his. Konrad and Mati and the noob tried to do some tasks. Some cards were laying at the table - the old guy asked about birthdate of 2 of them and put 2 and I think 4 on the table. There was also a Jack, 7, 6 and I guess something else - I believe there were more than 5 cards. Everyone was throwing a little plastic car (not mine), which looked like those from Kinder Surprise, on the table, and if it hit his birthdate he could become the member. When no one managed they came up with new rules like for example when the plastic car fell between 6 and 4 they substracted it (6-4=2) but once again nobody hit it.

Kinda weird and boring but w/e

I couldn't come up with an original idea to start this blog entry so I'll just begin with: It was another lazy but still a pretty good month for me. I made over $6k (including rb from February which I got 2 weeks ago) and once again I proved to be a fucking layabout. Just look at the amount of hands I played:

There are things I definitely need to improve and that's why I'm starting a 5-week-long course with D_Zoo. I'm really excited about it. We're gonna have a test session tomorrow.

I won that bet with my cousin where he was supposed to play 102,8k hands in March but he still hasn't given me the prize (a bottle of Dom Perignon)

Ok, I guess I don't have anything more to write about today , maybe only that just 3 months are left to my 18th bday I've already booked a club where I and my friend are throwing a bday party together. But more on that in a month or so.

Ok, so to end this entry in a different way than I always do, I'll quote D_Zoo's prediction of how the course is going to look like:

God I can't believe - D_Zoo accepted me as a student - I can't wait to hear probably the most awesome voice ever, I'm so excited
The next cool thing is Michael Jackson's concert in London. Hopefully I'll be able to get some tickets and also talk a couple of friends into it because this trip is bound to be great. I turn 18 in July so it's even more fun
I haven't posted any February results yet so here is the graph:



As you can see I didn't play many hands in the last month. That's due to winter holidays (i.e. partying, laziness, etc ) and school (i.e. being tired all the time). And here's another reason I wanted to get a coach - I'm sure D_Zoo will motivate me as hell to play as much as I can.

As a bonus info me and my cousin got a prop-bet going on. He's supposed to play 102,8k hands in March. So far his best score has been 55k hands in January. If he doesn't make it I'll win a bottle of Dom Pérignon (btw. it was his idea, not mine)

Well, my goal for this year was to play more than in 2008 but so far it looks pretty much the same as it did last year. I know that in order to move up in stakes and win money I have to play as much as I can to achieve all the goals I have set. But damn, I really don't feel any eagerness nor am I motivated to play. Instead I choose to watch The Big Bang Theory all day not caring about any other stuff It might be good in some way but I gotta be consistent in pursuing my goals. Please tell me something that will motivate me enough to put in at least 10k hands more this month !!

And by the way, I wanted to take an exchange student from Germany for a week cause there's a whole group coming from Munchen (then in September or so we would come over to them) and a couple of my friends are going to take part in this.I don't know if it was a bad day for my mom but she said that she wouldn't serve any stranger. I guess I'll try asking her again tomorrow or on Friday. Hopefully she agrees, maybe my dad will make her change her mind cause as far as I know he approves of this.
