Party poker welcomes me with a bang
  gawdawaful, Apr 06 2007

if you consider a bang to be a bunch of coolers that is

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/169835
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/169836
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/169837

down 64 in 235 hands of 25nl rofl.

However, I refuse to move down to 10nl despite my puny party roll, so tomorrow I shall play on more 25nl, or perhaps even 50nl. We'll see how this goes. If I go busto, I'ma stay to stars then.

In other news, I made 300 some at stars, so my day wasnt completely bad

well, time for an update
  gawdawaful, Mar 30 2007

Spent the last few days getting sucked out, drawn out, coolered, and anal raped.
Since the 26th, I've been winning at 1.49/100 over 11k hands, sad.

Total: 32,550 hands, 6.37 bb/100

Well, today sucked
  gawdawaful, Mar 26 2007

My first day in the red in a week.
2500 hands, down 140 for about -5bb/100

I made 2 crucial mistakes today. Calling a donk push when I should've tossed it, and not raising enough preflop with AA multiway action and he hits set.

Besides that, I lost every coinflip despite going in with the best of it. One was for 120BBs or some shit like that
There was also the set over set issue that kinda sucked.

I attribute running bad to the cashout boomswitch. I made my last 130 auto revert to neteller since news surfaced that they're shutting down to Canadians. http://www.neteller-group.com/press/en/127.htm

I'm now sitting at 23700 hands and 7.43bb/100, a big fall caused by this sitting :/ but, I intend on doing better next sitting

Update
  gawdawaful, Mar 23 2007

after getting cold decked twice within 10 hands, my 6bb/100 session turned into a -0.5 or some stupid shit like that. So now I'm at 7.93/100 over 13.7k hands.

I'll probably update again at 20k hands or something like that. That or end of weekend, whenever I remember

The 150k hand challenge/test
  gawdawaful, Mar 22 2007

I've been asked by a few LP stars regs as to why I dropped back to 100nl.

2 reasons: 1.) I didnt do too well on 100nl yet again, and since I know I can beat 50nl, might as well come and pad my bankroll abit
2.) More interestingly, I want to find out what kind of a win rate I can sustain at 50nl while playing 7-9 tables of 6max. I want to win at around 7-8bb/100, which I think is plenty feasible given how soft the games are.

So, wish me luck.
Btw, feel free to leave guesses as to what winrate in terms of PTBB/100 after say, 100-200k hands.
As of right now, I'm at 7.52bb/100 after 9633 hands. If I factor out the first 2600 hands where I broke even from the cashout boomswitch, I'm luckboxing my way at 10.4bb/100

yuck, another coaster session
  gawdawaful, Mar 17 2007

Went from up 300 to down 300 pronto thanks to some annoying beats. I guess a couple of them could've been pitched, but ugh, I hate folding overpairs.

Heres my month so far, and since its incredibly crappy and I decided to cash a bit of money out, I'll be back grinding 50nl for the rest of the month. Hopefully, I can recoup some of these losses.

I'm done exams on Apr 20th, and after that, I'll be free to play 6+ hrs a day. Hopefully by then I can figure out a way I can 9 or 12 table 50nl effectively.

Btw, if you guys have any suggestions for monitors/laptops, pls lemme know. I'm contemplating getting three $1000 futureshop (electronic store) gift certs to buy a laptop and a monitor to go nuts on.

Played pretty shitty
  gawdawaful, Mar 05 2007

Just didnt feel in it today. Played horribly and somehow luckboxed my way with set from flop 3 handed, improving to quads, to beat nut straight from flop. Because of that drawout and a suckout from early in the sitting, I managed to end up 1BI after 1k hands. Good enough I guess

Interesting suckout/cooler of the session:

I feel its a suckout because I'm 3:1 to win on flop or some shit like that, but at the same time, its a cooler because angel felt he had odds against top pair on the flop. Fun fun fun

Learned a valuable lesson the other day
  gawdawaful, Mar 03 2007

Ended February on a high note, and since I couldnt sleep thanks to a couple of red bulls during the day, I decided to play from 4am to about 8am. The session started off ok, flopped a couple hands and picked up a buyin or two. Then a couple suckouts + colddeck/setups put me on tilt for 3hrs. Lost 6 1/2 buyins in total to start off March

Lesson learned here? Dont play without sleep, dont play when on tilt and dont play when playing your C game

You'd think it takes me less than 18months to figure those out eh?

What a couple boring days
  gawdawaful, Feb 14 2007

Recap of todays session, QQ vs KK = he hits set
QQ vs A4, what else, Ace. I'm a donk and played this hand as bad as I can possibly play it

What else, set vs set, ye know, shit like that.

Yesterday sucked ass too, a couple of 2+2ers decided to talk trash on table about how they "hate LPers". To make matters worse, I ran worse than Terry Fox in a 100m dash. Lost a couple 2-3 outters, bottom set vs top 2, and my AA turned into a coin flip, which I also lost on flop.

So in the two days combined, I'm down 6 buyins over 3400 hands. Craptastic
