So today i felt like playing a short 4table NL50 6max session again
after 5 days of 8table Fullring grind.

went pretty well overall
I lost one big coinflip for 1 1/3 buy ins ( 135$ pot >-<)

I got coolerd and sucked out the first 900 hands like if theres no tomorrow
nothing worked out and i was thinking about quitting the session.

But then i thought for a few momments :
I am not tilted !
I am calm
I feel good
I play good

so why should i stop ?
this would only make sense if u believe in riggedness of online poker and stuff.

one of the very first things a player who wants to be a winning player must realize is :
There is no such thing as riggedness in online poker ( except for PokerStars SNGS and FTP in generall

So i just kept going and eventually i didnt get fucked by the dealer anymore and made all back easily.
YAY
I am proud of myself for 2 reasons

1.) I am a winning player at NL50
2.) I managed to stay calm and keeping A when i had lost ~ 6 buy ins in the first 1000 Hands getting sick buttfucked by the deck and the dealer >-<

Can not complain



played 7h 8 tables NL50 8max in these 3 days.

I am behind in amount of hands i planned to play ( but i am not feeling too good today (dont know , i am somehow strangely tired ) so i rather dont play long sessions for the sake of just putting in many hands)

I also stopped HU NL50
rake is too high and it motherfucking tilts me that every newblor leaves the table after he sucked out on you

so i probably stay with cashgame FR this month

I also considerd taking part in the NoIQpoker May race
But then i heared this race is the pretty damn toughest rakerace on the entire universe.
I know a guy who 8-10 tabled NL200FR for 10-12h a day for 1 whole month and he got #30th pace in that race some month ago >-<
so there is pretty much no chance for Nl50 newblers in that race.

so i decided to practice some HU

SO far i am down 6 buy ins on NL50 HU in my first session >-<
I decided to start HU for several reasons

edit now its only - 3 4/5 buy ins

1.) I am easily bored of 8tabling Nitring after like 2h and i think HU will motivate me to keep going.
So like i start the session with 2h 8tabling Nitring then i make a break and start 2h session 2tabling HU

2.) I am originally kinda agressive and i like agression
Fullring doesnt fit my natural desire ... HU is much more fun

3.) I ve seen some pretty good instructional videos on Nl50 - Nl200 HU recently and therefore i think i have a half way decent gameplan.

Although i am down a good amount i still feel like its major + EV when chosing the right villians.

This is just a short update and some thoughts.

Today i had again a pretty medicore session
not too bad not too good.

8tabling 8max NL50





yesterday i played a 10+1$ freezeout ( 1200ppl) and got like 80th for 16$(5$ net profit) busting QQ vs KK preflop all in.
Furthermore i produced 16$ rakeback today

So all together my net profit for may so far = +54$

Also i had the pleasure to RL met Royal_Rumble on Thursday and will upload pics tomorrow
Guess we will train some MMA together and have some fun in the future

Now some thoughts about sickness.

As most of u know i am playing Cashgame for quite some time now.
I started Cashgame Nl5 in September 2007.
After almost 8 month of Cashgame i just managed to become a winning player at NL50 in April 2008

Ofc this is really marginal results ( though its still okay imo since i can make more money now than my friends do in their shitty part time jobs )

I think there are mainly 2 reasons i progressed so slow

1.) Lack of discipline ( Ive always had major problems with tilt and overagression in my game)
2.) I am just not the kind a guy who is able to put in countless hours every day in a Computer game ...

I can play poker for like 2-3h a day maximum and then i get sick bored of it ...
I really believe that deep inside me i naturally refuse the idea of spending countless hours being alone in front of a computer

Todays session is a good example.
when catching my sick heater at the end of the session bringing me into green i instantly felt an urge to quit and call it a session.
I had played for nearly 3h straight and i managed to finally turn the -110$ session into +49$ net ( inc rb)

Now i am sitting here thinking :
If i was really serious about pokermoney i probbaly just should have continued to play till next day morning while being on that heater.

but somehow i am not sick enough to do that

Dont play when ure tilted from RL stuff !

I came home from university today and i felt ultra tired so i tried to sleep afternoon
but 123123 people called for worthless shit >-<
i was ultra pissed cause i didnt manage to get any sleep

So being
tried and angry i opend the poker tables cause i thought maybe winning a bit money will relaxe me !

How can i be so stupid
I noticed that there is no fold button when ure on RLtilt !

I ve not played as bad as today for the last months ....

And i hate myself for having done that.

Yes , right 90% a limp call means small pocket pair

so what is a minraise here on that board whe he is a tight player who limp called preflop ?
444 555 666 or in the absolute best case we can imagine 77
he had 66 for the set.
