Had a good first day on stars today.
There software makes poker 500% better its ridiculous how much better stars is than every other site put together...feels awesome!
anyways, was hu vs the #1 player on the tourney leader board, he won the monthly last 3 months and is #1 yearly, he bested me, kinda played a lil too lag, usually have that problem first few days back at ft's, gonna tone it down some n hopefully get the 1sts; hes a friend on skype, was a fun match to say the least, gonna go visit him on the beach here in CR soon
Feels good to get a nice bink on day 1, hopefully a good sign of things to come;
If anyone has any information or knows where I can find a furnished apartment across the border (Fort Erie'ish, Ontario'ish)

35 Day Challenge
Hey Everyone, been a lil while since I have done a challenge of any sort, so I'll start one now since I have tons of time and should be grinding more.
(250 hr challenge over 30 grinding days)
I'm going to be playing NL25 FR + 2-3 mtts at a time. Aiming for 4,000 hands a day, and 2-4+ MTT wins before the end of the 35 day challenge.
Its 35 days, because honestly, I want 5 days off during this _atleast_. I'm going to push myself really hard and grind my ass off.
Hero Has some really good MTT's if you're playing in low selection, and becoming among the best in the Full Ring games is very important to me right now.
(Makes traveling to all mtt's lucrative in my current game state, becoming great at fr will pretty much always cover ne mtt costs)
(i'm currently a 3.33bb/100 winner outside HU on Hero, but dropped $900 hu one day so has me in the red.)
January : NL10/NL25 FR CG's + Hero MTT's
February : Pittsburgh Casino - 1/3-2/5 + MTT's + Hero
March : Frequent Pitts often, Foxwoods for bigger MTT's + Hero

August : with the USA under martial law, I plan to be out of the states for a long period of time if this isn't veto'd etc.
I don't believe in the reasons the USA are in the current state of affairs they are in, I would rather continue to play poker drama-free, which I will.
I plan to move to a beautiful area, Caracas, Cancun, Australia, or maybe a place like Taiwan again. We'll see in the coming months.
One thing I have realized, is its not worth living "anywhere" to play on stars, no matter what you make. If your outside your home country, you want to be where its beautiful, the women are fine, and you're freedom is 100% in tact. As an american, there are a few places I'd have to avoid, sad right? w/e. politians are gonna politate.
Also - if at any point I bust my online BR, I will scratch above aforementioned plans, and go play @ stars outside the USA staked as I did the last 3 months of 2011. ( was great and did very well, no worries either way )
br at start of challenge : around $600. I'll post graphs and results daily to my website (linked at bottom of my lp posts). i'm aiming for $2500. (thats just 200 hrs at nl25 fr @ 12.50 an hr) - not including rakeback. still 50 hrs more, should make more than 12.50 an hr (thats undercut imo) and i loooooove them MTT's!

well its raining really hard today, so i'm going to stay in and grind a little bit - working for my dad @ his company, doing landscaping and any kinda other work he knows needs done (dig ditches, go downtown to pick up (x)part, that kinda stuff).
2 big shops, huge lawn, grandfathers airport below (original owner) w/ hangers for his planes, tractors n all that fun stuff ;-) learned a lot yesterday, was a fun productive day and i'm gonna work out there friday and all next week as well.
left $40 on hero to grind up part-time while i build up my monies and get ahead again, kinda fell behind the last month and a half, just hardly been making rent with a few extra dollars every month w/out stars.. (paying all bills friday, and moving next week) gotta have all my $ together;
Starting to think I should work during the week 4-5 days and grind 2-3 days a week til I have a very comfortable working BR - We will run NL50-NL200 games at our house, should help me build my roll faster, I Love Home Games! Going to be the first time I've had home games in a couple years on the regular, just found a bar that runs poker 24/7 too 40 minutes away. Getting players there for our game should be good, since ppl commute there from my town to play.
Gonna be hustlin it up for a bit :-)
Once I have 10k or so, then I can either move to Canada and grind stars comfy again or grind all the Hero MTT's daily
I feel like I got a really good perspective on things, working outside all day and being productive, in a stress free job really showed me what i put myself through post 4/15. I'll eventually move up to Canada, and grind MTT's up there after I have 10k or so. I'm not in any hurry, managing my br correctly and grinding it up online and live is the main purpose, for all games that I play in.
Realizing I can make a decent amount in that work force too, gonna go see some stuff thats suitable for my skillsets to see what they pay and find something that pays good.

Hey guys, I'm starting a group conversation on Skype where we can hopefully always have 10-50 people online. (6max and MTT grinders plz)
We can talk about hands and have multiple perspectives etc, teach each other and grow as players.
We can also shadow each other and help each other in other ways. (blowjobs, junglemaning, u get the jist, etc)
I recently started taking 6max seriously again, am loving it, and realize I have a long, long way to go, this is just another step that hopefully does pan out well;

Hey everyone, had my 2nd day on NL25 today, after a really busy day.
Had a couple hands that gave me some trouble, QQ vs a 4.5% 3better, i folded to a 4bet with 6.5 in the pot, not sure if i should be stacking off here or not.
other than that, had some really solid hands and some AKs hold vs AQ etc

Hey guys, been grinding a ton of mtt's on hero lately, ft'd the 3r and $11 5k gntd to build up a nice bankroll. Didn't finish either of them off, kind of a shame, but just getting back in the groove so its acceptable I guess...
Gonna keep MTT'ing there a ton and building this roll up, although the payjumps for the FT's are ridiculous. Def needs to be worked on but w/e, happy w/ whats there;
MTTs so far at merge, started with $100 and had to cashout a couple times, so not the biggest wins yet, hopefully some to come though :-)
So after tonight's MTT session, I was bored, felt like gambling, using what I've been learning, played a pretty epic session.
Started out losing a few AK vs AA and QQ vs AQ, then bounced back pretty good. When I was down 150, made a stop loss for 175, buckled down n fckin owned. I know its only nl25, but its a start and a big confidence builder, looking forward to more nl25 sessions in the future and playing nl50 sometime soon again.
(just told myself, inch back dolla by dolla) n did it ;-)
Been pretty busy in life, spending a lot of time with my family etc, planning on moving 9/1, so having lots of fun in my hometown til I go;
Made a pokerstars.net home game, have 6 people in there, looking to add more people. Its actually a lot of fun, the 1/2 is 400 cap and well, nobody likes to lose, so we get some good games goin there. msg me if u wanna join us, we need more for 6max games etc (mostly usa players plz, and have skype)
So not a bad last couple days, hopefully I can keep improving and have a better week this week then the last few;
