Hi everyone, had a pretty shitty session today, down about 5 buy is in the past 1000 hands so i stopped. I wasn't really even playing bad, just a lot of suckouts by the other players and ppl luck boxing. Here's a few, doesn't really matter to me but might as well tell ya what i was thinking.
Umm... Oh yeah, i also started taking a specific type of "medication" called Melatonin. You don't need a prescription for it. It helps increase total sleep time aspect of sleep quality in people suffering from sleep restriction or altered sleep schedule such as shift work or jet lag. Helps to reduce the time it takes to fall asleep in people with delayed sleep phase syndrome and to reset the sleep-wake cycle of circadian rhythm. So all in all it means if you go to sleep around 4-5am, and you want to start going to sleep again at 10pm, and waking up at 8am or so, take this since it resets your circadian sleeping rhythm. I only took it for about a week or so and it works great. I've been falling asleep like a baby every day for the past week around 10pm and for the longest time i usually went to sleep around 4-5am. I highly recommend this, and its cheap too, around $10 for a 2-4 week supply. It is recommended to take it 1 hour before bed time and go to sleep around the same time every day. Hope this information help somebody out. Also Melatonin is naturally created and released by the body so it’s safer and works better long term since your body is familiar with it. Now that i'm falling asleep 10pm regularly i no longer take them.

Sure thing, I’ll be more than happy to answer some questions. Sorry for the late response, I’ve been setting up my new TV and didn't have much time to login to lp. I’m in 2nd year, and I’m enrolled in a 4 year collaborative registered nurse program. The material isn’t that difficult, the only subject I found difficult was pathology because I just don’t have a photographic memory to memorize material, but the hospital experience I gathered and other courses haven’t given me that much trouble. I found the nursing program and my experiences more than enjoyable. The teachers are amazing, I love the hospital work. You learn a great deal everyday and the relationships you make with the patients are honestly a life changing experience. Also not many occupations can you go home and you know you actually made a difference in someone else’s life. I always find myself smiling and having a pleasant time when I’m on the hospital floor, or maybe I’m just lucky that I get a friendly staff that jokes from time to time and not overly stressed.
When it comes to good or bad experiences, a good one for example was a priest that was on my floor last month. He was retired and I could not believe the dirty jokes this guy would tell me. I could not stop laughing every morning. A bad one in the same time frame was a patient that I had to care for about 2 month died. I bounded with her, and I got to know her really well, and I came back the following week to find out that she passed on, so that was a little difficult to accept because even though she was my patient, I also consider most patients my friends.
On a side note, these things don’t really matter that much, but 1/3 patients address me as doctor, if I don’t introduce myself to them, typical stereotype (I’m a male with scrubs, he must be a doctor). I find it that nurses don’t really pick on me as much, since I’m more intimidating than the other student nurses. Also in the program the ratio for male to female must be 1/20 so no complaints from any of the other guys. Any who, I hope some of this info helped you out. Oh man, this really sucks big time. I'm sorry to disappoint you all but I didn't make the 300K vpp milestone, =(. I really tried hard, i even played 14K hands in 24 hours but I still couldn't hit. Hi everyone. Man am i glad my nursing exams are over, I can't wait to get my results back, and i would also like to thank everyone that wished me luck. SO pretty much from Dec 1-14 i just studied my butt off so I banned myself from poker for those 2 weeks. All you poker players, take it from me, theres always time for poker, school comes first! Even though sometimes poker sounds more fun and worthwile at the time. Anyways, quick results from my last 20k hands:
I've had this 300K vpp goal, and i stll have 25,000 left to go and 2 weeks to get it. If I hit the milestone thats an extra $3,000 in my wallet. Is this even possible? that means i would have to play according to my estimation about 75K hands, 6max, 8 tabling at 100NL. The question is should I or should I not do it? Because if I do its going to have to be a shit load of work for me on my end. If you could kindly answer the poll below it will further help me out in my decision. I gave myself a 1 week ban again on stars, i have my important exams until Sat, Dec 8, 2007, and i need to have studying as my top priority at the moment. Been doing real well on 100nl, very happy with my result. I really don't like posting my wins anymore, but i'll do it this one time, its about 4.4BB/100 over 50k hands 6max, which is not too bad. Going to try to play around 3-4k hands every day after the 8th of Dec so i can make my milestone 300k bonus. I have a nursing research exam this Wed and Pathology this coming Sat, and the following week after that i have nursing theory on Friday, so wish me luck, since i want to do my very best of those 3.
If i were you i wouldn't play Tom in NBA 2K7, he's such a luckbox its not even funny. I was kicking his ass the whole game and then he start nailing every 3 pointer he takes. I had the Laker's and Kobe Briant 3 point percentage was 1/12, and on my bro's team Ray Allen scored 11/14 3 pointers in the last 6 minutes, which was bullshit. Final score was 53/52 for him, LUCKBOX LUCKBOX LUCKBOX!!!! Oh buy the way, were mostly guys on LP, so try to do a little Christmas shopping early for our loved ones, since I leave all my shopping to the day before X-mas.

Ok, i passed both my tests, both in the %70 range so i'm happy. I have 3 exams starting Dec1-Dec15 so no poker from there on again. I moved down to 100nl, and i'm doing great there. Averaging around 4.5/100 over 20k hands so i'll stay there for a bit. I'm so close to the 300,000 vpp bonus on stars, i have about 40,000 left to go, so thats one of my many goals, lol. I also went to niagra for a couple of hours to see all the guys.

Thats right! I went to "requests' and "responsible gambling" and i gave myself a 1 week ban because i have 2 big tests comming up next week and i need to stay focused to Nursing stm, because I enjoy poker so much. My brother also showed me a few things i'm doing wrong, and i tried my best to fix that part of my poker game.
