Moneybookers introduces Mastercard - Page 2

MB charges ~2.2$ for bank wire and exchange rates are better than in banks ( including exchange fee - 1.9% )

MB card costs 10€ and you pay 1.8€ for ATM withdrawal ( 1.9% exchange fee, but same with bank wire )

since you can withdraw in € from poker sites ( and i have BR in $)that would be a ripoff having to exchange then € to my currency :O

and OP leaves in Netherlands, there are taxes for online poker so i guess he prefers exchange fees ;o

My account is in GBP. Credits to the account are all done in GBP so theres no currency conversion. It is then cashed out in GBP (local currency) so theres no conversion at all for me but yeah other people should think about this before using them i suppose unless they wanna give out 2% everytime.

i dont think so cause im a VIP, for others it costs 10€
also exchange fee is 1.75% for VIPs
and as you said withdrawal fees are refunded

i'd like to be able to send money in $ to my $ bank account and exchange it myself, but there is no such option :/

but you should first check exchange rate on PS or wherever you have the money ( compared to MB, your bank and exchange office ) cause they can be raping you there and it can cost you more than exchange fee

Ket, you don't have to trust them, you have to read the small letters before signing in. There are no rip off charges for this card, except exchange rate. But i just cashout in usd and exchange USD into Litas in the bank.
I got card for free, no fees for replacing.
They charge 15litas/~6-7$ for withdraw from ATM, that's the only charge i pay for them.

you can set it up but it is completely worthless since moneybookers prevents US accounts from making any transactions with gaming sites.

you mean 1.8€ for withdrawal and 1.99-1.75% for exchange rate for max 250€ for one ATM withdrawal with MB card, dont write just 6-7$ when it involves 250€ max cashout

as i said, i just cashout in USD and i don't pay exchange rate. And when i said 6-7$ i ment the bank that i cashout from(Lithuanian bank's ATM), they charge money- 15 litas.

and i didn't include 1.8EUR, because they refund those fees at the end of the month.

Ket most people use these cards because their governments will hang them if they find out they're making money from poker. Not everyone has the luxury to use their bank accounts to cash in and out.

a very legit point and reason to use it but i very much doubt thats why 'most people' are using them. infact thats the first time ive heard that reason otherwise i wouldnt have even thought of it, whereas this isnt close to the first time ive heard of people using cards from these 3rd party processors. im sure most people using them are worse off and ignoring better alternatives

well if you actually open you eyes and read what i wrote before responding, you'd see that i previously said that the withdraw limit is 250EUR.
