yeah, had around $900 on stars, didn't mind if i lost it, wanted a nl100 roll or atleast close to one, so i sat vs the same player on 2 tables of nl200 (got him to accept 1 or 3 tables later) and took him for $1700 or so.
Now I'm back at nl100 because of a small shot i took, I did tell myself if I hit $400 I would stop, and checked cashier at my low points in the $500's twice I think, but he was such a tilt monkey and never cbet after his light 3bets, it was a game I wasn't leaving after feeling him out. :-), when he asked for a 3 minute break after he tilted 5ish nl200 bi's to me in a very short period of time i said GTG and left, wasn't letting him regroup and come back strong.
Followed my instincts and saved a lot of time it would have taken me on NL50 to get to where I'm at.
BTW, This year I've been completely dominant in HU, my game has come a long time, and with understanding of my BR, I'm sure you'll see me playing HU when its most profitable (fri nights if im home and sat around noon-3pm) and any other times i find fishy games or feel like crushing some ppl "head up" |
