For our league, I prefer a snake style draft just because I know it will be hard at this point to get something scheduled time wise. We also have the league set up for free on yahoo, my league that is an auction league is on cbssportsline which offers on auction option. Regarding money, I would prefer at least a $100 buy in and ideally $200 or a little more but if everyone wants to keep it affordable and have it be like a $50 dollar league I will still play.

As far as time for draft, I already have a draft scheduled for all day on the 16th and I have one scheduled for the 11th. Other than that I am free. If it is going to be a weekday though, the draft must be after 7:30pm est time because I have a full time job that will not allow me to be home before then. Oh and the only day I know I am booked for the next month is March 15th which will not work for me. Other than that, lets get it on!

i got tuesday and friday all day and any other day after 10pm for the draft.

ok, so far it seems like wednesday night, 3/19 @ 10:30 EST works for everyone. If you are interested in participating and that draft time DOES NOT work for you, please let me know so I can try to work out an alternative.

Also, I am going to tentatively set the buyin at 100$. If that DOES NOT work for you, please post what you are willing to play for.

I would prefer the draft be a little earlier tbh but if that is impossible I can do it at 10:30pm

there are no earlier available slots.

in fact, if we try to do it that thursday or friday, 11:30pm is the earliest available time.

Wed 3/19 is one of the few nights I'm wide open and at home during a busy march madness / spring training month so I think I'm good to go. I logged into the Yahoo league and my team is self-named. Commish (and commish only) - just give me a heads up about the entry.

CBS sportsline is definitely the way to go for an auction and/or keeper league. But for a straight draft, yahoo is just as good IMO. also, since most people have a yahoo account anyway, it makes things easier.

Correction - I may fly out to rail the lp'ers playing in the 10k event of the Wynn Classic and possibly miss the draft on the 19th after all. I'll keep you guys updated. If someone else who can commit wants my spot just let me know.

ok, so it looks like we're pretty set on the draft time. can we then agree on the 100$ buyin? Is everyone comfortable with that amount?

once we agree upon the buyin amount, we need to finalize payment terms. I've responsibly held league money before as albonycee, tripsearchin and others can attest to. I think my reputation is pretty sterling, and I'll be more than happy to give you guys my phone # and address. nutshot, albo and their bronx thugs can hunt me down in brooklyn if need be.

but if you guys are uncomfortable with me holding the money, I'll try and ask meat or nazgul or some other trusted third party to hold it in escrow.

either way, payment will need to be confirmed at least a few hours before the start of the draft or else you will not be permitted to participate. I say this from experience, if the commish fails to collect before the start of the draft, it is unlikely to get paid and everyone gets pissed off at the end of the year when the prize pool is shortchanged due to deadbeats.

finally, if anyone knows someone that may be interested in playing, please ask them to join. If we can even get to 12 teams, then we'll have a good competitive, legitimate league.

$50 or $100 is fine with me. And TenBagger is definitely trustworthy to hold the money as done in previous leagues w/o any problems.

im not comfortable with $100.......unless its $100 US then its ok.....$100 CAD is too valuable
