wow....you're success is seriously demoralizing me! lol...

Been playing MTTs most of my career with moderate success but started playing cash game recently...
(note..I've many times tried to play cash games...always lacking patience to continue, since I started micro grind..)

Moved my roll to Party and started with the 0.02/0.04 full ring...
that's kid stuff... did 5k hands and was up 10bb/100, then went to 10nl...and jesus christ...I'm a MAJOR loser there :S

I think I might be trying to "play" too much...making moves, raising light etc.etc.most likely playing wayy too spewy..but even when I try to play my top A game (only 3 tables...) I seem to get suckouts...

But a question - Should it be possible to win .02/0.04 fairly easy while being a loser at nl10??

great results though man - keep it up

It's pretty much the same, they all suck really bad.

Thing is, you don't have to make 'plays'. Just play solid, raise a lot of hands and punish limpers by raising 4bb+1bb per limper in late position with anything Q8o+ and pocket pairs and the like. People aren't used to a lot of agression on the tables on micro limits so they don't adapt well.

Btw, by agressive I don't mean constantly bluffing and stuff and leaking money away in average to bigsized pots on bluffs. Just keep the pot small when you don't have anything and valuebet your hands strongly when you do hit. You don't have to continuation bet any flop. I suggest to stay away from continuation betting altogether in 3way pots unless the flop texture is really good (like K72 or something). Just raise a really wide range preflop because they let you get away with it.

And my 'success' shouldn't demoralize you really.. I play regularly on 400NL and 600NL so it's obvious that I totally crush these tables way better than you because you are less experienced (no offense or bragging intended obviously). This isn't to show off, I just wanted to see how fast I can move up and I thought it'd be fun to try 'building a bankroll' again.

Thanks alot for the very thorough answer

I think quite some bit of my run is due to, like you say, continuation bet too much, and way over playing weak holdings, thinking I can easily get these guys off every hand...

I'll keep this up for several K hands more and see how I'll go, I'm way overrolled for this stake anyways, so it's not so bad

thx again

I have no idea, I think that software is crap.

I don't think I ran superhot or anything, it's just really easy for me.

lol its interesting that finally a high stakes (or mid) plays 5nl and finally shows the world what winrate is sustainable, altho you could play even looser like 40/30

yes, now all we need is to see a micro stakes player at nosebleed stakes

My work is of high quality, cheap and fast. Pick only two of those though.

What does "they let you get away with it" mean? No one is reraising preflop? I try to understand why it's so good to raise so many hands vs weak opponents. Do you let a lot of hands go on the flop when you don't hit on these stakes and someone bets?

Good luck with a super run to 5/10

Exactly, no-one is reraising preflop without a strong hand. And most of the time people don't have strong hands. Then postflop you can easily outplay them when it's headsup. When it's heads-up I don't let many hands go actually.
