I think if your goal is attracting women with your car bright orange gtr would be a bad strategy. Gtr is more like if u want bros to like u at the gas station or parking lot.

I feel like some women wouldn't be able to tell the difference between that and a mustang or not know the difference in level between a gtr and 400z or civic type r lol.

If loud and flashy is the strategy probably better off with even like a shit car like a Maserati but ideally bright orange nsx, Ferrari, lambo, McLaren type. Otherwise I think just like...an M3, amg, porsche911 would be a better strategy.

Glasses are important to me since its daily wear I feel like if you are a glasses wearing person its a worth it. Titanium frames also are more robust, don't have screws, and I think you can repair them.

I didn't mention that out at dinner tonight I ran into a friend that is rich as fuck. He invited me out to chill on his baller boat one of these days. Thought that was funny since we were just talking about that. We don't drink so I doubt there will be any champagne con tiddays but probably a nice day out nonetheless.

Leverage

Labor – I have no labor force and don't want any labor force. Maybe a cleaning lady...

Money – I have no money but obviously would like more

Other – Honestly, coding is probably the best form of leverage for me but if it is just something that intrigues me today but will bore me tomorrow I am wasting my time. I am talking real intellectual curiosity here not chasing after dollar signs. Is the chase ever pure? My paintings ARE pure but do I want to drag them on to Etsy or sell them to people on the street?

I could start a YouTube channel sharing stories about my mental illness and/or drinking, I could start a podcast,

"The best way to scare a Tory is to read and get rich." (IDLES)

"Fuck Tories! I will kill them in someway (probably Minecraft) Mr. Doctor..." (ME)

Anyway, back on track. Maybe if I had a Moog Voyager in my possession there would be a forthcoming fire album on the way but that is not true so I am left with coding, podcast, YouTube Channel, maybe something else. ....

Where does the intellectual curiosity find itself? Fuck, if I know? I am all over the place. Reading about getting rich is not really intellectual besides the fact everyone besides monks and ascetics want to get rich. While reading Nietzsche will make me rich but not always in dollar signs. If I am desperate enough I can't go into some shit job and tell them hire me because I read Nietzsche. I don't even want to go there. Maybe my friend Johnnie who washed dishes at the hippy grocery store after the hypercapitalism takeover who shot himself in the head one night in the employee only bathroom had it right. That will be one of the cards in the deck at my disposal if I have to go back to shit job. THEY WANT MY SOULLL.

THEY WANT MY SOUL
THEY EAT MY SOUL
THEY WANT MY SOUL
THEY EAT MY SOUL

COME TO DADDY COME TO DADDY COME TO DADDY

Fuck off! Now, I am going to have to kill you or me but no one NO ONE IS GETTING MY SOULULULUL

I don't really know where to go after that and I lost my place.

Oh yeah. Service job or worse in this city and suicide is at least 1 of 52 cards in the deck that I am playing with. Ace of spades. Obviously. I don't know if I would shoot myself in the face at the place of my employment but we will see.

It's nicer to think of happier things like permission-less leverage and how intellectual curiosity will save me and make me rich even though the ladder seems like some sort of paradox. Ludic intellectual curiosity will make me rich in dollar signs? Making money will not kill my ludic intellectual curiosity?

I always had a pulse on the potential for a better life with poker. I still remember vividly when I first starting crushing 1/2 in university and throwing my weight around in the bars and how that felt. THE POWER. The first time I made a new Honda Civic in a night. And on and on. Clearly at this point I have to find something beyond poker. Back then there was not really much thought on whether I was intellectually curious enough or not I just did it. Everyone thought I was crazy except for some people on here. That's about it.

And I am not even sure if this site is capable of helping me at this point.

Do I really want to read a book on persuasion? I was in the b2b sales trenches for a few years. If I really want to torture myself I'll go back to door to door. Those are some undervalued salesmen going door to door. We weren't making shit and some of these folks getting in those trenches for years were fucking good. The ones with the capital and the labor force will always try to figure out how to give the labor force the least. It is just how it works.

I am particularly restless and discontent tonight it seems.

My new goal is to get a rossa corsa Italian hot car. If the date goes well enough play this song on repeat and then 3 options:

– sing along
– silence
– act like the song is not playing

I think if I am being honest with myself very difficult coding, smart contracts, and blockchain give me a headache just thinking about it but in reality I don't understand any one of them beyond the surface.

Thank you though didn't know about Solidity. If I am ever man enough I will do a deep dive on that stuff. Now, is probably better than ever.

For some reason I feel like there is such a lack of coders that I can be mediocre with something like python and still have a chance at making an ok living.

Who knows?

I haven't seen the documentary but there is nothing wrong with choosing a simple life, Nassim Taleb's protege's, Joe Norman is a complex-system scientist and I believed he quit his job and built a homestead in a small community in the woods... return to monke lol.

The reason I'm focusing on making money is becaue I want to retire as soon as possible and not have to think about money ever again, I live a relatively spartan life, I own a 2013 focus st, a 2014 pickup for a business I started, a $300 xiaomi phone and bough a house, I could live way more extravagantly but then it would be a never ending game of making and spending money, that mindless thing Loco thinks capitalism creates but that obv is not my goal, I want to make money to be free.

(In before: "iN CoMuNisM yOu wOuldnT NeEd MoNey"

We are never free. When we think we are free that is probably the most dangerous.

I'm genuinely interested in your mindset behind that. Majority of Germans used to do the same thing and you could always see grandmas driving the newest Porsche. But what's the point of having money when you're old and don't have as much energy to do everything you wanted to do? Or do you only limit yourself in terms of material possessions but go all out on experiences?

Like Perkins, I plan to "die with 0" (I guess I gotta read the book), I spend more on experiences but nothing to crazy, as I said im focusing more on making money, the timing with crypto is perfect to let it pass, so its a grind a couple more years and then I'm going to soft-retire and live off low-risk low-maintenance investments.

I think that is the video rikd is talking about.

Idk I thought his decision was a mistake.

That being said I am getting more and more materialistic and I find myself lusting after random shit like watches, suits, cars, houses, etc. I feel like having more money isn't really just about living lavishly though you can not show off your money that much but women will respond better to you just because you have a bunch of money. Sex probably way better too.

Agree that it never ends. I'd love to have one of those huge yachts but basically impossible for everyone.

It's an ego trap and the thing is, we all know it dont we? yet its like a siren's call luring people in, and yes high status will attract more women, but often not the kind of woman that will still make you happy 20 years after.

I've been blessed by not being particularly attracted to luxury, hell I buy packs of white and black t-shirts a few random shirts from Gap outlet and a couple of old jeans and thats all I wear for years, and when I fantasize about a distant future I see myself in a Cabin in the woods by a big lake doing some random wood work, hapiness is not pleasure, happiness is peace.

How is the xiaomi phone?

My iphone 6 is on its last legs. I was considering going back to a flip phone but I think cheap Shanzhai Chinese phone is the way to go.

As much as I'd like to hate on chinese products, it has been great, no complains whatsoever and pretty cheap.

Thats why to me a boat is the pinnacle. After that everything sort of tapers off in terms of experience imo. I am sort of a sex addict lol.

Thats just a Bilzerianesque fantasy, it doesn't have to do with sex, its all about ego.

The solution isn't for him to find some ghetto boat or do a Marge Simpson Channel outfit thing, its for him to realize how dumb that pursuit is.

Happiness is pleasure or more accurately joy. Peace is just more reliable and tends to linger a little longer.

Yeah, the problem which I kept forgetting to mention until your post is that hiems is likely some level of sex addict so he will always want more.

GTR, a Hugo Boss wardrobe, and nice house/condo is a good start for anyone if that is what they want but he may instantly feel less than and want more.

David Cho has access to $300 million and was miserable because of this. $1 billion is not going to make the problem better.

I know someone who has probably $10 million and lives that scaled up life and he loves it and would surely trade his life for having $100 million but doesn't dwell on anything and just lives a pretty good life.

Def respect to you Baal for running old cars into the ground and having a t-shirt and jeans uniform.

We only get 1 life so it is wise to live it how you want.

I like the word independent more than free but they are very similar. Corporations are totalitarian regimes and most governments these days are corporate oligarchies meaning they are totalitarian regimes with an illusion of democracy.

I've read (audiobooked) die with zero and it was pretty good.

I also audiobooked The Gambler not the dostoevsky one but the biography of Kirk Kerkorian and that was also good (basically die with billions) I feel like this is the polar opposite strategy of die with zero but I think both perspectives are valid.

For the record I'm not trying to be a billionaire but I just don't think you necessarily have to die with zero is all.

but die with zero is actually just to spend all your money since you can't take any into the grave, is not an advocacy for poverty, on the contrary.
