omg he minraised! he must be a fish. But honestly antonius must have put him on at least ace-high fd or trips, he was getting 35% at best. imafish but noone else think he should have laid this down somewhere?

in a literal sense yes he should have, but i have this weird feeling patrick antonious knows more about what hes doing than any of you monkeys commenting on how he should play his hand.

Good players dont fold flush draws. Ship it.

i think you're right...after thinking about it a bit more, i think ivey's range a lot of the time here is just air trying to represent an 8 if ivey has him on overpair/overcards trying to abuse deep stacks. at the same time, antonious is only dominated by 2-2 and 8-8 on this flop, and i guess the fact that its a repopped pot counteracts the fact that the stacks are so deep to make this push an OK play. but like you said, antonious is tons better than me and this is just what i think

Does Antonius actually still do modeling and especially does he do tennis coaching? I wonder how he can really make 'any' money out of it compared to poker.

Raising preflop more than 10% is somewhat wild. 5% is average. Less than 3% is passive.
