Sucks a little that I won't see Cerrone/Al. Theodoro as comain. Brutal card

I went small today on DraftKings and made the same lineup in a few different events that range from $12, $10, and $1: Cerrone, Chiasson, Dvalishvilli, Harris, Smith, Swanson

Great performance by Cowboy. Just dismantled Iaquinta with jabs and leg kicks.

Great performance by Cerrone!
R1: Cerrone 10-9 (the commentators will have you thinking something else)
R2: Iaquinta 10-9 (Cerrone took his foot off the gas after Al landed 2-3 hooks on him)
R3: Cerrone 10-9 (BIG round for Cerrone, even prior to the KD and GnP)
R4: Cerrone 10-8 (BIG round for Cerrone)
R5: Cerrone 10-9 (CLEAR round for Cerrone)
Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone 4-1.

I didn't win any big money tonight, but I did make a decent amount of profit.
I avoided the big GPPs and focused on smaller + single entry contests.

Those were strong leg kicks. How was the Raging Bull standing until the final round.

Sadly for Cowboy, even tho i do see the improvements and think he is really good now at lightweight, i don't think he is the man to beat Khabib.... I hope for him he gets a shot at McGregor instead, because he has a much better shot at that. If he can survive the first 2 rounds i could see him winning that fight.
james9994: make note dont play against floofy, ;(

Yeah Cowboy's hands look noticeably improved. Actually does real damage with his fists now instead of mostly putting out punches to set up kicks like he did before. Think prime Conor would have demolished even this version of Cowboy but who knows what version of Conor exists anymore. Cokehead, whiskey salesman Conor might not cut it. You're right. Could be a very interesting fight

Conor said he broke his foot 3 weeks prior the Khabib fight, and he's not the type of guy to lie about that, that would explain his poor foot work during the fight. If true he could still dismantle everyone in the feet

Conor wouldn't have had any chance against Khabib regardless of his condition, maybe in a few more years when Khabib's age starts giving him backlash he'd have a chance.
Would be very disappointing if they grant him a rematch with Khabib without any match prior to that. He could/should fight Diaz to end the trilogy imo, a fight with Cerrone would be very interesting as well. If he s smart, he'd just stay retired and enjoy life without sustaining any more physical damage.
