You probably have leaks post-flop?

It doesn't matter. What matters is if you play well and improve. Getting in that negative mindspace will lose you a lot of money.

Sets and two pairs. How do I play these? Straights or better and I'm running pretty much 2.5kbb/100. I'm running at fucking 200bb/100 for sets and two pairs. Quite a massive difference and I'm not sure if that's to be expected.

I ask myself, am I playing well? I still don't have an answer. Most of my tilt comes from not being able to answer the question.

If you analyze hands properly with software and theoretical knowledge you can answer that question without being results oriented

Its situational, there is no answer of how to play em overral; possibility would be that you might be trapping/slowplaying em too often ? (Giving villain odds to outdraw you)

I do have software. The knowledge, I'm not sure. This is why I come here. Not sure if you're trolling, tbh.

What do you think? I'm trying to extract maximum value out of pp's and the eight here by letting him bet into me. His range is too wide for me to be scared of him having another ace, which most of his ace combos are blocked here. I'm not sure if I should x/r some of the time, but I do. I try to balance the x/c here with nutted hands and pure air.

For flopped sets I have an AF of 1.67 but my two pair is only .67. It feels like usually, when I do flop two pair, I'm usually up against a straight or flush draw. I'm not always sure if I should be betting two pairs in position on textures like that. After all, my two pair is what gives them the draw; the flop tends to give both of us too much equity to fold.

I do 3bet this hand against certain opponents, and against certain opponents, I never 3bet it. I'm not sure if I should be raising the flop or the turn here, but I probably should be doing something different.

I don't think I should be folding pre, but I don't think I should be raising it up, either. He most likely has an ace so I try to extract maximum value in this hand by calling down and betting when he checks. I run into situations like this A LOT.

I'm not trolling. You can read Applications of No Limit Holdem and the two books by Will Tipton to improve your theoretical knowledge of the game.

I just feel this post is very dismissive. "Yeah, just read these books and you'll be a pro in no time!" Is almost what I'm gleaning from it.

I have no reason to be dismissive because I owe you nothing. I was just leading you to effective studying tools and I'm certainly not going to spoonfeed you on here. If you don't want to take the suggestion it's up to you.

You don't owe me anything. However, you are posting here. I have been studying on my own for years now. I feel, however, that I can improve by discussing poker with people other than myself. I literally haven't talked strategy with anyone playing this game. Anyone I know personally at the live games I play don't like talking strategy as they all say you can't win in poker. (despite the fact that their biggest deficits in poker come from me) I feel you just glimpsed over my posts and decided you knew that suggesting a book I've actually read before is all that I need. I'm not even sure of your own skill level.

I'm not asking you to sweat me for multiple sessions or to give me coaching for free, which I'm not even sure if you're someone to get coaching from. I'm not sure why you think I'm asking to be spoon fed. I try to give my thoughts in the hands section since I figure if I do that, maybe someone will reciprocate.

My bad I guess, I just assumed you played very low stakes and had no idea about theory judging from your negative mindset and the type of questions you asked in your latest posts.

It's possible I've made more money than you at this game. However, I don't act like reading a couple of books is all that is needed and overnight you're a pro. If I knew every leak I had then I wouldn't be here, would I? I assume you feel that you have absolutely no leaks and you're the best player out there, don't you?

Yes, go ahead and shame me like an adult. You dismiss, ignore, and minimize.
