In the second situation Tony G vs. Phil Hellmuth, who's right? I go with TOny G, they're playing for money, why trust the person who's money you trying to take? Also, he also looked, and then went all in?

I'm OK with it. Its not an agree to flip situation, just table talk.

#4 is such a reverse tell. I see that in norcal very often and it makes a tough decision into a snap. Don't think I've been bad in that spot. People are paying attention on the river. The only one that is decent is the one hell muth used on dwan; starting to roll over your hand as villain goes to put out a call- and even then can't remember the last time I used it (thinking a home game and it worked vs my friend)

Couldn't all the flashy stuff mean about anything? I took a look at Joe Navarro's videos and he says real tells are more subtle and hidden within body language (like what Hellmuth did in the first hand is supposedly a good bluffing line like traxamillion said)

phil hellmuth knew he wasn't ahead, he just wanted to do phil hellmuth shit on TV so he called

what I was always skeptical about was the assist from joe hachem if you watch it again with that in mind

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen

I liked the last one. Instantly realizing that's his only chance to win the pot. Is it bad etiquette tho?

In what was the most ridiculous hand of live poker I've ever seen, essentially the same thing happened as in hand #4, except instead the person who was thinking about making the call still called, and did it with ace-high. Still most ridiculous hand I've seen to this day.

Joe Navarro is spot on. Anyone with half a brain is gonna be trying to feed you fake tells. ie saying shit, doing weird gestures etc.

micro expressions, ticks, overall changes in demeanor, and what villain is looking at during big decisions are a fine starting point.

LOL I would not do it myself but I am not against it, especially vs Hellmuth,

Definitely against.. try this on any live table it will lead to the same reaction of poor etiquette/unethical. Pretty funny though.
