I think all of it is in the promethease website it costs 5$. Too technical for me at the moment. |

I did this last year. Got 99.9% European and 2.5 Neanderthal too.
I also got the same APOE4 variant as you.(I assume it's e3/e4?). This increases our chance to get Alzheimer's three-fold. If we had e4/e4 it would be nine-fold or more. I told this to my parents because it means that one of them is carrying at least one copy as well, and since they just both hit the age where Late-onset Alzheimer can be discovered, it's important for them to know. Alzheimer's is incurable but very much preventable. The Nigerians have one of the highest recorded rate of carrying the e4 variant, and yet they are one of the populations with the least amount of Alzheimer's. This paradox is explained here:
