Man I'm fucking tired of these Japanese fighters not being aggressive enough, it's one of the reasons they lose fights. They just let their opponents set up, score points, and have more opportunities to knock them the fk out.

Hopefully Akiyama retires. He barely even threw any punches in this fight, but looked good in defending punches and take downs.

Edit: Actually, I take it back, Akiyama didn't look good in defending punches, it was the fact that Shields boxing sucks so much dick, Shields is the worst boxer in the Welterweight division. Akiyama basically looked great in defending take downs, and not much else.

nope the way the judges scored it even if the last 30 seconds didnt happen sexy woulda lost 30-27 unanimously since jake had rd 3 in my books even b4 that last 30 seconds. Even if Jake lost rd 3 the judges all had him winning the first two.

yeah I suppose, in my view during the first two rounds jake took a lot more damage and got taken down several times vs akiyamas zero damage zero times getting taken down
