Have a small bet on Edgar $125 at -125. Just a hunch but not really a solid read. Not really a good card for bets, missed out on all the good lines when they came out. Maybe I'll go small on Rampage at -245. Hunt hit +280 at one point which could have been a decent bet.
Hunt for those odds is a definite bet, yes he will gas and if this goes to a decision Kongo will win it every time, However Hunt is far more dangerous with his hands than Kongo, Kong will try to stay outside his range and pick him apart but i think Kongo is very bad at that.
Hunt is actually more dangerous Pat Barry but with less gas, and Barry had that fight in the pocket, its very easy to catch Kongo when he is running and he gets caught up in a more aggressive fight than he wants to very easily
Actually Kongo has a pretty good track record recently of taking down strikers and beating them up on the ground. He's used his offensive wrestling a lot more than people think. Not sure why he didn't in the Pat Barry fight. Maybe it was because Pat Barry was so short he was worried about getting under his center of gravity or something. Aside from Pat though, pretty much every single striker he's faced he's taken down for the vast majority of the match. Even strikers much lower level than him like Buentello.
But yea in general Kongo takes down strikers, and he should be plenty good enough to take down hunt and beat him up on the ground.
That said +280 I guess would be pretty close.
Well Mark Hunt is even shorter than Pat Barry and a better striker, but yeah i wasnt thinking about kongo taking it to the ground, im not knowledgeable enough to know how hard is take somebody much smaller than you down, but if thats the reason why he didnt do it with Pat Barry then he is in trouble now.

The shorter guy usually has the stronger base. Being short comes in real handy in collegiate wrestling, just look at all the top wrestlers within the past 2 years inside the UFC, they're all the shortest guys in their weight class.

Why I think Rampage will retire from MMA after UFC 144
- He's been talking about retiring for awhile.
- He said he was fighting to get his belt back.
- During the post-fight interview while inside the octagon and in the post-fight press conference, he said he trained the hardest he ever trained for his fight against Jon Jones. (Rampage didn't have anything for Jones, even when Rampage was at his best.)
- Rampage will never get another title shot, because he'd have to beat at least 2 top 5 fighters in a row before he faced Jon Jones again. Ryan Bader is a fight that will put him back into the Win column where he can go on to fight bigger people after this fight or have a Win/Loss on his record to retire to.
- After his loss to Jon Jones, he begged Dana White to put him on the UFC Japan card (UFC 144), which is where his career was built. (Both Dana and Rampage said that Rampage begged for the Japan spot.)
- Fighting in front of the country/people where you made your career for one last time, especially after you've been away from them for 6 years, it is the perfect way to retire, win or lose.
- Rampage did a 45 minute interview with Ariel Helwani, where they both walked around the city of what I think is Tokyo and talked about his life/MMA/etc. Click Here
- Rampage went to the weigh-ins earlier today weighing 211 pounds, so he was 5 pounds overweight and would be deducted 20% of his prize purse, which is a lot of money for him, which goes to Ryan Bader.

Why I think he might not retire!!
He's earning stupid amounts to fight, he's really popular and famous, so he attracts a lot of viewers. Ufc is a businiss after all.
He didn't really beg Dana, he's just being really humble about it, after his loss to JOnes, in the backrooms when he was getting stiched up, he apologized to Dana and asked for Japan, Dana replied quickly, saying sure, I'll fix.
Ok, not many reasons lol. Not sure what he makes, but in my head I'm picturing he's one of the people who get the most,so if he's raking in millions, maybe he'll go on a few more fights. Maybe fight Shogun if he wins. Although maybe retire if he loses to Bader xD.

Sexyama looked like he was too drained to even lift his arms at the weigh ins. Not a good sign at all. Shields prolly gonna rape face.

just thought the odds are too high for a 5 rounds fight
plus, I don't think Henderson can win by decision, so if he never wins by decision I'm basic freeroling the fight

Soooo gamboooly. And i wouldn't say that Henderson can't win a decision here... Frankie is super tough, will be extremely hard for Benson to finish even if Bendo is super dominate like he was vs Miller and Guida.

- Kongo (6'4, 229 pounds, 82 inch reach) vs. Hunt (5'10, 264 pounds, 74 inch reach)
Kongo @ UFC 144: 229 pounds (N/A)
Kongo @ UFC 137: 234 pounds (win)
Kongo @ UFC Live: Kongo vs. Barry: 234 pounds (win)
Kongo @ UFC 120: 228 (draw)
Kongo @ UFC Live: Vera vs. Jones: 237 pounds (win)
- If Henderson wins, it will be by Decision or late round Submission, most likely a Decision.
If Edgar wins, it will be by Decision. If Edgar doesn't land a perfect button shot to wobble Henderson then swarm him, he wont KO/TKO Henderson or submit him, Henderson's got a good chin.
