Maniac A player who plays way too aggressively, betting and raising all the time no matter what he is holding. When a maniac bets against you and you have some sort of hand, you should always try to get a showdown. Also be very wary when a Maniac suddenly starts playing passively and just calls you all the way - often he will be trying to pull off a ′tricky′ play, disguising a huge hand.
