Everyone seems to take this Galfond comment really serious. For me it more looks like durrr did like a joking thing friends between and put that rule in since they knew from the start they wherent gonna play eachother and everyone goes like "zomg hes scared of him! - no way hes scared of him!!". At least I think its obv he didnt put the rule there to prevent Galfond from taking the challenge and more doing it like a salute for a friend he knows is good at poker.

i wouldnt be surprised to find out that rule was added for a prop bet or something. like post it on two plustwo and if the percentage of posts including the rule about galfond is higher then x blah wins

he posts that so people see hes scared and beatable by other players, or scared atleast

when in all fact hes not scared of phil, they're friends most likely

i'd be willing to bet he would play phil under close circumstances

im sure he dosn't mind playing Jman, just not with 3:1 on the 500k, for even money i'm sure he would play him all day non stop

I'm surprised that Jman came in 2nd of online $ earned in 2008... It seems every time people post his hands on here on RH he gets coolered for 6-figures every time, lulz.

Maybe the unwritten condition is that the hands have to be played *CONTINUOUSLY* (in one session), and Galfond is his nap-time stand-in. Oh, that was supposed to be a secret.

I can't wait to see this happening, durrr underestimates Ivey's capacity to adapt to 4 tables imo... If it was 2 tables i'd probably put Ivey as a favorite but 4 tables i dunno, gotta wait and see, should be very interesting.
