Liquidpoker PCA Report (Day 2)

Day 2 Started off at noon just as Day 1 did. Rumor had it that Day 2 was going to have a much more difficult field than Day 1. I entered the poker room around 2pm in the afternoon to check up on some of the LPer's. The first one I caught up with was Kon aka casinocasino who was absolutely running over his table.

casinocasino got out to a very fast start, gathering almost 60k by the 2nd level of play. Unfortunately for him he ran into a complete idiot who decided to stack off for almost 200bb's with AK in the 2nd level and ran into casinocasino's KK. In a 75k pot, an ace flopped leaving casinocasino down to only 18k.

We met up with TalentedTom, only to find that nothing was really going on at his table. Over at the other side of the room I met up with Brendan aka II nRg II, who wasn't having a very good start as he was at 7k. He managed to build back up to 38k later on in the day however.

The toughest table of the day was easily the one in the front of the room that held TheGrinder, JC Tran, and Martine23. But the star at that table was Genius28 who totally ran over everyone and was in total control over the table for the entire day.

After checking up on those players, I went back to the Lounge and took a picture so you guys could get an idea of how the wireless lounge is almost 24/7 at Atlantis:

After coming back to the room, TalentedTom showed up to inform us he busted, as did casinocasino. Sad times... I went back to the poker room and on the way I saw II nRg II walking back telling me he busted too. A bad day for LP.net! As I made it back in the poker room, there was a large crowd hovering over one player... Chris "Genius28" Lee~

Genius28 somehow managed to end the day with 175k in chips. We went over to check on ElkY as well and found that he was at a solid 47k. The tournament ended after the 400/800 stage and our entire LP.net group decided to head out to the Sea Fire Steak House. We all met up at 9:15 ~~

What a savage picture... You guys know your jealous. After dinner we headed to pre drink in RaiNKhaN's room and ElkY taught us this game called Ride the Bus. Gamboooool!

Then later we head to the best bar in the Bahamas: Senor Frogs and meet up with none other than the great H@LLINGGOL. So obv we all had to take a picture of him.

The night was both short and long for some of us. All I know is that TalentedTom, missot, and PoorUser totally blew chunks when they got back to their room. Alcohol totally pwned them. Good times. I'll report back tomorrow~

Day 2 has ended with what appears to be two players over the 400,000 chip mark. Fresh of a blindingly good run at Bellagio, Justin Bonomo leads the field with 475,000 chips. Just behind at 408,000 is none other than 2006 PCA Champion Steve Paul-Ambrose. A proper report and chip count will follow. In the meantime, here are some selected approximate chip counts at the end of Day 2.
