pretty bad on all streets. Fold this hand preflop, don't cbet this board with no equity, turn is a massive spew.

Why do you think this justifies his play?

i don't think postflop was played correctly, but there's not a whole lot wrong w/ 3betting this 3handed preflop

how does 3 handed change anything, its still a normal steal scenario ;o

I would say there is. I don't think you should include a hand this weak in your 3betting range before you're 3betting around 25% and to be 3betting that much is definitely a misstake given how tight players open the button (it's arguable if it's even correct to 3bet that much against a 100% button open imo). Also you didn't really give any motivation as to why it being 3 handed matters but it seems like you do think this makes a significant difference, it doesn't, this is a misconception on your part.

Ask yourself why you are 3betting pre flop. Now ask yourself villains calling range IP 3 handed to a 3bet. Now based on your preflop decision to 3bet, how should you proceed on this flop?

I am a degen. Do not believe in any of my advice.

villains preflop calling range is fucking great and all, but he's gonna take it down w/ this 3bet alot... and you guys act like when he's called he's never gonna fucking win the pot lol

DaTruf   United States. Mar 31 2011 08:16. Posts 398

but i guess i agree w/ you guys, hero should obviously only be 3betting AA

DaTruf   United States. Mar 31 2011 08:21. Posts 398

i guess i fail to see how bad reverse implied odds means you should never 3bet the hand

Oskar_123   Sweden. Mar 31 2011 08:28. Posts 401

when you clearly have no interest in discussing poker why do you bother posting on a poker forum?

DaTruf   United States. Mar 31 2011 08:32. Posts 398

lol the only advice you gave is 3bet a better hand preflop and when you miss check/fold

wolfheart   Estonia. Mar 31 2011 08:50. Posts 7592

ofcouse i 3bet better hands preflop but it was 3 handed thats why i 3bet button raise. flop was noting ..it was all about turn if i woulda bet big turn he woulda folded most of the time and very hard to call on river with 88 on that spot

Never give up.
